Experience true 'life on the bayou' in a heritage Louisiana fishing community. Beautiful 100% newly renovated interior on this waterfront property. We happy to announce our exterior renovations are finally complete including a new spacious 36 x 15 ft deck extending over the edge of the bayou!

3 Bedroom / 2 full bath includes Jacuzzi tub in master bath. Granite counters and maple cabinets throughout. Full size utility room with W/D. First floor is elevated approximately 10 from ground, storage underneath.

Conveniently located within minutes of charter fishing, and great self guided fishing opportunities.Don't forget to take a swamp tour while you are in Cajun country.
Enjoy local parades during the entire Mardi Gras season. Local parade routes are within a few miles of the unit. Houma has many parades only 20 minutes away; and take a day trip to New Orleans for a once in a lifetime event like Zulu, Bachus, Rex, or Endymion!

The house was perfect for myself and 3 teenage boys. We caught some giants out of the canal off the back porch and enjoyed watching the two gators that hang out in the canal. The proximity to everything else we love to do down there is also perfect.

Lots of steps which is expected in flood areas.. older folks may have issues with steps.. main level bed is high for elderly to get into .. bathrooms maybe could use some grab handles for showering .. otherwise the place was clean. Location was ideal. We fished the bayou under the deck. Only caught a a black drum and hardhead catfish.. I’m sure there’s other species to catch . A small alligator visited every day .. I’m sure people have been feeding it which I wouldn’t recommend.. still neat to see ..

This place was great. Great property, great property owner, great location, and plenty of shrimp, crabs and fish from the back of the house. We loved the daily visits from the little gator in the canal. My father and my son and I caught plenty of redfish in the local marshes around the area.

We love the small own atmosphere. The restaurants in Houma were delicious. I enjoyed watching the shrimp trollers coming and going. Overall a relaxing trip for adults

An amazing time!

Wonderful property, super friendly locals, and we saw a ton of wildlife in the area and out the back deck! Raymond was an amazing host. He was VERY communicative and helpful. I'd give this place 10 stars on everything, but there's only 5! My family and I would stay again in a heartbeat!!
