Villa Alarahan in central Kalkan Old Town with private heated pool, no taxis!

Villa Alarahan is a beautifully furnished villa with own private heated pool, and is perfectly located in the heart of Kalkan Old Town. Just one minute walk will take you into the very centre of Kalkan where you will find local restaurants, bars, galleries, shops and nearby are supermarkets, banks and other facilities. No taxis needed for the journey home! The beach and harbour are just a minute or two further down the hill.

The villa comprises of a master bedroom with super king size bed, balcony and en-suite bathroom. The second bedroom has a double bed (can be separated into 2 singles) and en-suite bathroom. Comfortable lounge area with a large dining table, fast Wifi and Sky TV too. Both bedrooms and the lounge have air conditioning to keep you cool in the summer heat. A hairdryer, pool and bath towels are provided for you during your stay leaving you plenty of suitcase room to fill up with local crafts, clothing and accessories from the array of shops right on the doorstep.

The fully equipped kitchen has plenty of tableware, cooking facilities, dishwasher, microwave, fresh water dispenser, fresh coffee machine and coffee grinder, and we make sure the basics like salt, pepper, tea, instant coffee, fresh drinking water, washing up liquid and bin bags etc are provided so you can get straight on with your holiday. There is a convenient toilet on the ground floor too.

The outside area has very pretty walled courtyard with stunning bougainvillea and features a crystal clear 6m x 4m private heated pool, 4 comfortable sun loungers, umbrellas, dining area and BBQ. Villa Alarahan has breathtaking mountain and sea views from both the courtyard and the roof terrace. There are inflatables for fun in the sun too. The roof terrace with its stunning views over the town and of course the mountains and the sea has a dining table and comfortable sofas to relax on. We have a washing machine in the upstairs laundry area for your use. Sleeping 4 people comfortably, we also have an additional child size mattress that can be used in one of the 2 bedrooms if you require to accommodate an additional little one.

Villa Alarahan really is a home from home with so much more, The location is fantastic - your walk home after an evening out in the town really is as quick as can be as we are situated just a stone’s throw from the fabulous local restaurants and bars of Kalkan town centre.

We really enjoyed our week-long stay at this villa. It is just a minute walk from the prettiest street in the old town, which is full of great restaurants and bars. We loved the very generous welcome basket, the slick airport transport arrangements, the pristine pool, the authentic feel of this lovely Turkish town house, the comfy beds and the view of the sunset from the roof terrace. Even though it was on the edge of busy night life, the villa was quiet, safe and spotlessly clean.

We had a fantastic stay at Villa Alarahan. The property was very clean and the pool was spotless. 2 decent sized bedrooms, both with spacious and modern en-suites. Fully equipped with everything you might need during your stay. There was a lovely sea view from the roof terrace that overlooked Kalkan old town and the bay.Couldn’t ask for a better location as the old town with its many shops, bars and restaurants were about a minutes stroll away. Given the central location the villa was peaceful at all times.Would definitely return.

Booking very straight forward, our host Laura was so helpful and provided lots of useful information before our stay, and a welcome pack on arrival. Great villa close to everything

This was our second trip to Kalkan and we wanted to stay closer to town this time, so Villa Alarahan fitted the bill nicely as it was within 100m of restaurants and supermarkets, so no car, taxi, or long walk required to go anywhere. The villa is on a quiet side street and had everything we needed for a family of 3, 2 week stay. The pool was great as was the rooftop with sea view. Everything we needed was there and we really didn't have to take anything. Booking process was simple and Laura the owner and Sharon the property manager answered any questions we had.

great location in the heart of old town

The property was clean and comfortable. It was fantastic to have a welcome pack of useful things and also good supplies in the cupboards. the water cooler is genius and saved carting heavy water from the supermarket down all those steps! The heated pool was unbelievable especially at night it was amazing. There is not a lot of room round the pool for sunbeds but as it was just 2 of us it wasn't a big deal. plenty of space to enjoy breakfast and lunch by the pool though. An amazing place to stay right in the heart of the town, just 50 (steep) yds and there you are, enjoying dinner in a myriad of gorgeous restaurants. fantastic would recommend.

Villa Alarahan is a lovely villa in the heart of the old town, it is a bit hilly, but not too bad.

Laura has been a fantastic host, she has let me move my dates a few times. Welcome pack was great to get us started. Lovely villa, supermarket just up the hill 5 min. Old town 3 min down hill. Kalkan is beautiful!! I would highly recommend this villa for a small family. The roof terrace is fabulous for sunsets. The pool is big, and heated if it’s a bit chilly at night, we came the last week of October. I would book this villa again. Thank you Laura for everything.

Fabulous location - Owner was beyond helpful!

The location of this Villa is amazing, literally minutes from restaurants, bars shops and harbour. We couldn't believe how quiet it was being so central. The owner couldn't have been more helpful from the minute we booked until the minute we left - answered all emails and messages almost immediately. The Villa has everything you need right down to needles and cotton. Fabulous pool - basically everything you need to escape and relax.

Excellent stay in Villa Alarahan

Villa Alarahan has a very cozy atmosphere and is very central in terms of location. It is enough to walk to meet all your needs such as market, sea, beach club, restaurant. We did not need a car in Kalkan. Laura is a very kind and generous host. She had prepared a welcome package on our arrival. We had all the equipment we needed at home, so we were very comfortable in this respect. The moment we were most unhappy during the holiday was when we left home. Thank you very much again. It was a great experience.

Laura and Emre met in Kalkan in 2007, married in London in 2011 and purchased the beautiful Villa Alarahan together in 2014. We holiday at the Villa twice a year and even 10 years later we still adore it!

Why they chose this property

We stay regularly in the villa in Kalkan and fell in love with it when we rented it in summer 2014, luckily we were able to purchase it and it is our dream Turkish holiday home that we are thrilled to share with others. We regularly bring family and friends and everyone loves it.

What makes this property unique

We think the central Kalkan location is just perfect and it means we are in the heart of the action, its easy to get into town and back again and we have everything we need for a relaxing holiday right on our doorstep.
