Ancient and beautiful villa with private pool in Cortona countryside

Our beautiful house is in a quiet valley in the Cortona's countryside, without urban or industrial areas nearby. The entire property (approximately 1.500 square meters), with garden, park area and swimming pool is fenced and there are not other houses nearby, so you have all the privacy that you deserve for your vacation. The villa is between Tuscany and Umbria: you can reach Cortona's centre in less than 30 minutes by car; in approximately 60 minutes you can reach a lot of beautiful places like Arezzo, Montepulciano, Siena, Perugia, Trasimeno lake, Assisi and many others.

The house is an original - and very ancient - farmhouse where we have preserved floors, wooden beans and other details, as the the stairs that connects first and second floor; the stairs are steep so children and aged people must be careful. The house is not suitable for people with mobility problems. We have a quite fast (satellitar) WiFi in the house and a tv with parabola.

The apartment is located at the first and second floor (check the planimetry in photo for details). At the first floor there are a spacious living room with two sofa and an ancient fireplace; the kitchen is fully equipped with a dining room table for eight people, dishwasher, an electric-microwave oven, fridge, coffee machine and so on. At the first floor there are also a spacious bedroom and a full bathroom with a washing machine. At the second floor there are two bedrooms and a full bathroom. The ground floor is closed because we have to renovate it in the future.

Outside you can enjoy a very large garden, a pergola with a dining table, deck chairs and a barbecue. The swimming pool is equipped with sun beds, beach towels, tables and beach umbrellas. Mercatale di Cortona is the nearest village (three km from the villa) where you can find a supermarket, butchers, a pharmacy, a post office, a gas station (H24), two Atm, a bakery, and other services. In 15-20 minutes you can also find several restaurants.
