The apartment is situated in the Garajau village, with an amazing view to the Atlantic Ocean. To enjoy the mild climate of Madeira island, you can enjoy the sun and the sea view relaxing at the sunbeds at the apartment terrace. With the advantage of having everything you need at a walking distance, you have also a bus stop nearby to go easily to Funchal city centre, in one direction, and to Caniço de Baixo in the opposite direction. Despite being in a quite place you have also nearby coffee shops, supermarket, bank, pharmacy, fruit grocery, bakery and restaurants, everything less then 5 minutes walking. 10 minutes walking down you have the Garajau viewpoint and the beach.

We loved sitting out on the balcony….watching sunrises and sunsets..and sea trafficOur hostess arranged taxis to and from airport…abridagoUnit was very comfortable…

Everything was great. The best part of this property is easily the host who goes out of her way to accommodate guests and responds so quickly no matter the situation. She is the best!Apartment is very clean. The only things missing for me were oven mitts or potholders and possibly a better mattress in the bedroom. The duvet however, was incredibly puffy and cosy. The listing said we had a hot tob and it is in fact a regular tub. No issue at all but this was just listed incorrectly. The hot water was always available on demand, the location is quiet and everything is convenient.

I'm happy you enjoyed your stay in my apartment so much! It was a pleasure welcome you here! I will take a look on things you mentioned that can be improved. However, mattress is new, so maybe you would prefer a softer one. There is no hot tub in the apartment (only a normal bath) so it was a mistake in the apartment description. I don't know what do you mean by "hot water on demand". There is always hot water when you open the hot water tap... I hope you can visit us again in the future!

Wunderschöne Unterkunft mit sehr guter Lage

Die Wohnung ist sehr zu empfehlen. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt! Es ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet und mit traumhaften Blick auf das Meer aus jedem Zimmer. Die Lage ist sehr gut, fußläufig gibt es einen kleinen Supermarkt, einen Obstladen, mehrere Restaurant und Bars. Wir haben von der Gastgeberin Empfehlungen geschickt bekommen, das war sehr hilfreich! Bei Fragen oder Problemen war die Gastgeberin sofort erreichbar und hat mit Tipps und Anleitungen schnelle Hilfe gegeben. Die Wohnung hat alles was man für den täglichen Gebrauch haben sollte. Auch die Anbindung an die Autobahn ist sehr gut. Man ist schnell am Strand (Praia do Garajau), in Funchal und am Flughafen und trotzdem ist das die Wohnung sehr ruhig gelegen. Wir werden Madeira aufjedenfall nochmal besuchen und wieder diese wunderbare Wohnung mieten.

Sauber und perfekt ausgestattet

Die Wohnung ist hervorragend ausgestattet mit allem was man braucht. Dank des starken Windes auf der Insel braucht man auch an heißen Tagen keine Klimaanlage - in der Wohnung blieb die Temperatur trotz einer Hitzewelle sehr angenehm. Nyara war bei Fragen immer erreichbar und hatte sehr hilfreiche Tipps. Das Internet in der Wohnung ist zuverlässig und blitzschnell. Direkt vor dem Haus ist ein Bushaltestelle, von der man mehrmals am Tag nach Funchal oder Canico de Baixo kommt. Für einen entspannten Aufenthalt würde ich aber trotzdem immer einen Mietwagen empfehlen.

Very nice place in a very nice island. What a beautiful view and the home owner is very helpful. The flat is very clean. Perhaps replace the TV for a new one ;) (but it doesn't matter the view is a giant screen ;) )
