About this property

Neo Breton Style House In Village Location, Close To Beach/ Pink Granite Coast

Beautiful Breton style house 10 minutes drive from Lannion with it's excellent shops, bars and restaurants and of course the famous large Thursday street market which sprawls through the whole town. Fishing, riding, good walking, cycling, land yachting and sailing are all available in the local area. The headland at Le Yaudet is not only a place of magnificent natural beauty but also an important historical site, with roman celtic remains. In the garage of the house there are 4 bikes (Gents, Ladies and two children's) on which you can explore the countryside. This is a wonderful area and this is a great base from which to explore it. Or of course just sit in the South facing garden and enjoy the peace and quiet with a glass (bottle) or two of wine. The patio outside the patio doors enjoys the sun for the majority of the day and has patio furniture. There are 4 sun beds for use in the garden. A short stroll will take you down to the headland where the Leguer river meets the sea and this has to be on of our favourite views. There are many lovely little paths that lead you around here and down to the very quiet and private little beach. We now have a lovely new creperie/bar in the village run by a lovely young couple from Normandy. Another lovely walk is along the path and towards Locquemeau which gives great views. At the end there are a is a bar and restaurant - Great for Moules Frites! But if you get in the car and explore you will be rewarded with many fine safe and quiet beaches in our little corner of Brittany. I cannot guarantee you sunshine but I can guarantee peace and quiet here in our lovely village
Bookings are Saturday to Saturday in during the summer months but ask about other dates and we may be able to help. In other periods all periods of let are considered. Check in is from 1400 on day of arrival and departure should be by 1000 on day of departure. Towels and bedding can be provided on request.

Lovely relaxing time in Le Yaudet

Had a lovely relaxing time in this super house. House has everything that you need for a super comfy time. The area is beautiful with lots of quiet coves and beaches to explore and lovely small towns and villages. Highly recommended and will certainly be back again very soon

Hope to stay again

A lovely 3 day break in a nice part of France. The house is very well equiped and the modern kitchen is nice to cook in. The dogs loved the garden and the local cove. Visited seveal ports andenjoyed the coastal roads. Hope to stay again. Gerry made the stay easy and it was great value for money.

Wieder eine schöne Woche in Le Yaudet

Aufgrund der guten Erfahrungen im Vorjahr, haben wir wieder eine Woche in dem wunderbaren Haus verbracht und wurden auch diesesmal nicht enttäuscht. Die Ausstattung des Hauses lässt aus unserer Sicht eigentlich keine Wünsche offen und bietet eine sehr gute Basis für entspannte Tage. Die Nähe zur Küste ist auch ein großer Vorteil. Sehr hilfsbereiter Vermieter.

Mooie en goed verzorgde vakantiewoning

De vakantiewoning heeft alle voorzieningen die je tijdens een korte of langere vakantie nodig hebt. Ligt in een rustige omgeving met eigen terras en op loopafstand van zee, strand, bos en landelijk gebied. Een grote supermarkt en andere winkels liggen op 5 autominuten afstand. De gastheer zorgt vooraf dat je al je vragen zijn beantwoord en dat het in orde is.

Gemütliches und ruhig gelegenes Haus

Wir haben zwei schöne Wochen in der Bretagne verbracht. Das Haus liegt sehr ruhig in einer kleinen Siedlung, die unmittelbare Umgebung (Ort, kleiner Strand, Bucht) ist wunderschön und fußläufig erreichbar. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind innerhalb von 10 Minuten mit dem Auto erreichbar. Die Lage des Hauses ist optimal, um die vielen Ausflugsziele der rosa Granitküste zu erreichen.

Maison parfaitement situé à 10 min de Lannion et à 5 min d'un premier super marché. 25 min de Perros Guirec - une magnifique région à visiter. Proche de la mer. départ de randonné à 2 min à pied. Maison très bien entretenue et toute équipée. Idéal pour 6 personnes même pour 8 car il y une 4ème chambres avec un canapé lit en bas. 3 chambres à l'étage spacieuses (bonne literie - grand placard ou armoires dans chaque chambres). Grande pièce de vie avec tout le confort nécessaire - grande cuisine aménagée (lave vaisselle - lave linge...) Grand jardin - maison au calme dans un lotissement

Superbe séjour

La maison est très confortable et fonctionnelle. On peut considérer le bureau avec clic clac, comme une chambre à part entière. Nous y avons dormi pendant les 15 jours et le sommier est de qualité. Cuisine neuve et très bien équipée. Le jardin est parfait pour se relaxer ou déjeuner/dîner dehors Gerry est très disponible, je profite de ce post pour le remercier de sa gentille attention (une bouteille de vin) à notte arrivée. La maison est proche d'une très belle plage et d'autres villes et plages très agréables. Il y a de très belles ballades à faire. Bref, que du bonheur!

Une jolie petite maison

La maison était conforme à notre attente toutefois quelques points négatifs le ménage demande à être plus soigné, toutes les informations sont donnés en anglais, les toilettes à l'étage sanibroilleur ne fonctionnait pas et le lavabo avait beaucoup de mal à s'écouler. Nous n'avions aucun contact en France seule moyen de communication un mail avec le propriétaire en Angleterre nous n'avons donc pas pu utiliser les toilettes de l'étage. Autrement la cuisine est très pratique et bien aquipee la literie est bonne les canapés confortables . Je retournerai avec grand plaisir dans cette jolie maison qui est très bien située.

Vraiment désolé que vous avez eu des problèmes avec les toilettes à l’étage, il n’était pas quelque chose que je ne connaissait et a été causé par les clients précédents, Il est maintenant fixe mais vraiment désolé que cela affecté votre plaisir de ma maison. Vraiment désolé que les instructions sont en anglais, mais ils constituaient la majorité de nos clients, cependant, il est tout à fait Français gens maintenant et les instructions est traduit en français. Il y a trois numéros de téléphone français sur les présentes instructions, mais peut-être que ce n’était pas clair. Serais ravi pour vous de visiter à nouveau, alors peut-être que nous vous voir bientôt. Encore une fois merci beaucoup pour la visite

Our Two Weeks in Ploulec'h

The property is ideal for couples or a larger family. We found everything we needed and the place was clean and modern with a homely feel. Our stay was based around walking and general sightseeing and the location was perfect for our requirements being in a quiet residential area without losing its sense of privacy. We would thoroughly recommend a holiday in this area and especially a stay in this house. Gerry, the owner, was more than helpful with directions and useful information to help us enjoy the facilities on offer in the surrounding area. a really enjoyable trip.

A gem in a very special corner of Britanny

We were completely bowled over by this property. It is obviously used as a main residence by the owner during significant parts of the year as everything from kitchen to living spaces is practical, modern and purposeful without distracting from the breton character of house or location. We ended up using one bedroom per person, simply because we could as a family of four. It is perfect for dog owners as the loop of the GR34 long distance path provides a dpectacular 60-90 minutes walk with a historic keltic harbour bay at its midway point. The next town Lannion, is particularly exiting with its mix of history, culture and quirky tourist charme. It is obviously a living town where you might meet people who are happy to let you try out your french. The spectacular pink granite coast is less than 30 minutes' drive away. It's a place you could use as a base for exploring finistere, but don't have to. Lazing in the garden between barbecues is a perfectly acceptable alternative. It's also foodie heaven with weekly markets all over the place. The butcher in Ploumilliau has arguably the best sausages in the world!

My name is Gerry Shaw and I have owned Milin Awel in Le Yaudet since 2004. As a family we always took our holidays in France and often in Brittany. We loved the area and always dreamed of owning a house there. When the dream came true it was wonderful and now we have extended and improved the house it is even better.The area is so quiet and relaxing that one can forget all about the worries and trials of normal life back in England. Sure you will love the wonderful coastline and beautiful unspoiled beaches as much as we do. Have a great time.

Why they chose this property

When we first saw this house ( a beautiful hot summers afternoon) it was just exactly what we had been looking for. Neo Breton style and with a lovely quiet enclosed garden. We couldn't quite believe that we had found what we had been looking for and have enjoyed it so much ever since. New bathroom put in May 2015 along with new windows and now a brand new kitchen in 2016 where the upper garage once stood. The house now looks better than it ever has and I am really proud of how we have improved it.
