"LA DUNA" is located in the center of El MĂšdano, only 2 minutes walk to the beach (Playa Chica), supermarket and restaurants - and yet it is quiet. The absolute highlight is the private hot tub on the roof terrace, with sun loungers and dining table which invites for having breakfast in the sun.
The roof terrace offers sunshine from morning to evening.
LA DUNA" is furnished in a Mediterranean style with great attention to detail.
The holiday home offers a modern, American kitchen as well as a cozy living and dining area a sleeping room and a private garage place. The living room is equipped with a large flat screen TV, high speed internet a DVD player and a streaming player. The living area and the bedroom overlook the terrace. From here, a spiral staircase leads to your private oasis of peace - the large sunny roof terrace, with a heated hot tub, a shower, sun loungers and a large dining area.
The apartment is fully equipped, including towels, beach towels and bed linen .
"LA DUNA" is on the top floor, overlooking the El Teide volcano. An elevator takes you directly from the garage to the front door of the apartment.
The beautiful sandy beach that stretches from the village to Montaña Roja is only a 2-minute walk away.
Despite the exceptional bathing and water sports conditions, El Médano still has the character of a Spanish village, with cozy cafés by the sea, small bars with Canarian tapas, excellent seafood and fresh fish dishes.
You will be amazed by the warm Canarian atmosphere.

Great apartment

We loved our week here in a great location right in town so close to restaurants etc. Having a parking space under the building, with a lift from there direct to our front door was also extremely convenient! Thanks Susanne for the wine, water and cookies on arrival! Like all rentals the world over (!) there were not enough sockets in the kitchen and the light switches never seem to control the nearest lamp! But these are very minor things. The bed was comfy, but very strange to have two single duvets? The roof terrace was lovely, accessed by a cute spiral staircase, and we used the hot tub a few times - though on windy days it was quite chilly. The little terrace downstairs with table/chairs was also nice but did not get the sun much in February. El Medano is a great little town. Many thanks for a lovely stay.

Our holiday in a lovely Spanish town in El Medano.

We had a fantastic holiday here in El Medano. We enjoyed exploring the town and venturing out on some fabulous walks. The beaches are amazing and kept clean and tidy. We loved the choices of restaurants, cafes and bars. The apartment was perfect. The outdoor space on the roof terrace was a real bonus. Suzanne made regular contact with us and gave us very clear instructions and all the information we needed. I would definitely recommend this apartment and would love to return in the near future.

A relaxing and very enjoyable holiday!

We had a great week in El Medano. The apartment us exactly as described,. We enjoyed relaxing in the sun on the private roof terrace in the day, and choosing which restaurant for dinner each evening. Location is amazing. Great supermarket 2 mins walk. A number of cool cafes and bars too. Excellent communications with Susanne throughout. Highly recommended and we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again in the future.

The apartment was perfect, a tight spiral staircase to the roof terrace with a table and loungers and of course the hot tub El Medano was lovely, a good relaxed feel to the place. Whether it’s pizza or or something more local look to the back roads for a nice dinner Susanne was brilliant, able to give us ideas for things to do and was super responsive to any questions

Friendly El Medano

Our hosts, Susanne&Thomas, are probably the best on the island and the holiday apartment is brilliantly situated, about 3 minutes from anything, supermarket, buses, beaches & restaurant. The bathroom & kitchen great. If you’re quite agile and a bit younger than we are (spiral staircase up to terrace) and also a wind surfer, this might well be your ideal holiday home. The situation near the airport makes El MĂ©dano easy to get to, but depending on wind direction, naturally also makes for aircraft noise. El Medano is an extremely friendly place, with an excellent tourist office, and we loved our holiday there.

The apartment was great in the centre of El Medano that is what I love about it

Susanne apartment was fantastic it had everything we needed and it was lovely and clean .Susanne was on the end off a phone if any thing was wrong .and she picked us up from the airport which was so nice also the hot tub on the roof top terrace was so relaxing after a day out . Susanne I will be booking again in the near further. We both had a fantastic time .

Zwei Wochen gingen mal wieder viel zu schnell um... Insbesondere die sonnige Dachterrasse trug dazu bei und bei zu viel Wind der kleine gemĂŒtliche Balkon. Die Wohnung ist wirklich super ausgestattet, vor allem die KĂŒche. Als sehr praktisch haben wir auch den Parkplatz in der Tiefgarage empfunden. An- und Abreise war sehr flexibel und auch die Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin super! Gerne wieder!

Simply outstanding property in El Medano

I have rented many properties but this one is certainly one of the best ever. It has everything you will need including a private roof terrace with a superb hot tub. If you're thinking of El Medano, I believe this apartment is probably the best you will find in town.

Traumhaftes Apartment auf wunderschöner Insel

Dieses schöne Apartment in El Medano können wir uneingeschrĂ€nkt weiterempfehlen. Das Highlight ist sicher die schöne Dachterrasse mit dem Whirlpool. Aber auch die darunterliegenden WohnrĂ€ume sind sehr gerĂ€umig und schön eingerichtet. Die KĂŒche ist sehr gut ausgestattet und es fehlt an nichts. Der kleinere windgeschĂŒtzte Balkon lĂ€dt zu einem gemĂŒtlichen FrĂŒhstĂŒck ein. Die Vermieterin Susanne ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Besonders der Tip zum Whale Watching mit dem Katamaran Bonadea II war toll. Wir hatten fĂŒr die gesamte Aufenthaltszeit einen Mietwagen und konnten somit die Insel nach Belieben erkunden. Ein Stellplatz in der Tiefgarage und ein Aufzug zur Wohnung ist ebenfalls vorhanden. Top!. Die Strandpromenade mit vielen Restaurants und Bars, sowie SupermĂ€rkte fĂŒr den Einkauf sind binnen weniger Gehminuten zu erreichen. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen. Heiner & Rita

We both had the most amazing stay at this beautiful apartment. The apartment was well equipped with everything that we needed and more. The location was perfect for us, near our favourite beach, shops and restaurants. We spent a lot of time sitting in the sun relaxing on the roof top terrace, cooling off with the shower and chillaxing in the hot tub. Sitting and reading on the cute balcony off the lounge and bedroom reading and drinking coffee or the odd glass of wine. Susanne our lovely host picked us up and dropped us off at the airport which was lovely of her and added to a stress free trip away. We will definitely be back to stay and would recommend this lovely apartment to everyone. Thank you for having us Susanne.

This is the second time we have stayed in Susanne's apartment and we will be back! The apartment is very clean and spacious for two people. The roof terrace is completely private and the hot tub is a bonus. El Medano is a lovely small resort with some good restaurants, cafes and bars, and a lovely little board walk, within 5 minutes walk from the apartment. Susanne is very helpful and accommodating.

Traumhafte Wohnung

Wir waren im Februar 2019 in El Medano. Die Wohnung ist sehr gut gelegen. Den Strand, Restaurants und einen gut sortierten Supermarkt erreicht man zu Fuß in weniger als 5 Minuten. Unser persönliches Highlight im der Wohnung war die Dachterrasse mitsamt des Whirlpools. Was uns aufgrund der Parkplatzsituation vor Ort jedoch auch sehr gut gefallen hat, war der Tiefgaragenstellplatz, der ebenfalls zur Wohnung gehört. Dass es keine SpĂŒlmaschine gibt hat uns nicht weiter gestört. Insgesamt ist die Wohnung sehr gut eingerichtet und ausgestattet. Der Kontakt mit Susanne (Vermieterin) war jederzeit gut und wenn wir eine Frage hatten (z.B. auch zu Ausflugszielen auf Teneriffa) haben wir immer zeitnah eine Antwort erhalten. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Wunderschönes Appartement in El Médano!

Wir hatten einen tollen Kurzurlaub in diesem Appartement. Es ist zentral im Ort gelegen, in unmittelbarer NĂ€he gibt es viele Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants. Zum Strand sind es nur ein paar Meter. Das Appartement selbst ist schön eingerichtet und wirklich top ausgestattet. Es ist alles vorhanden und man muss eigentlich nichts mitbringen, die KĂŒche hatte alles was man benötigt und es waren sogar viele GewĂŒrze im Schrank. Alles war sehr sauber und die Betten und das Sofa waren bequem. Absolutes Highlight ist mit Sicherheit der Whirlpool auf der Dachterrasse, vor allem perfekt an etwas kĂŒhleren Tagen. Super nett war auch, dass die Vermieterin Susanne uns vom Flughafen abholte und uns am Abreisetag auch wieder hinfuhr. Alles in allem war der Aufenthalt sehr unkompliziert und wir sind uns sicher, dass wir bald mal wiederkommen werden. Hat uns super gut gefallen dort.
