The Design:
Chalet 345, originally developed by a Parisian man in the early 1970 ’s, has recently been entirely refurbished to the highest standards. Commanding views across the piste laced with powder fields and snow-clad trees, two spacious living rooms accommodate parents and children alike. The fully fitted kitchen is separate to keep the clutter of cooking away from the stunning views.
Chalet 345 has been interior and architecturally designed to a high standard in a cool, modern style but still retains traditional chalet charm. It uses fabrics from Colefax and Fowler, paints from Farrow and Ball and wallpapers from Ralph Lauren. An eclectic mix of old French antiques and design classics from Italian designers Natuzzi and British designers Conran and Heals. It has all the modern comforts needed to make a holiday as relaxing as possible. It has a cozy Savoyard feel with a background of stone and timber played against modern accents - only 5 mins walk from town.

When you enter Chalet 345 you will find a massive entry hall and second reception/ television room, large bedroom with beds for four people (ideal hide away for children), further double bedroom for two people with double French doors with beautiful views to the piste, separate bathroom with bath and shower over and WC, laundry room and a small sauna room.
First floor:
Double bedroom with French doors to the balcony and ensuite shower room, modern kitchen with stone work tops – the kitchen has an electric oven, 4-ring ceramic hob, large fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine, kettle and toaster, large open plan living room with sitting area and dining area both with unbeatable views over the piste, log fire, flat screen TV, DVD and CD player with large DVD collection for your enjoyment, games cupboard, fast WIFI connection, satellite channels for French and UK viewers.
Second floor:
Twin bedroom; a further very large bedroom with beds for four people, making it an ideal family or children’s room with French doors to the balcony, family bathroom (bath with shower attachment, separate walk in shower WC, basin, hairdryer).
Outside:
The balcony has a marble-topped table and a large wooden teak table, chairs, a large l-shaped sofa for summer and BBQ. The chalet is on a private access road with no passing traffic and children may play safely in the grassed garden on two different levels - plenty of room for making snowmen. The chalet also provides plenty of logs for the wood burning fire.
Utilities:
The laundry room has a washing machine, condenser dryer and drying rack. There are two 300-litre tanks providing lots of hot water. The drying room also affords storage space for ski equipment. A huge garage, further entry hall and ski and mountain bike storage area has been developed.

Lovely chalet, great views of Les Gets
Les Eglantines is a comfortable, well-equipped chalet on the Mont Chery side of Les Gets. It swallowed our party of 10, including 6 teenagers, with ease. We made good use of the well-stocked kitchen and the two sitting rooms. It has lovely views over the mountains, particularly at sunset. It always makes a difference when the owners use their property and it really feels like a home. We used Les Berthets Sports for our equipment as advised by the owner and found them to be very helpful, with good rental kit. We loved Les Gets too. A very friendly French resort, which isn't always the case in our experience! There were plenty of restaurants in the town and on the mountainside but we did lots of cooking at home, using the local supermarkets, mostly because we couldn't be bothered to go out in the evening, spending time around the log burner playing cards. As we were skiing over the UK half-term holiday there were lots of Brits in the resort, who like us, had mostly driven down. We would highly recommend Les Eglantines for a memorable skiing holiday and would love to return. Thanks very much!

Luxury ultimate chalet 345:
We were delighted to find the chalet beautifully appointed and with an ideal layout for a family visit. My son, his wife and two young children stayed downstairs with two bedrooms, bathroom and family room.
My partner and I enjoyed the top floor parents retreat. The woodburning fireplace in the lounge room made for a cosy atmosphere. The kitchen amenities were topshelf with a convenient layout. Views overlooking Les Gets village and Mont Cherie from the huge terrace were spectacular. We had a wonderful stay and will come again. We will certainly recommend this luxurious and pristine property to our family and friends. Mrs Helena van Herel from the Netherlands

A luxury family chalet with stunning views
We loved every minute in Les Eglantines. A family of 5 with 3 children aged 6, 9 and 12 we had loads of space (our friends had to cancel unfortunately) but whilst we could see that it would have been perfect for 10 people it was also really perfect for just us - the space is very adaptable for different combinations. The chalet has been beautifully designed and thought out - nothing forgotten and the photos don't really show just how gorgeous the decor and how stunning the views are! The descriptions are accurate and everything was spotless when we arrived. The manager, Jo was there to meet us and showed us how everything worked and was readily available on the phone if we had any questions. The owner had given us lots of advice about booking our kids skiing lessons, where to hire skis, (how to get a locker in the ski hire place for our skis - its a steep walk back up so this was a great idea), so everything was all organised in advance. Les Gets is a lovely resort and great for kids and families with a great variety of slopes. We ate really well at lunchtime in the town and the food was really not that expensive. The owner provided us with an amazing list of restaurants but we mostly self catered in the evenings, quite often having bought lovely food from the local boucherie/rotisserie/patisserie so we didn't really do much cooking but wanted to make the most of the gorgeous chalet! We left our skis in Les Gets but should you want to bring them back to the chalet the entrance hall was perfectly designed for getting changed and hanging up wet ski wear and the underfloor heating was great for drying out boots. Had we spent the holiday with our friends our whole family would have very comfortably stayed on the ground floor which has a lovely bunk bed room and a double bed-room. The girls were enchanted by the double bunks. There were three more bedrooms (all double) upstairs to choose from too and all the bathrooms were spacious and beautifully designed. What more can we say. We hope we can come back some day! I can't imagine a better chalet in Les Gets. The Hails-Smith Family (Feb 13-19 2016).

The Hails-Smith family were the perfect guests and very welcome back to Chalet Les Eglantines. What a lovely family. We are so pleased that they had a fantastic holiday and we have been so lucky to only have some of the most kindly people enjoying the chalet. Comments like this make it so worthwhile sharing our home in the snow.

Elegant Luxury
We have hired Chalets and Villa's regularly with our family, Les Eglantines is easily one of our favourites. The Chalet has every amenity you need for a fuss free, comfortable stay. An easy stroll into the village for ski hire, groceries and meals out. We loved being able to spread out (separate spaces for adults and kids...), plenty of storage for ski gear, the property has been recently renovated to high standards and the decor is fab. We wanted to stay longer. Enjoy x

great stay
Les eglantines is a very nice, practical, new and clean house at a great location. Close by village (although walking back is quite an exercise) and near the slopes. Sleeps a lot of people. We enjoyed our stay very much!

It was so lovely to have this family stay. They had their parents and a small baby with them and we love it when many generations meet at Les Eglantines. They were the first people to use the baby box including our pram etc and I hope that made their stay much easier. We very much look forward to welcoming them back. All the best for 2015! A really comfortable and elegant chalet
Ten of us spent a wonderful week in Chalet Les Eglantines. Two families with fairly grown up kids. This is not a cramped chalet designed for rental - it is a family home. Spacious, elegant and beautifully furnished. There are two separate sitting rooms so there is plenty of room to split up and watch different things on TV or relax. All the beds are very comfortable and joining instructions and greeting on arrival were all perfect and very helpful. Its a pleasant walk into town and the views are great. There are balconies all around the chalet so lots of outside space in good weather. There is good parking for two or three cars as well. We would certainly recommend the chalet to friends and look forward to returning.

The Cadman Family were the most charming guests. We love having such kind people staying and cannot recommend them enough to any other owners. They left the chalet spotless - thank you! It makes renting our place out worthwhile when you get to meet such lovely families. We wish you all the best for 2015 and would be delighted to have you stay again - anytime. Michelle and Andrew

Ski Holiday
Great location in a fantastic resort with access to multiple other ski locations in the Portes du Soleil region. The chalet is well positioned in the town of Les Gets with only a short walk to the lifts. Great chalet layout with everything you need. Will definitely be back every year.

Fabulous Family Holiday
We stayed in this beautiful chalet with our two children (10&11 years). After a long flight and a change of season it was truly magnificent to arrive to this property. Everything we needed for a successful stay was provided - including super comfortable beds!
The location was great, elevated enough so you have stunning views, yet an easy walk into town and the ski lifts.
We look forward to visiting again. Thank you for a fantastic holiday!

one of the best location in les gets
staying at Les Eglangtine in Les Gets was one of our best relaxed holidays for some time. we found the chalet of extreme high comfortable standard, the recent extensive renovations which were only just completed are a real credit to the owners who obviously have taken into consideration of what paying guests would expect in making their stay enjoyable and comfortable.
the views across the village and mountains from the massive entertaining terrace are just mesmerizing. the chalet is on several levels, giving privacy for each guest.
within an easy stroll to the centre of Les Gets, with all its restaurants and shops, plus the convenience of ski in ski out, pleasing everyone staying at the chalet. i would certainly be happy to book the chalet at any time, and would highly recommend anyone who is looking for a wonderful holiday to book the chalet.
About the host
Hosted by Michelle van Tulder
My name is Michelle. We love going to our chalet in the heart of the French Alps. We have two children and the chalet accommodates us perfectly and leaves heaps of room for our friends and their children too. We make sure that the chalet is a real home away from home and as my husband builds hotels we have made sure that our chalet has all the conveniences that you would expect to make your holiday as trouble free as possible - whilst ensuring that you can holiday in style. We have just finished an extensive renovation program. The entire chalet has been refurbished and enlarged. If you have stayed with us before, you will love it even more now. We decided to invest further in the property as the location is exceptional and we feel it demands a property of a higher standard.
We have been so lucky over the years to have guests join us from all over the world - with the chalet appealing to families and friends equally. We have had people staying from newborn (and pregnant mothers too!) up to experienced senior skiers (my dad is over 70 and he still loves to hit the piste with us all - his racing photos from the 1960's grace the chalet walls). I like to think that we have made the chalet welcoming to all ages and abilities.
We would love to welcome you to Chalet 345.
