Villa Lithia With Private Pool And Exceptional Sea Views

The main house comprises of a master bedroom and twin bedroom both have their own bathrooms and air conditioning. It has an open plan lounge, kitchen dining area, free WiFi available. French doors open from each room out onto terraces facing the sea. The guest house has a double room and en-suite bathroom. The pool is private with it's own terrace and sun loungers. There is private parking. (Please note if only the main house is rented for 2 or 4 persons, the guest house will not be let separately to unknown parties during your stay). Simply Beautiful

A beautiful place to stay and relax. We were a family of 5 and we had everything we needed. The villa is georgous and the view even better. We popped into the village just down the road and to Fiskardo for meals out and drinks. Both very easy to drive to. We had a lovely time and would like to come back.

Beautiful Kefalonia

Villa Lithia is just beautiful, fabulous set up and a great pool. It was perfect for our family, within easy driving distance to Fiskardo and other surrounding villages. The ‘blue and white’ (as our 2 year old called them) walking trails start at the doorstep and are all over. They are a great way to get about if you don’t want to drive. It is peaceful and has everything that you need. Thank you for a wonderful holiday. The Howarth Family

Beautiful villa and location

We have just returned from a wonderful weeks stay at this lovely villa. We loved the beautiful views and the villa is in a very peaceful location centrally placed for Fiscardo and also beaches on the west coast. We loved Jerusalem beach and Tavern and also enjoyed sunset at Aqua Atlaties Tavern and beach. Hired a boat for the day from Regina boats in Fiscardo which was fab and enjoyed meals in Fiscardo at Elli’s, Iridas and the Captains cabin ( the stifado here was the best meal of all ). The villa also isn’t far for day trip visits to Assos, Mythos, the caves near Sami and Anti Samos for days out. All in all a lovely weeks stay in a beautiful villa and location.

Simply the best

This was our third time at Lithia and perhaps the best so far. The property probably has the best views in Cephalonia down across the pine forests and across the channel to Ithaca. You can spend the whole day watching Ithaca change as the sun moves across the sky. The villa is beautifully appointed and very well equipped. There is even Wi-Fi. The bedrooms are cool (air-conditioned) and the whole property clean and tidy. There is a twice weekly maid service with fresh sheets and clean towels. The pool area is private and sheltered and a real suntrap. Location is superb with a 10 minute drive to the beautiful harbour of Fiskado which has a wealth of Tavernas, restaurants and shops. You are also within 20minutes of all of the best beaches at the north of the island. The owners, Bob and Anne Marie are fantastic. they sorted out hiring a yacht and the Marine Adventure trip (look on Trip Adviser-it's brilliant). We travelled as a party of 6 with three children and a grandmother. The annex which is separate from the main house but equally as well fitted out, was perfect for the mother in law. I cant recommend Lithia enough. The only problem is that you have to return home and leave it all behind. I have been depressed since. We have already booked a week next year.

Tranquil and stunning scenery

Stayed as family of 6 in August 2019. Villa is situated about 10 min drive from beautiful town of Fiscardo. The views from villa are breath taking overlooking Ithaca. The oool area is fab and of an evening eating out on the terrace listening to goat bells and watching yachts just perfect. Booking and communication with owners excellent and the Villa was very clean and well equipped. We hired a car which I think is essential For location. We did walk twice into Discardo -once through woods which was steep and unsteady took 45 mins and once in road took about an hour. Lovely Holiday and would recommend

Beautiful villa with stunning views!

We have just returned from our two week stay at Villa Lithia and would highly recommend. The villa offers everything you need to make your stay comfortable and is well equipped. It was cleaned regularly providing fresh linen and towels and the pool was well maintained. The view from the terrace is stunning - it’s very relaxing to sit and watch the boats coming and going, whilst listening to the tinkling of the sheep and goat bells in the distance! Lots of lovely eating places in Fiscardo which was only a ten minute drive away and a couple of small shops and tavernas in the nearby village which was only a fifteen minute walk. Bob made the booking process easy and always answered all our questions promptly. Overall we had a wonderful experience and would love to return again some day.

Beautiful Villa

We've just returned from an 11 day stay from this fab villa and already know we'll be back there! Amazing views, fantastic pool area - with umbrellas if shade is needed, wifi, well equipped kitchen, comfy bed and air conditioning. Basically everything you need. Fiskardo is a 45 minute walk through some wooded area and path - it's hilly on the way home! The most amazing beaches are a short drive away .... the colour of the water is breathtaking. Thanks Bob for all your help. Oh - and for future visitors, given Paul the cat an extra cuddle from me. I am not a cat person (more of a dog person) but Paul is such a cutey! Already looking forward to the next visit. :-) Handy tip - we arrived very late at night - Bob gives great directions, but we found it just fine by putting Katsarata into Google Maps and then following Bob's excellent directions from there.

A Fantastic Brilliant and perfect place.

Just returned from a fantastic week at Villa Lithia. The villa was well furnished and equipped with everything I could think of right down to hairdryers and conversion plugs, the cleaner came in twice while I was there to do a big clean and change the linen and I have to say the property was spotless. Loads of places to sit and eat and a large pool and deck to sunbathe, the front veranda has a large pergola when a bit of shade is necessary and also has a large table and chairs, the views over to Ithaca are among the best on the island and change daily with the yachts and motor boats leaving Fiscardo. We had no difficulty finding the villa thanks to very accurate driving directions from Bob Avaient the owner who also sorted out our car hire, and any questions we had before we left about the area or villa were answered promptly and with a great degree of local knowledge. With a couple of tavernas within walking distance and Fiscardo a 4 minute drive away we were never short of somewhere to eat or just sit with a coffee and watch island life go by, trips to Assos and Ithaca are a great day out. My security was returned quickly with no fuss and I would certainly recommend this property to anyone.

Wonderful villa in an ideal location!

Villa Lithia is lovely, the facilities are excellent and it is in a beautiful position with fantastic views and convenient also to get to local beaches and restaurants too, either in nearby villages or in Fiscardo where there is a larger selection of restaurants in the harbour area. There is a small supermarket nearby and larger ones in nearby Fiscardo too, which is about 15 minutes drive away. The villa is kept very clean and the pool cleaned regularly too. We would definitely recommend Villa Lithia to our family and friends and most certainly will be returning. Bob was wonderful and made booking this villa very easy, he was so helpful. He also helped us sort out a hire car too which was great and gave us some recommendations for local beaches, restaurants etc too, which we found very useful.

Unforgettable and addictive

This is the second time we have rented this villa and we will be coming back! Already booked for next year. The villa itself is lovely and we like the little pool house - very handy for a teenage boy! the property was beautifully clean, the gardens lovely and in keeping with the surroundings and the pool much bigger than most rented holiday villas. But all this pales into insignificance when you se the view. It is breathtaking - at its most beautiful in the early morning but gorgeous all day - watch the boats in the water and plan a stroll down to Fiskardo. The local beaches are wonderful - stony but the water is SO clear, the snorkelling fantastic. Favourites are Jerusalem and Emplisi - you must try the taverna at Jerusalem. the owners are friendly, helpful and very responsive to any queries.

A scenic gem

We spent an amazing 10 days in villa Lithia. Bob and Annmarie provided us with really useful information regarding the villa and the surrounding areas, and their restaurant and cocktail bar recommendations were excellent. We were a short 15 minute drive to Fiskardo, where we received friendly welcomes in every place we visited. The villa itself was extremely private and secluded and the sunrise from the villa truly magical. We would highly recommend hiring a boat for the day from Fiskardo boat hire in the harbor. We took ourselves off to many secluded private coves and experienced the clearest blue sea to snorkel in! The location of the villa is perfect in which to explore this wonderful island and there is so much to experience if you can drag yourself away from relaxing beside the pool! We will definitely return some day and would recommend the villa to friends and relatives.

Look no further....

Just back from our second stay ay Lithia. There simply is no where else to stay on this Island. The villa is beautifully maintained with comfortable beds and excellent air conditioning. Kitchen is well equiped and there is WiFi and a good TV/DVD sytem a necessity fior the children. Its located in a quiet village in the hills above Fisfkado. The views are breathtaking and it would be easy to spend you entire holiday gazing across to Ithaca and beyond to the haunting mountains of the Greek mainland. The colours chnage continously and sunrise over Ithaca is spectacular. The property has a useful annex which is self contained and equally well maintained. It's a ten minute drive to bustling Fiskado which is a beautiful harbour town with many restaurants and shops. The town has a fantastic atmosphere and there can be no better place to people watch. There are excellent beaches nearby, our favourite is Foki just ten minutes down the hill. A shallow bay with olice trees running down to a claen and pebbled beach. Crystal clear waters and excellent snorkelling. Brilliant little Taverna across the road ideal for lunch and a supply of beer. The villa has an excellent pool and plenty of terraced area to eat and relax. We have been coming back to Keffalonia on and off for 20 years but Lithia is the best accomodation we have had. So much so that we have already booked again for 2016. It is ideal for couples, familes or other groups. the owners are great-very friendly and willing to help. They sorted out a yacht charter and various other activities efficiently and without any fuss.

total relaxation

What a fantastic location with views of Ithica and other islands. The resident cat Ginga was a perfect host as well. The location was also perfect for evening visits to Fiscado to watch the world go by in the various restaurants or bars around the marina. Will be back in 2015

Totally relaxing

If you want somewhere to relax and unwind, this is the place. If you want somewhere to take your family, this is the place. The villa is suitable for families, a romantic getaway, a relaxing break - whatever your needs, this is a wonderful place to be. There is so much to see and do - or not do, depending on what you want. The house and pool are well maintained and lovely and clean. We enjoyed sitting by the pool reading with the occasional dip in the pool to cool down as it is an excellent suntrap! Sitting eating breakfast in the sunshine enjoying the views is highly recommended! The views are just wonderful. A short drive into Fiskardo where you can sit and enjoy a cocktail at Theadora's whilst trying to decide where to eat (so much choice). Our favourite places to eat were Tselenti's, Rula's and the Thai. Local supermarkets provide a good selection of fresh food if you don't want to eat out. If you want a trip out for the day, you are spoilt for choice as to where to go. The visitors book gives a lot of options. Highly recommend this place. Will be visiting again with the family next time.

Wow!

What a place! Well built, maintained and equipped and in the most fabulous setting. Never been to Kefalonia but it was beautiful with many friendly people and it reminded me quite a lot of the Northern Philippines. Thoroughly recommended villa; can't say more than that!! If you get the chance, book it and go!

Breathtaking

This is our third visit to Villa Lithia.....we have become addicted to the view! But What a view! I could spend the whole holiday just taking it in. The Villa itself is just lovely with everything you need for a really comfortable stay. Ginge the cat is adorable, comes to see you when ever you are there, amazingly never enters the villa! The pool is great for those early morning dips and cooling down during the day. The wonderfully comfortable loungers to laze about on and just read until your eyes can take no more...........the smell of the wild herbs and the ringing of the sheep bells heighten your senses. This truly is magical place to visit! Bob and Annmarie are the most attentive of owners. Their team that manage the villa are efficient and unobtrusive. The Island itself is charming with a number of small beaches, Foki being our favourite. As to restaurants and taverna's they are aplenty and in fairness there is hardly a bad one amongst them! Our favourite is Vegera's especially the "Tuesday Greek Nights"! Just Lovely we can't wait till next year!

'Outstanding'

My daughter found Villa Lithia on the Owners Direct website. It seemed to be everything we were looking for... and it was. Annemarie and Bob were so helpful from the very start. They helped us organise a taxi from the airport,car hire,and also arranged a high chair and cot for the youngest in our party of five. The villa is in a stunning part of Fiscardo nestled among olive trees. The views over the countryside and down to the sea are the stuff postcards are made of. The only sounds that we heard most of the time was the bleating of the goats and their bells as the grazed in the nearby field. The Villa itself is clean very comfortably furnished and has everything you could need for a wonderful holiday.Cleaned very regularly. The gardens are just beautiful,full of flowers and very well tended. Lovely pool too with plenty of comfortable loungers. There is a little house at the end of the drive...Just right for extended family. That too is well equipped and very comfortable. Car hire is essential.The roads though were not busy during the time we were there and so driving was not a chore. Fiscardo is just a short drive away, and has an abundance of restaurants and shops. We tried most of the restaurants and were never disapointed. All very child friendly too, smaller portions not a problem.Lovely art and craft shops too...... I bought the most beautiful handmade leather bag...a fraction of the cost than in the UK. When we return to Fiscardo, I cannot think of anywhere else that I would want to stay. I have been to Greece many times and this has got to be the best ever holiday in terms of comfort, high standard of accommodation and friendly helpful owners. Very highly recommended. We loved Ginga the cat too xx

Postcard Perfect

Stunning villa, with views over Ithaca and surrounding countryside. Quiet rural location, with close links to Fiscardo Harbour and Foki beach, perfect for families and couples alike. We rented the villa for two weeks for our wedding and had our reception tables on the terrace of this beautiful villa making full use of the views, our guests were amazed by the location, as was our wedding planners. The owners and property agents were always on hand and made our stay even more pleasant. Perfect picturesque get away! Perfect for a wedding 'villa reception'.

Why they chose this property

Annmarie and Bob fell in love with Kefalonia on a holiday to Fiscardo in 1995. They loved the island so much that they bought the land and had Villa Lithia built as a holiday home. It has been their much loved family home to them over the past 12 years. The view every morning still takes one's breath away, the tranquil setting in the hamlet of Katsarata amongst the olive trees has never been spoiled.

Kefalonia is an unspoiled haven. The people are wonderful. The beaches are fantastic. It is truly Greek, but with a slight cosmopolitan twist.

Annmarie and Bob now reside back in the UK and all banking transactions are conducted in GBP via a Barclays Bank plc UK.
They would like all to enjoy their privately owned piece of paradise.

What makes this property unique

The house is away from the hustle and bustle, but not far from the chic harbour resort of Fiscardo (8 minute drive). It is also only 2km from two tavernas and two mini-markets. The property has spectacular views over the Ionian sea. Totally private pool area. The main house sleeps 4 persons, with a seperate guest house for 2 persons.
