3bed 2 bath camp on the water great for groups or families. Sleeps 8 Front porch faces water to enjoy the sights and the breeze. Lights for night fishing and crabs caught right off the deck. Enjoy fishing, crabbing, boating, or swimming right off the deck. Full kitchen great for cooking meals, brick bbq pit with sink and counter to cleanfish, all linens provided, and parking under camp. A boat slip comes with camp to tie up a boat.

Fishing Adventure

Our family had a great time in Chauvin! We got to fish, saw alligators, water snakes and lots of Mullet jump in the channel. The house was very comfortable, quiet and relaxing! We had a wonderful time and can't wait to go back!

Best place near Houma!

Great property that is very tastefully remodeled with lots of space. Everything you need for an extended stay. The owners obviously take a lot of pride in their property. We hope to come back many times. Can’t say enough great things about the location and the house.

Great rental experience!

Nice property right on the water. Mrs. Gina the owner was great! She actually went to the trouble of postponing new shingles being put on until we checked out due to us reserving 3 extra days after we checked in. Thank you Gina for your accommodations and very clean property, we will definitely be returning .

On the bayou

Very nice place ..! Not too far down the bayou from town.Fish right of the deck with very bright lights. Plenty of seating area outside with a umbrella table which was nice. House sits close to the road so you can hear load cars and trucks passing bye late at night but it wasn’t to bad. The house was very nice inside with plenty of cooking ware and dishes. Plenty of towels and rags and extra bedding. Right down from Piggly Wiggly Grocery store and a Convenient Store and a Ice machine all on the way in .. All and All I would stay hear again ..

Great place on the canal close to everything but an easy escape

The property is perfect! The pictures actually represent what you will get. The two end bedrooms are spacious and the beds are very comfortable. The kids enjoyed the third room that has bunk beds and a pull-out daybed. There's lots of natural light without being directly in the sun so you can enjoy looking outside during the heat of the day without sweating it out. Both the upper and lower decks allow you to relax outside and cast a rod into the canal. The fans on the upper deck were utilized a lot. I've only stayed in a few vacation rentals where there were no problems with access, or something being broken, or the property not being the same as the description and photos. This place was awesome. My family is already making plans to visit again.

Anniversary

My husband and I came to celebrate our 25th Anniversary. We really enjoyed Gina’s place. It is very nice right on the bayou! We caught sheep head, redfish, catfish and brim right off the deck. I love the culture and food!!
