About this property

Agatha Ocean & montain view villa, with a private swimming pool recently upgraded with modern Kitchen, comprising 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, dining area, setting lounge, laundry room and a private large terrace all on 1 floor. It is situated just by the sea front, in madalena do mar one of the warmest village of madeira. The fully equipped open plan kitchen has a microwave, fridge/freezer, toaster, coffee maker, kettle, dishwasher and granite work top.The spacious open plan lounge has big windows, large patio doors gives access to the terrace with table and chairs where you can sunbathe, or enjoy a meal with a ocean view, stunning sunsets everyday, hillside of Arco Calheta and you will be surrounded with banana plantation.
The master bedroom has it own bathroom, fitted wardrobe and a large glass patio glass doors with access directly on to balconies
The other double bed bedroom also with exit to the balcony and a fantastic view to waken up to every morning,
The bedroom with twin beds, has it own window, fitted wardrobe, chair unit and mirror.
We are staying on site and will be there to welcome you and giving a high standard accommodation and information on what Madeira has to offer.

Family holiday

Property is very nice - no surprises and is well managed. Location is by the sea but as a beach it was too windy and the seas were fairly rough so we found it best to use the pool area at the rear of the house and relax there. It was very private and the pool heating was definitely a bonus as it was early season and cool-ish outside most days.

Hervorragende Lage!

Tolles Haus in einer einzigartigen Lage zwischen Ozean und Bergen! Nachts hört man die Brandung des Meeres, die selbst die Geräusche der Straße übertönt. Wenn man Madeira überall auf der Insel erkunden möchte, ist Madalena do Mar ein guter Ausgangspunkt. (Man benötigt natürlich einen Mietwagen o.ä.) Die Kommunikation mit Agatha war hervorragend; sowohl vor dem Urlaub als auch während unseres Aufenthaltes war sie stets erreichbar und immer überaus freundlich. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt

Tolle Lage. Wunderschönes Haus. Tolle Lage und Gastgeberin. Phantastisch.

An amazing place! Beautiful views, perfect cleanliness, complete equipment - everything you need to spend 15 days in Madeira in a very pleasant way. Perfect location, only half an hour to Funchal. Agatha provided a lot of helpful information, took care of everything and reacted immediately - thank you very much. She spoiled us with delicious fruits and a yummie cake as a welcome. The view from the terrace looking out to the sea is stunning! A wonderful place to spend a relaxing time and have barbecues while watching the sunset. We love this stylish and cosy house. Perfect for enjoy slow days in this gorgeous island, avoiding the crowded and a little bit chaotic Funchal, but at the same time so close to it. The villa is much better than any five star hotel, the owners have put so much effort into everything and which also shows in many details that make you feel like in your own home: superb cookware, softy towels and bed linen, comfy queen beds and pillows. Everything was perfect during our stay, we'll miss this place...

Ein Ort, wie es nicht viele gibt auf Madeira

Nachdem wir eine recht strapaziöse Landung auf Madeira hatten, haben wir uns ein pefektes zu Hause gewünscht. Dieses wurde uns propt auch nahezu erfüllt. Wir wurden von der Eigentümerin sehr herzlich empfangen und staunten nicht schlecht auf die sehr luxeriös ausgestattete Wohnung. Uns fehlte von Begin an nichts. Perfekt passend hierzu hatte uns die Eigentümerin einen Willkommenskuchen gebacken - super lecker und nicht zu süß :-). Die Wohnung selber war sauber und ordentlich. Ein pingeliger Mensch findet allerdings immer was. Die Lage der Wohnung war exakt wie beschrieben - nur ein paar Schritte und man war am Strand. Dieser bestand wie typisch auf Madeira aus großen und kleinen, jedoch rund geschliffenen Steinen - nichts scharfkantiges. Alles sauber und sehr gut präpariert zum Sonnenbaden. Wer ins Wasser will, sollte sich fest am Fuß sitzende Badeschuhe mitbringen. Der weitere Kontakt zum Vermieter war freundlich, fast freundschaftlich und nie aufdringlich. Super nett. Die Lage ist perfekt, um schnell in die südlichen Regionen der Insel zu gelangen. Solltet Ihr die Insel jedoch richtig kennen lernen wollen und natürlich auch Serpetinen scheuen, dann schaltet Euer Navi auf "Autobahnen meiden" ein, sonst verkümmert die Reise schnell zu einem "Tunnel-Trip". Zur Insel selber: Die Insel ist wunderschön, insbesondere der wildromatische Norden hat es uns angetan. Zum wandern perfekt. Schaut Euch Funschal an, die wunderschönen Gärten wie zum Beispiel den Tropischen Garten und dann ab in die Natur. Nochmal abschließend zur Wohnung: Wir haben es jeden Tag genossen auf der wunderbaren Terasse zu sitzen, dem Sonnenuntergang zu bestaunen und die Sturmvögel plappern zu hören. Auf der Straße vor dem Haus wurdes es etwas lauter, doch Nachts hat man immer die nötige Ruhe gefunden. Wunderbarer Ort um Urlaub zu machen. Happy holidays at Ocean villa

We were very welcomed by the owners, the house was in immaculately clean, home made cake, wine and fruits were on the table. The attitude was fantastic! We were treated with organic eggs and bananas, kids were welcomed and we all had a fantastic time!
