Oceanus Jardim development in Olhos de Agua is a refined location where you can experience an enjoyable a relaxing holiday. There is a variety of local shops cafes and bars. The Olhos de Agua beach is 5min walk or a 10 min stroll with a resident lifeguard and has toilet/shower facilities with the Maria Luisa and Falesia beaches in near proximity. The village has numerous shops, banks, pharmacist and a medical centre all in near proximity of the apartment. A taxi rank and bus stop is a short distance as is a supermarket with its own bakery. There is a tourist information office with excursions to Zoo Marine/Slide and Splash or a Fishing Trip. Car and cycle hire can also be arranged from here as well as a shuttle bus to the Large Algarve shopping area in Guia which is about 15-20 minutes away. For the Kids there is the beach, visit to either "Aqualand" or "Slide and Splash", water parks, "Zoomarine", etc which are just a short drive by car or bus.

Avoid this place, it's expensive and nothing works.

We made the mistake of staying here for 30 days. Clean place, decent location. Good (but small) pool. This place is fine for a digital nomad if you bring your own internet. (Get a MEO 5G eSim card!) That's about all the positives I have to say. Temperatures hit 42 degrees during our stay, and the air conditioning was broken. Our host refused to let his ON SITE property manager come look at it. After a few days back & forth, we had to contact VRBO support to force our host into helping. The property manager had it fixed in 5 minutes. The hot water worked sometimes. You have to leave the bathroom to restart the boiler constantly while showering. The electricity was awful. If you use two elements on the stove at the same time, the breaker for the whole place goes. If you use the oven and an element, the breaker goes. Technically there IS wifi, but it's really only usable for email. It's too slow for social media or even basic browsing. Don't bother trying to stream any music or video. It's a 10 minute walk to the beach, not 5 as advertised. Algarve has some amazing beaches, but this one isn't one of them. If you stay here, get out of Olhos D'Agua often. The host in general is intent on not lifting a finger to help you with anything that goes wrong. We raised each of these issues with him and he only helped if we forced it through (the very helpful) VRBO support. You have a thousand choices for places in Algarve. Skip this one.

My wife and I have 4 children and we appreciate a relaxing holiday which includes a great location and enough privacy to do as much or a little as we choose.

This idilic location allows us to switch off and completely recharge.

Why they chose this property

Olhos D'Agua has everything wonderful the Algarve has to offer. It has some wonderful local restaurants and bars but is also close to Albufeira and Vilamoura and only 20 minutes drive to Faro Airport.
Ohlos de Agua has its own beach but is also very close to Maria Luisa.
It is a great location for Golf with 2 courses within 5 minutes drive and many more in nearby Vilamoura.
Olhos D'Agua has everything for the perfect vacation the whole year round.

What makes this property unique

Its near to the local Supermarket and small bars, restaurants, coffee shops and excellent beach; and its a €35 taxi journey from Faro Airport.
