The brochures promise seclusion and tranquility only to find when you arrive that it just isnt what you ordered - well Villa Frene offers you that great location, and more. Set amid open fields and olive groves with the nearest beach just 900 mts away; Villa Frene has everything you will need for that perfect holiday. On hand you have a private walk-in swimming pool, BBQ and dining area, sun bathing terraces, childrens play area with swing and other play items, enough garden for the largest family to run around in and no immediate neighbours to worry about. Tavernas, shops and nightlife are closeby but with no concrete tourist complexes around you, no busy main roads and no noisy restaurants, you will find it hard to do anything else but relax and enjoy the peaceful, pleasant Cypriot way of life.

Excellent stay July 2026. Host was very easy to deal with and easy to contact. the villa was in great location just outside Paphos. Car is required for getting about especially in the summer months. Anna met us at property and showed us round property and gave mobile number for any issues. Pool area is brilliant with large surround, plenty sunbeds and parasols with tables and chairs. Everything in villa you will require for stay. There is some cats round villa which are no issue and with staying in country is a help.Only one thing I would suggest to owners is put a cubicle in the master bedroom ensuite as curtain doesn't work for size of shower.Family had a great holiday and minutes drive away from all Paphos has to offer and only 15mins from airport. Anyone staying has to try one of the best bakers (PAPANTONIOU) I have ever visited in Geroskipou few minutes from villa. not just baker best coffee and fresh deli counter.

We had a fantastic stay at Villa Frene and wouldn't hesitate to return if we visit Paphos.We were in Cyprus for a family wedding but wanted somewhere quieter away from the all-inclusive atmosphere, and Villa Frene was the perfect choice. Set in a peaceful location, it offers plenty of privacy while still being within easy reach of Paphos.The hosts were wonderful, friendly, welcoming and always happy to help. The villa is spacious, well-equipped and fully air-conditioned, with a Smart TV for relaxing evenings. Air conditioning is charged separately at 5 per day per bedroom or 10 per day for the lounge.A rental car is definitely recommended as the villa is in a more remote setting, making it much easier to reach shops, restaurants and local attractions. Taxis are available if you don't want to drive, although we found they could sometimes take a little while to arrive because of the villa's location.The resident cats were a real highlight and became part of our holiday. It's worth remembering it's their home, so if you have cat allergies or aren't a cat person, bear that in mind.Some furniture is beginning to show its age, but it didn't affect our stay. I also personally prefer having a safe for passports and valuables when travelling abroad. The villa doesn't have one, but that's simply a personal preference rather than a criticism.Overall, Villa Frene offers excellent value, lots of space and genuinely welcoming hosts. We'd happily stay here again.

Our 2nd stay here, will definitely be back again.Amazing slightly rural location which means the kids can make as much noise as they want.3 mins drive to the beach with an amazing bar.10mins drive to the harbour and cheap enough in a taxi or bolt.Host is Amazing too and very responsive.Thanks again for a nother fab holiday.

Spacious property and hosts are fantastic meeting and greeting us late at night. Gardens are lovely with lots of fruit trees (mandarins, pears, Pomellis etc.) which you can pick and eat in season. Field behind us had an irrigation machine going for the first two days including through the night which bothered one guest a lot and in the early morning there were intermittent bangs (like shotguns) to scare the birds, however we quickly got used to it and they became less frequent as the week progressed.

Impressive and perfect villa for our multi-generational family of 8. Visited for a family wedding and the proximity to Paphos and the airport was ideal - close enough to the action without the stress and city noise! The villa was a great size and the downstairs bedrooms and bathroom perfect for our older guests. We loved the resident cats and the mischievous kittens kept us on our toes with their playful antics! Feeding time was fun and the owners kept us topped up with cat food!! It really made us feel relaxed and at home. If you don’t mind a bit of farmyard noise ( cockerel, donkey, bird scarer ) this place is peaceful and perfect, as it is not overlooked and has farmland all around. We absolutely loved it and would definitely visit again if we come back to Cyprus. Thank you so much - we had a ball!!

Die Villa entspricht genau der Darstellung im Internet. Sie liegt inmitten von Feldern und ist gut ausgestattet. Der Pool ist ein sehr schön und kaum einsehbar. Das Meer ist fußläufig in ca. 10-15 Minuten zu erreichen. Im Garten gab es 3 kleine Kätzchen, die wir sehr gerne versorgt haben. Morgens kann es durch Hundegebell und Hahnengeschrei laut werden, was uns aber nicht weiter gestört hat. Konstantinos und Anna sind wahnsinnig zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Als z.B. das WLAN nicht ging, kam am gleichen Tag der Techniker. Danke für diese schöne Zeit auf Zypern.

Had a lovely fortnight here. The hosts were helpful and friendly, meeting us when we arrived and quick to answer questions during the week via WhatsApp. The pool was ideal and well maintained. The bedrooms were fairly comfortable and the kitchen had just enough pots and pens to enable us (9 of us) to self-cater for much of the stay. Resident cats were no problem! Air-conditioning in the bedrooms is an extra cost, payable in cash on arrival, which was definitely worth it in the height of summer. Location is perfect with a car - quiet yet within easy, short drives to the shops, beach, sights, water park etc.

Highly recommend

We just arrived home after a 10 night stay at Villa Frene, from the start we had a great time. Anna and Kostas were there to greet us on arrival and show us around the villa and explain anything we needed to know. Throughout our stay we only had one issue with the WiFi, but Anna sorted this within minutes! Villa is exactly as described and pictured in listing and we were not disappointed. We would certainly recommendd a visit here!

Villa frene

Hosts were fantastic and very accommodating especially as we were late on arrival. Also came back to sort us out with air con when we required. Villa is a fabulous size. We were a family of 8 and had plenty of space and seating to suit. The pool area is faultless with plenty of loungers and pool was cleaned 2x per week. Also raftan seating with canopy providing plenty of shade looking onto pool. Water pressure in showers is great with constant hot water. Shower at pool also to rinse off. It is a great location as you are away from the hustle and bustle with Paphos only a 10 min drive and plenty of restaurants, bars and shops within 10mins drive. There are 3 cats that frequent the villa and are very friendly. They did not enter the house or cause any problems. My daughter loved them and the hosts left food to feed them. Teenagers were able to log onto Netflix on the tv in lounge which was a bonus for them at night. A great experience and holiday and would definitely return and recommend Villa Frene

A wonderful stay!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful villa! Anna and Kostas were fantastic hosts, communication was easy and they made everything seamless from start to finish. The home itself is spacious and perfect for families, with a stunning garden with apricot trees and a large, inviting pool. It’s located just a short drive from a village and all the restaurants and sights of Paphos. This was the perfect spot for our family getaway, and we would absolutely love to return!

Beautiful villa but some areas need up dating . Definitely need a car/ taxi. Some disturbance at night due to wildlife but you are in a very secluded area . Excellent communication and very helpful

Perfect family holiday

We recently visited in the Easter Holidays with the family. The hosts were fantastic, communication was a pleasure. The Villa was spacious and clean and provided everything we needed. It was peaceful and quiet with no over looking neighbours. Close to the beach and a short drive to paphos. For those who like walking it was a great walk to paphos along the coast line.We will definitely be returning at some point.Highly recommended.

Villa Frenetic is great!

We loved the villa so much. We had three generations, total ten family members, and everyone agreed the home was perfect for us. It’s just a short drive to restaurants, markets, beach and other activities, and we also enjoyed the walks. The kitchen had everything we needed, having 5 bedrooms was great and 3 bathrooms was a bonus. We only had a couple questions/needs and Anna and Kostas responded and helped right away. Lovely people, and a pretty country-like setting while close in to town.

Villa Frene

The villa is stunning, the grounds and pool area are amazing. However, the inside cleanliness, dated furniture, kitchen utensils, lack of hot water left us very dissapointed. There was only s pans in the kitchen to cook with, the microwave didn't work, it started up but wouldn't heat up. One of the downstairs bedrooms had mould on the wall and wouldn't be bale to be slept in. The passegway had plaster hanging of of the wall. We couldn't get hot water in the mornings as the night before was cold and the switch to overide in the master bedroom didn't appear to do anything. The curtains in the sitting room had holes in the bottom, the sofa is quite tatty. This villa could be absolutely amazing if it was updated.

Villa Frene

Very nice house off the beaten track, without the hustle and bustle of the city. You can really relax and enjoy your holiday. With a car everything is relatively close. Because this is an agricultural area, you have to take into account the possible sounds of the village - dogs barking in the morning, donkeys neighing, roosters, a working irrigation system unit, etc. This is not a disadvantage, it is the charm of the village, but I am writing about it so that you are fully aware when deciding on a villa in such an area. The hosts are really nice and you can discuss everything with them. One minor note: it's a pity that the information about the extra paid air conditioning is not more exposed. We are really happy with this place and recommend it to everyone!!!

Hidden Gem !

Beautiful villa located in the countryside just a short walk to the beach and short drive into Paphos. All ammenities catered for, large gardens, beautiful pool, very spacious rooms within the villa. Perfect, relaxing retreat. Costas and Anna are the perfect hosts.. we will definitely miss this hidden gem.

Had a lovely stay

Great villa with a beautiful pool area. The villa has 2 house cats, the cats are friendly but do want to sit near you on the patio, I am not cat friendly so I didn’t like this. Ants in the kitchen are a problem, on the work tops. This needs addressing. Whilst we have stayed here we have experienced several power cuts causing the alarm to go off. Sometimes in the middle of the night, Anna the host believes this to be because of the heat. This may have been true but we was losing powder in the villa 3/4 times a day every day. This was a problem. The rooms was a good size, comfortable, clean. The villa is dated but for the money we paid I found it very good value for money. I would mention that more toilet rolls & bathroom towels would be beneficial as we run out of toilet rolls and 1 towel per person for a week isn’t really good. Overall we had an amazing stay in the villa.

We are Anna and Kostas and we are the owners of villa frene. I am from cyprus and my husband is from Greece and we leave in cyprus. We are a young couple with 3 children a son 13 years old, 2 twin girls 7 years and a cat 1 years old. We both work here in Paphos and our free time we spend it with our children who we love very much.

Why they chose this property

We haven't bought our villa, we had the land in Yeroskipou and we builded the villa as an investment. We cannot leave in it for the moment so we decided to rent it and give other people the opportunity to enjoy it. The area is ideal because is near the town about 5 minutes away and the airport which is 15 minutes away. Is a very quiet area and is near the beach.

What makes this property unique

When you stay in villa Frene you have the benefit of the quiet area near the town and the tourist area. The town and the tourist area is 5 minutes away with a car about 5 km. Restaurants and bars you can find the nearest by the closest beach which is 800 meters away. The villa is builded in a 1500 square meters with a big garden with olive trees and other fruit trees. There is a play area in the garden with swings and games for the children. A spacious swimming pool and pool area with sunbeds, umbrellas garden furniture and a bbq. In the area around the villa you can also find the water park, the paintball, a mini golf, go karts and a Luna park with all sorts of games for children.
