Situated on the Wild Atlantic Way, on the outskirts of Cahersiveen town, The Waterfront offers great space and comfort. This impressive property enjoys spectacular views of the Fertha River Estuary and surrounding mountains. The living room boasts panoramic views of the constantly changing sea and mountain landscape, a perfect place to relax and unwind after a day exploring this beautiful part of Kerry.
This modern property has five large bedrooms two of which are en suite and two bathrooms. The bright and spacious living room has a solid fuel burning stove. The modern kitchen with adjoining utility room and dining room are fully equipped with plenty of storage space.
Outside is ample off road parking, private enclosed lawned garden and picnic area.
Amenities: Oil central heating with woodburner. Electric oven and gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, TV with Saorview, DVD, WiFi, selection of books, games and DVDs. Bed linen and towels included in rent, also starter pack for fire.
The town of Cahersiveen boasts wonderful seafood restaurants, coffee shops and pubs with traditional music.
The local area has spectacular Blue Flag beaches - The White Strand (5km), Kells (10km), Ballinskelligs (15km).
Activities available locally : hill walking, cycling (bikes available for hire in Cahersiveen), swimming, water sports, golf, horse riding, angling, clay pigeon shooting, Beentee Loop Walk, Cnoc na dTobar mountain climb, archealogical sites Cahergeal and Leacnabuaile stone forts, Ballycarbery Castle.
Recommended: Trip to the Skellig Rock a once in a lifetime experience to visit a monastic settlement that is a UNESCO heritage site and location of recent Star Wars films, boats leave Portmagee daily weather permitting. Ferry to Valentia Island which offers a Slate Quarry, Grotto, Light House or try candle making and sea trampolining with the kids. Visit The Skellig Chocolate factory in St. Finans Bay (The Glen) and sample their award winning chocolate. Visit Kells Bay House and Gardens.Tour the Skellig Ring and the Ring of Kerry.
