This spacious country house awaits you in a quiet environment where the whole family can have peaceful and tranquil holiday.
There are small towns nearby - Malestroit, Serent,Rochefort en terre, Josselin, 25 minutes from Vannes of the Gulf of Morbihan and its beaches, the forest of Brocéliande, and near to the canal from Nantes to Brest canal
The house is Situated in its own grounds with a large enclosed garden and patio area with BBQ. Garage with badminton set, body boards, loungers and 8 adult bikes for use including 2 children’s bikes. Driveway for 2 / 3 cars.
House -Ground floor comprises of a well equipped ,large traditional Kitchen with a dishwasher, electric cooker with ceramic hob and fan assisted oven. Large lounge ( free WiFi and Cable TV) and dining area with patio doors leading to the garden. Utility room with washing machine and downstairs bathroom with bath/shower and toilet. Wooden stairs lead to the second floor with 2 bedrooms, shower room and toilet. In the second bedroom stairs lead to a 3rd bedroom with twin beds and a mezzanine with a double sofa bed. All bed linen and towels provided.
We welcome up to 2 dogs to stay for a small fee but sorry no cats.

Relaxing stay and lovely setting

The whole family enjoyed our stay. The setting and local people in the hamlet are lovely. Very friendly and polite. Lots of great places to visit in this part of Brittany with the Vannes beaches 30 to 40 minutes away. Good owner support with prompt responses to the issue we needed help with. Thank you. Highly recommended.

Our summer holiday

A beautifully set property with easy access to local villages and towns. A great base for a lovely holiday. The garden was lovely with plenty of space for games, meals and sunbathing, whilst the house was comfortable, clean and contained everything an extended family needed, from bicycles to snail pins (which we did use). Local supermarkets were well stocked with lots of fresh fish and produce and the local patisserie in Serent was fantastic. The towns of Malestroit and Josselin were delightful, think Disney's Beauty and the Beast, whilst the Saturday market in Vannes is definitely worth a trip. The beach is a little far away and the stairs were very steep for my elderly parents, but these were only minor issues. Our party ranged in age from 17 to 80 and we all enjoyed our time at La Touché Morgan.

Merci Alison pour votre accueil. Nous avons apprécié les petites douceurs ainsi que Aika qui a beaucoup aimé ses croquettes. La maison est idéalement située car pas trop loin des villes à proximité comme Ploërmel Malestroit même vannes à 30 mns. Le jardin a été aussi bien apprécié et l’accès wifi a bien fonctionné. Nous sommes ravis de notre séjour grâce également a des voisins sympathiques qui nous ont offert quelques légumes.

Superbe séjour !

Nous avons passé deux semaines dans cette maison et c'était un très bon moment. Le jardin est très agréable. La maison est bien équipée. Le salon reste frais, ce qui est très appréciable les jours de fortes chaleurs. Très bonne maison pour les séjours en famille avec des enfants. La communication avec Alison et Carl était super !

Gemütliches Haus in der Nähe des Golfes von Morbihan

Gemütliches Haus mit sehr schönem Aussenbereich. Verkehrsgünstig gelegen in der Nähe der Autobahn, aber sehr ruhig. Einziger Minuspunkt ist vielleicht der Herd in der Küche (alter Elektroherd), aber sonst alles in bester Ordnung. Ca. 25 min bis ins Zentrum von Vannes. Gute Ausgangslage für Tripps von Guerande bis Quiberon.

Mooi ruim huis met prachtige grote tuin.

Mooi ruim huis met veel slaapmogelijkheden. Prachtige grote tuin met verschillende plekjes om te zitten. Er staan zoveel fietsen dat je kan kiezen welke je het liefst neemt. Keuken goed uitgerust, 2 fijne ruime badkamers. Super dat de kinderen binnen kunnen darten en tafelvoetballen. Er zijn binnen ook bordspellen, boeken en cd’s. Eigenaren hebben zich ingezet om het de vakantieganger naar de zin te maken.

De la place et du calme

Grande maison avec toute les commodités. Grand jardin paysagé également. Tout y est pour un séjour reposant en famille. A proximité de Malestroit et St Marcel. Maison au top!

Nous avons vraiment apprécié la maison et son jardin. On se sent vraiment comme chez soi, tout est prévu dans la maison pour passer un bon séjour, le jardin est beau et bien entretenu, il y a de nombreux jeux à disposition et en plus, la maison était fraîche, ce qui a été très appréciable en cette période de canicule. A noter: la petite attention de bienvenue pour nous et notre chienne, merci Alison.

Maison très agréable avec un beau jardin où notre petit-fils a pu s'amuser pleinement. Accueil délicat avec une bouteille de mousseux bien frais! Nous recommandons la maison d'Alison et Carl.

Schöner Familienurlaub mit Hunden

Wir hatten schöne 10 Tage im Maison Fisher 👍😍 Das Haus hat eine tolle ruhige Lage, von dort aus kommt man mit dem Auto in circa. 10 Minuten in die nächste Stadt. Im Haus ist es durch die Steinmauern auch im Sommer immer kühl. Vor allem der schöne große Garten war für unsre Hunde super und auch der kleinste (1 Jahr) der Familie sowie die Erwachsenen konnte sich z. B. beim Badminton spielen auspowern. Es gibt viele Spielmöglichkeiten/Aktivitäten draußen und auch drinnen. Es ist alles da was man braucht um sich zu erholen. Auch im Haus war alles vorhanden, vor allem die Waschmaschine und Spülmaschine waren regelmäßig in Gebrauch :-) Den großen Grill draußen haben wir regelmäßig genutzt. Die Kommunikation im Vorfeld hat sehr gut geklappt sei es mit den Vermietern oder mit der Agentur. Würden das Haus wieder buchen! Danke nochmals für alles 😊 Familie Chamaillard

Une maison agréable et relaxante, un jardin paisible et ressourçant.

Un lieu facile à trouver, au cœur de pleins de beaux endroits à découvrir en Bretagne. Dès l'arrivée, nous nous sentons dans un petit havre de paix. Vous pouvez faire une petite ballade à pied jusqu'à la Chapelle et admirer les maisons typiques du coin. La maison est grande, calme et chaleureuse, avec de belles pièces à dormir. Nous ne nous sentons pas à l'étroit même avec les animaux de compagnies. Alison vous répond rapidement et se tient disponible pour toutes questions concernant votre séjour. C'est une personne très compréhensive. Le petit pot d'accueil est très appréciable. Tout y est. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour en famille et c'est avec plaisir que nous reviendrons. Nous recommandons vivement la maison d'Alison à Sérent. Belle continuation. Laurence, Maryse, Irène, Alain, Miguel, Céline et les 2 toutous !!!

A relaxing family holiday with that little bit extra.

An ab stunning property, clean and such a delight to stay in. The owners go that little bit further to make your stay perfect, from the bikes, games, books, painting equipment, loungers etc it makes the whole stay that bit more perfect. Loved everything about the house and communication with owners was very easy and reassuring. Thank you.

An extremely well cared for maintained property.

We had a fantastic family holiday with 15yo/14yo/8yo and everyone had a fantastic time.staying at the house and enjoying exploring the local area. It is a very clean, comfortable, well equipped property with everything you could need both in the kitchen and throughout the house.. Really nice rooms and comfortable beds. Outside the garden is lovely with ample room for children to play football and games. Lots of excellent information re places to visit / beaches / restaurant tips etc. and a good selection of books and games in the house. The outside barn contains badminton equipment, body boards, beach umbrella and the most fantastic array of cycles for both genders and ages. We all enjoyed several bikes rides. We would definitely return to this house as we loved it and the surrounding area. We would have no hesitation in recommending it to family and friends. The owner provided excellent communication and customer service.

A lovely tranquil location where you can totally relax.

We loved staying at this house, it has everything a family could want! The children especially enjoyed playing badminton in the garden and borrowing the body boards for our visit to the beach. The local village of Malestroit is beautiful with everything you could want for your stay. We especially enjoyed visiting the local attractions, with Rochefort en terre a favourite.

Maison Fisher review

The house worked really well for a family of boys, who loved the pool table and the large garden. It was great that there was so much equipment to use - badminton, bodyboards and bikes. In fact we found the house was very well-equipped in general, and is in a great location for exploring both the coast and the many beautiful inland towns.

Enjoy the time , its passes so fast !

This house has character , charm , and a layer of serenity. The garden and location is an oasis of tranquility. We painted , played pool , darts quite moments when we all just read , walked through the fields , picked fresh corn, ... Sorry but could not resist . Biked in country lanes that should lined with artists painting the green and placid fields . Every thing in house was excellent . Obviously we enjoyed the whole experience , but the property is enchanting. Book it and you will not disappointed . Thank you Alison and Carl

Moved to Devon 2012 from Bristol.I have taken early retirement from being a ward sister at Frenchay Hospital and Carl a landscape gardener. We have started a small business in Tavistock selling Italian leather handbags at various shows. Plymouth is the port we use travel to France and can now pop over whenever we want.I love cooking and entertain our french friends we have made over the years. Carl is in charge of the garden.We would like you to experience real France in our lovely house which we love.
We are keen walkers and cyclists and enjoy the french lifestyle. We welcome well behaved dogs as have 2 cocker spaniels.

Why they chose this property

Have had many family holidays in Brittany and always loved the Morbihan area.It's so peaceful with no busy roads or crowds.
The weather is always better with long hot summers. The house is in a rural area and the countryside is beautiful with the sea only 30 mins away by car. 2.5 hrs drive from Roscoff and 1.5 hrs from St Malo and 45 mins from Rennes is so convenient t travel.
Cycling is easy and the Nantes Brest canal is just a few minutes away from the house.

What makes this property unique

We enjoy the peace and quiet when on holiday. We read, walk,enjoy music and may even play badminton in the garden or scrabble.
There are paints for use to paint a picture and We have a few on the wall in the snooker room.
This house is ideal for 2 families as has 2 bathrooms, 3 floors and plenty of space. The house is not basic and is home from home. There are cook books, utensils for seafood, cut glass glasses, everything you need for gourmet cuisine. Some personal items are left for visitors to enjoy and use including 10 bikes, 3 bodyboards, badminton and tennis raquets are available to use.
