A house in the middle of a large garden consists of a multisport field (tennis, volleyball, badminton), a petanque and a pool with pool house and barbecue. It is ideal for 2 or 3 families thanks to many varied rooms and outdoor areas allowing everyone a rest and have fun. The shops are within walking distance: carrefour market has 300metres, and a bakery, a restaurant, a cafe. Behind the house leave trails ATV ideales for jogging or walks. The village of Valbonne is a 3-minute drive, and nearby Biot (10 minutes). The beaches of Antibes, Cannes and Theoule sur Mer are 15 kilometers away, but also the villages of Gourdon and Saint Paul de Vence. This house is ideally located between sea and mountains, in the heart of a secure area that will allow you to spend a great holiday with family and friends.

Fabulous facilities outdoors for the most sporty of families

We had children from age 5 to 17 with us all absolutely loved the lovely pool and the tennis, as did the adults. Beautiful grounds and lovely little villages all around to visit.

No need to leave the house

The outside property was very nice with enough shadow. The children played in the pool. Also the youngest of three had a great time in the pool, he played on the steps in the pool. It was very hot the last days and the bedrooms were very hot too, especially on the second floor.

Perfect!

Prior to going I had a few issues with Vrbo's booking service however both Vrbo and the host were most helpful in sorting the issue. I had some correspondence with the host prior to arriving, she was prompt and helpful with replies. I was met at the property by the hosts friend this was perfectly adequate. The outside area including the pool is stunning. Inside was good with comfy beds, and plenty of room for our families to chill and relax. We would all definitely come back to the hosts home, it's located well and close to all amenities and areas of interest. To provide feedback I would say that the outside furniture could be updated.The bedrooms, upstairs got really hot ( host provided plenty of fans) Cooking facilities are on the small side to cater for 2 or 3 families- not that this upset our holiday as we ate out frequently Again, I would say that the home was lovely!!

Valbonne

We had an amazing 2 week holiday in Valbonne. We were a party of 9 – aged from 8 to 50 – and found the house was a perfect size for us all. The house and surrounding garden/grounds are just beautiful. The pool is a great size and depth for all ages and the football/badminton court was a hit with the children too. We had pretty much all you need in the house for a comfortable self-catering holiday. There was a large supermarket and bakery only a 5 min walk (max) away which was super convenient. We had a few days out to local towns – Grasse, Biot, Antibes and Valbonne – which were all very beautiful and easy to get to. Carole was lovely and super communicative. She quickly answered all questions we had before and during our stay and sent us local recommendations that we asked about. The outdoor furniture and kitchen utensils were a little dated and worn in places but there was plenty to use. The bedrooms were a pretty hot – especially at night. The fans provided helped but perhaps more powerful ones would have been better. Overall we had a fabulous time and wouldn’t hesitate going back!

La Villa était sale à notre arrivée, odeur d’urine de chat dans tout l’étage, lave-linge rempli et sale, brosses de toilette usagée , pièce « TV » avec canapé rempli poils de chat et l’odeur qui l’accompagne etc... La propriétaire nous avait demandé de nourrir son chat lors de notre séjour ce que nous avons accepté avec plaisir mais le chat en question nous réveillait en pleine nuit en grattant aux portes ou en hurlant devant la porte d’entrée… Robot de la piscine en panne, mobilier extérieur vétuste, pas de micro-onde , pas de ventilateur . Une compensation financière a été proposé par la propriétaire pour tous les désagréments….mais celle-ci a pour seule valeur le mérite d’exister puisque qu’elle était tout à fait ridicule !

Je suis très surprise de ces retours, dans la mesure ou nous avons communiqué régulièrement durant votre séjour et vous n'avez jamais semblé mécontent, ni n'avez fait de remarque sur l'ensemble de ces points. Vous le savez, j'aurais immédiatement réagi si vous m'en aviez fait part. Qq réponses ici néanmoins qui pourront être utiles : le robot de la piscine a été réparé durant votre séjour, sachant qu'à aucun moment la piscine n'a été sale, un pisciniste venant chaque semaine pour l'entretien. Un robot de piscine n'est qu'un confort supplémentaire dont l'absence ne nuit pas à la propreté. Concernant le ménage, il a été effectué de fond en comble, comme avant chaque arrivée. Sols, frigos, etc. Il est possible que des poils aient été oubliés dans la rainure du canapé et nous nous en excusons. Au sujet du chat, c'est la 1ere fois que je suis face à cette attitude de sa part. Il y a pourtant une chatiere dans la maison qu'elle utilise au quotidien sans problème. Je suis désolée si elle a pu vous réveiller. Mobilier de jardin : certains sont vétustes mais fonctionnels, en teck et avec de nouveaux matelas. Il y a aussi 5 transats achetés il y a 1 an. De quoi se réunir à plus de 15 personnes. Sans parler du jardin vaste et fleuri disposant de nombreux lieux de repos. Quoi qu'il en soit, je vous ai proposé une compensation financière le jour de votre départ, compensation que vous avez accepté. Me concernant, je n'ai pas l'habitude de critiquer par la suite si un accord a été trouvé, les parties étant quittes et le sujet supposé réglé. J'espère néanmoins que vos prochaines vacances seront à la hauteur de vos attentes.

Nous avons passé une très agréable semaine dans cette propriété. Carole a été très réactive pour répondre à toutes nos questions et les explications étaient claires. Nous avons été accueillis chaleureusement par la femme de ménage elle aussi très sympathique. La propriété est belle et bien située, tous les équipements nécessaires s'y trouvaient et le rez de chaussée est resté frais malgré les fortes chaleurs. Lors de prochaines vacances dans les Alpes Maritimes nous choisirions à nouveau cette villa sans aucun doute.

Charming house, great outdoor facilities and the best host

We (5 kids and 5 adults) spent 10 days in the house and enjoyed every moment. You really need to work hard to get your kids to leave the house and the surrounding outdoor facilities - because everything is right there for them: Football, tennis, volleyball, pool, petanque, lots of space - in and out - table football etc. Everything is well kept with lemon trees, flowers in all colors and a nice lawn. The pool is big and good for both kids and adults. Inside the house is kept in a very charming style and with nice big rooms and several bathrooms. On the top of this we had a really good dialogue with Carole before, during and after our stay. Close to the house (5 minutes walking) there is a huge Carrefour, a nice baker, a pharmacy and other small shops. With only 10 minutes in a car you can go to either Valbonne or Biot (classical small villages with nice atmosphere), 20 minutes you are in Antibes or Cannes and 30 minutes you are in Nice or Grasse. We can highly recommend a holiday in this wonderful house.
