Villa M&N, Big Pool, Private Garden And Sea View

Whilst the town has maintained much of its original charm it is now one of the most up and coming resorts of this region. Kalkan consists of narrow cobbled streets which all lead to the picturesque harbour. It has a wonderful array of restaurants where you can sample some of the finest cuisine in the world, many with roof top terraces offering a wonderful view of the harbour and the starlight night sky. Alternatively you can watch the gullets and fishing boats from one of the many harbour side restaurants. There are a few bars available in both areas for a relaxing drink at any time of the day or night. Market day, Thursday, selling a wide variety of goods including locally grown produce, particularly good value are the herbs and spices. In the town there is a wide selection of shops selling beautiful Turkish carpets, jewellery, antiques and wonderful clothing made from the finest Turkish cotton which open well into the late hours.

Great villa!

Excellent communication with Dominiek and Bayram. Villa MN is spacious and very well equipped with everything we needed. Great bathrooms and comfy beds with plenty of towels and aircon for a comfy night sleep. Lots of kitchen cupboard supplies for making meals and bathroom cupboards of shampoos and suntan lotions. The roof terrace was lovely in the evening and the pool spotlessly cleaned with the gardens surrounding it making it very private. The house cat and tortoise were an extra bonus! We visited several restaurants and all were excellent, as well as a couple of days out sailing around the coastline. Thank you, we have had the most relaxing, perfect week and we love the villa!

Perfect

This villa is the perfect place to stay when visiting Kalkan and the area. (We were there two adults plus two children, aged 7 and 8.) It gives a lot of freedom - you can have your own breakfast just beside the pool or on the rooftop terrace and go to a restaurant for lunch or for dinner if you wish but you can also have your own barbecue on the rooftop terrace. The most fantastic thing is the pool. We were using it constantly when in the house - morning, noon, night! The house has all that you need: two bedrooms and two bathrooms and air conditioning. The area is fantastic: friendly people, gorgeous beaches, historic places, beautiful nature, extraordinarily tasty fruits and vegetables and great food in restaurants. I can only recommend the area and the house to everyone. You won't regret it.

Lovely Holiday

The property was exactly what we anticipated. We had a fantastic, relaxing stay. The property was well equipped and ideal for my wife and I. Depending on availability when we are able to confirm dates for next year, we would not hesitate to return. The villa owners were friendly, helpful and communicated very effectively. I am unable to comment on the local property manager because we never saw him during our stay.

Great villa with everything we needed.

We had a fantastic time. The villa was charming, great pool area and rooftop space with bbq and loads of room. It is very secluded with fantastic gardens and not over looked. We even had our own tortoise who visited us most days !! We had a couple of issues but we were able to contact Bayram quickly and easily who sorted them out with no drama. We also were able to contact Dominiek easily. We loved the fact that the villa was slightly out of the main town and was a great walk down in the mornings, taxis were easy to get and very cheap. All in all we had a wonderful time. Many thanks

Peace of mind in Kalkan

Stayed with family and child summer 2021 in this practical and nice house. The house has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Two bathrooms and two bedrooms. The pool is big (and deep, not possible to stand for adults and children). You can cook at home, barbecue and order in if that is your thing. A short walk to the center of town with many good restaurants.

Great!

We had a lovely stay and the owner was very helpful and responsive with lots of information on the area. The villa is very spacious and beautifully decorated with a great pool and gardens. The villa was fully equipped with everything you could need. You can walk into the old town quite easily but we got a taxi back sometimes as the hills are quite steep! We will definitely stay here again. Thank you.

Perfect Family Villa

This is our second time going back to this villa. The property is clean, tidy and spacious and with all the facilities you need on holiday. Helen the property manager was easily contactable and very helpful as always. The villa is perfect for a family holiday, it is in a great location with a lovely roof terrace and fantastic views of the bay. Turkish people are very friendly and Kalkan is a charming holiday destination with cobbled streets and fantastic restaurants! We hope to return very soon.

Happy stay

We had a very happy stay in this spacious house in Kalkan, even better than we had hoped for, thanks to the completeness of the villa, the lovely views on the sea and mountains, the swimming pool - a relief during hot days - and Kalkan, that offers calmness and enough distraction.

A lovely family holiday

The villa was just as described and more. It was clean and tidy and included all facilities and accessories that you could need. The pool was lovely and regularly maintained. The roof terrace was an added bonus, a lovely place to sit and admire the view early morning and evening. The local shops were 10-15 minutes walk downhill although a longer uphill walk on the way back! I would not recommend the area for people with walking difficulties. However, there were numerous taxis available locally if required. There were lots of places to eat and all at reasonable prices. Some even offered take away and free delivery. Overall a lovely villa in a friendly resort.

Fab!

Stayed here for ten days and it was the best relaxing holiday I've been on. Big bonus is the roof terrace, spent many nights looking at the stars not wanting to go out! The villa has everything you need and the pool is lovely. Kalkan is an amazing area to explore and I would definitely recommend this villa to stay. It's about a fifteen minute walk into the main area of restaurants etc; a little longer coming back up the hill but worth it for the relaxation factor. I'm hoping to holiday again here.

We love Kalkan because of the fantastic facilities in the area. There are some beautiful beaches and the marina boasts a great range of bars and restaurants. There really is something for everyone here. The area is just great for those who like archaeological sites: within 30 min. drive you find at least ten antique cities.

What makes this property unique

The property is just ten minutes walk from the beach. The villa is settled in a very quiet area, but only some steps away from some banks, the grocery shops and several restaurants. But you can easily stay the whole day in or around the pool, in the sun or in the shade of the garden.
