With magnificent views this mountain home really is an amazing place to stay. We loved the shady veranda to sit and eat under during hottest time of day and just gaze at the view. John and Mary were so helpful meeting us on arrival explaining and recommending everything including same fab local restaurants...Big Mamas being a favourite. Plus there is lots of information about the area in the house...very helpful we recommend going to Pinata beach about an hour away, but watch out on the price of using the beach umbrellas/loungers. There are beach mats to borrow in the house but no parasol which is a shame as then wouldn't cost anything.
The pool was immaculately clean but quite cold although it did warm up over the next few days once we took the cover off and it got some sun...so be warned don't jump straight in, on arrival!
We did meet our neighbour Lucia who although speaks not a word of English she invited us into her home for the best coffee we had ever drunk, it was a fun hour trying to maintain some sort of conversation!
Being in the countryside can be quite noisy at times what with dogs barking, chickens clucking, roosters crowing and geese honking from Lucia's but we got used to it....just don't expect a long lie in..but who wants that anyway when the suns shining and that view beckons! We would love to come back again in the future as we have never been so chilled out. Ciao .
