Calling all sports enthusiasts, tri-athletes, walkers, cyclists, runners, swimmers, bird watchers and people wishing to relax and unwind.

Casa Ida is a beautiful and spacious 1 bedroom, twin bedded, en-suite vacation rental property. Large fitted kitchen with fridge freezer, hob, oven, washing machine. Light and airy lounge diner with leather suite, 40" flat screen TV with full tv pack, dining table and chairs. Large terrace for alfresco dining with views towards Montana Ubique, has table and chairs, sun loungers and BBQ. Free, fast WIFI available. Towels and linens changed weekly.

There is a well stocked small supermarket within walking distance and also the Nazaret Sociedad where you can eat and drink at reasonable prices. More bars and restaurants can be found in the village of Teguise which is approximately 2km away.

Lanzarote hosts lots of high profile sporting events such at The Ironman, Haria Extreme and Ocean Lava and we have many people returning time and time again to stay with us while participating in these events.

Comfortable accommodation

A very well equipped, clean bungalow in an ideal location for exploring Lanzarote. The lovely English owners were available to help with any questions. Highly recommend.

Great base for holiday

Weather apart, (it was very wet, unusually), the apartment was very spacious and well equipped. A very nice welcome pack was provided free of charge, a portable gas heater was very welcome as the evenings were cold and The bottle was replaced quickly when it ran out UK tv was also a good thing as he weather was poor with lots of rain, not typical even at that time of year(Jan/ Feb). Nice area to sit out when the sun did shine with loungers and a table and chairs. Comfortable beds so good nights sleep. Kim and Brian were very helpful without being intrusive so a good time altogether.

Heerlijk ruime woning midden op Lanzerote

De woning is heerlijk ruim met een eigen terras, grote woonkamer, keuken en slaapkamer. Parkeren kan op eigen terrein, dat is prettig. De woning ligt goed centraal op het eiland, zodat alle bezienswaardigheden gemakkelijk zijn te bereiken. De verhuurders zijn hele aardige, behulpzame mensen, die je warm welkom heten met benodigdheden voor de eerste dag. De woning is van alle gemakken voorzien. Wifi werkt goed, en het warme water op zonnewarmte is ruim voldoende en mileuvriendelijk. Ook handdoeken en badlakens zijn aanwezig en goed van kwaliteit. Enige punt wat iets minder is, is dat de tegelvloer aan vernieuwing toe is.

Relaxing vacation in Lanzarote

We spent nearly three weeks at Casa Ida and the overall impression was good. Nazaret is a quiet little village and a convenient location to visit the whole island. The house is fully equipped and the hosts, Kim and Brian very helpful .

Spacious Villa Is Ideal For Two People

We had a very enjoyable stay in this spacious villa. It is in a central location, ideal for exploring this lovely island. Nearby is our favourite town of Teguise, with its interesting buildings, nice shops and good restaurants. Kim and Brian are very friendly, and the welcome pack was much appreciated as we did not arrive until 10pm. If you want to be away from the busy tourist areas, but not too far from civilisation, Nazaret is a very good choice.

Very nice well furnished villa with good wifi and UK TV

We stayed one week in January 2016 and enjoyed it so much we came for two weeks in February/March 2017. Would recommend it if you want a central country location but you do need a car or at least a bike.. The owners Kim and Brian are very friendly and welcoming.

Peaceful Casa for 2

Perfect holiday retreat!

Casa Ida is a comfortable and well equipped villa with a private sun patio overlooking a shared courtyard. This central location is convenient for exploring all sites of interest and especially for dining in lovely Teguise. Kim and Brian were perfect hosts who thought of everything and were helpful in every way.

Lovely quiet accomodation

This is the perfect spot for a quiet holiday. You need a car, but once you have one, everything you need is only 15 minutes away at the most. There is a well stocked supermarket a short walk away and the views and peace and quiet are just outside your front door. We were greeted by the owner, who talked us through all we needed to know, and then left us to it, but were always accessible and helpful if needed. The villa was very spacious indeed, with a cosy bedroom and huge kitchen - so much bigger than the kitchenettes you so often get. The internet,TV and all other services were very reliable, and a very good welcome pack was provided. All in all, would certainly go back! Many thanks Brian and Kim!

A perfect retreat in the heart of the Country

My wife and I had a month here in March - the seventh one month holiday with Brian and Kim since 2013. It's about as perfect as it can get -the peace and quiet of the Country but just 10 minutes from the nearest Costa. Kim and Brian are excellent hosts and are on hand for advice and to sort any problems out. They have an excellent knowledge of the Island and are mines of information on places to see/things to do/ places to eat. Do ask them about the Sociedads -hidden gems but fantastic for dining and meeting the locals. Casa Ida is extremely well equipped , clean and comfortable with a huge range of TV channels. This is definitely the place for relaxing, be it a week or a month; but book it up quickly - lots of people know about it now. Many thanks to Kim and Brian for yet another super holiday. Pam and Rob. Hidden Gem in the heart of Lanzarote

Casa Ida exceeded all expectations. The villa was clean, well equipped and a perfect location as a base to view the island of Lanzarote. Local restaurants Bastros and the famous Lagomar (formerly Omar Sharif's house) are only 10/15min walk from the villa and serve excellent food. The local supermarket is also just a 5min walk so you can also relax with a vino or two and eat in and catch up on some of your favorite shows on the tv channels from home. The location of the villa is perfect as it is right in the heart of Lanzarote so was perfect to drive to all areas of the island. Definitely go north to see Orzola, Mirador del Rio, Jameous del Agua, Cueva de Los Verdes and the beautiful Famara beach. I visited most of the island during my stay with a trip most mornings and then relaxed for the afternoon on the large villa terrace. It definitely is an absolute sun trap. Kim and Brian were great hosts, lovely people and had lots of information on local areas and places to go. Definitely will returning again - Thanks Brian and Kim for a wonderful vacation

A truly relaxing holiday at Casa Ida!

Casa Ida is a real gem of a property in the heart of Lanzarote. It is a great base for exploring the island. It is tastefully decorated, spacious and very well equipped for eating inside or outside. The terrace is a super place to eat or enjoy the sun on very comfy sunbeds. Privacy isn't an issue as the terrace is surrounded by a low wall. The property is well maintained and clean. Bed linen and lovely soft towels are changed frequently. Beach towels are provided and also changed regularly. Kim and Brian are very friendly and helpful, with good knowledge of the island. Our whole Casa Ida experience was made less stressful by the special touches like organising car hire for the duration of our stay and providing a welcome pack tailored to our specific dietary requirements - excellent service! We enjoyed it so much we have already booked to stay there again!! Local restaurants Lagomar and Barstro are worth a visit as the food is of a high standard. (Not a great deal of choice for vegetarians). La Cantina in Teguise offered great tapas and lovely wines.

DIDN´T WANT TO LEAVE

We were looking for a last minute few days in the middle of the island because we had already booked to go to Playa Blanca the following week. We were delighted to find a little gap at Casa Ida. We were so pleased we found this place - it is beautiful. Great kitchen, very well equipped, lovely spacious lounge and dining area and a very comfortable bedroom and en-suite bathroom. The weather wasn´t great but we did manage to get breakfast on the terrace once or twice. Very relaxing and the views are really nice. Even though we were only there a few days, we were left a great Welcome Pack which contained a very nice bottle of wine - thoroughly enjoyable. The only downside to our stay was that we had to leave and go to Playa Blanca - we wished we could have stayed longer. We will definitely be returning and hopefully, next time, there will be a bigger gap! Thank you.

Great winter break

Casa Ida exceeded our expectations. The apartment was clean, very well equipped and perfectly situated for getting out and about - the local bus service was frequent and very reliable. There are three good bar/restaurants within a few minutes walk and Teguise is about 20 minutes walk away if you fancy a change. The kitchen at Casa Ida is very well equipped though and we ate in several nights. There is a supermarket at the end of the road which stocks just about everything you need although we found a better choice of wine in the larger supermarket in Arrecife. The weather wasn't the best but when the sun came out the terrace area was an absolute sun trap and the low walls kept the wind at bay. Kim and Brian were great hosts and had lots of information on local walks. We especially enjoyed the walk to the El Grifo winery - the wine tasting was fantastic. In short, we had a fantastic week and I'm already planning a return.

Book!!

When we booked our stay at Casa Ida we were looking for good value accommodation in a rural setting. What we got far exceeded our expectations. The accommodation is spacious & beautifully presented. The wi- fi is genuinely free & works, the welcome pack thoughtful & helpful. Kim & Brian, the property's owners proved the perfect hosts, helpful & attentive. Casa Ida also proved to be a good base for cycling around Lanzarote & for our participation in Haria Extreme. To sum up if you are planning on visiting Lanzarote, want good quality accommodationin a peaceful setting with the comfort of lovely hosts book Casa Ida. You will be very pleased you did. However, if you are looking for the best kebabs on the island, or all day English fry ups after a night out on the beer look somewhere else. We will be returning because we enjoyed our stay so much.

Perfect relaxing retreat

Casa Ida is the ideal place to unwind and do only what you want to do at your own pace, located near the centre of Lanzarote you are not far away from any of Lanzarote's delights be it beaches or sight seeing. After a day of sight seeing just take a stroll to the local Sociadad for a drink and bite to eat, there are other restaurants also within walking distance to. Kim & Brian are the perfect owners there should you need their advise or help. Casa Ida really is the ideal place for a couple to relax and unwind, should you not want to do anything there is a large patio area to relax in the sun. There is everything to make your holiday complete at Casa Ida.

Outstanding accomodation

My wife and I had our first visit to Lanzarote , Casa Ida, in January 2013 for three weeks. The Casa was perfect in all respects - clean and well equipped comfortable accommodation. Very peaceful and away from the Costas but within 10 minutes of them. Perfectly placed for exploration of this beautiful island. Kim and Brian are the perfect hosts - there for any questions and help but unobtrusive. This accommodation delivers in all respects and lives up to the website description. We enjoyed it so much, we returned for another three weeks in October 2013 and rented Villa Ann (next door) for a month over Christmas /New Year. We are returning again in February 2014 for another three weeks. Not bad for a couple who have never been anywhere more than once. Both these properties are gems and give total freedom. Highly recommended both for couples and families all year round.

Why they chose this property

We used to holiday in Nazaret and we came to love the area so much that when the opportunity of buying our property came up, we grabbed the opportunity with both hands. We have lovingly renovated Villa Ann, Casa Ida and Casa Joanna and are very proud of both of our properties.
Nazaret is an great base for exploring the many delights this wonderful island has to offer. It is a far cry from the bright lights and bars of the main resorts and is ideal if you are looking for peace and relaxation. Come and experience the real Lanzarote, we are sure you will love it as much as we do.

What makes this property unique

Villa Ann, Casa Ida and Casa Joanna offer flexible accommodation options. They can be booked together for larger families and will sleep 10, 6 in the villa and 2 in each of the Apartments (the apartments are not suitable for children) or they can be booked separately.
Please note, if you are only booking an Apartment, then there is no access to the swimming pool. However, the Apartments do have a lovely terrace with table and chairs, sun loungers and BBQ for alfresco dining.
