Newer Beachfront Contemporary, Unparalleled Views

This stunning 3 level contemporary single family home was completed the end of 2015. Everything is new! House is located on a bluff with gorgeous views of Lake Michigan from virtually every room in the house. Property includes 200ft of private beach (NOTE: there are 225 stairs down to beach). 7 bedrooms (1 bunk room), 5 1/2 baths, 2 separate entertainment areas. Perfect for 2 or 3 families. Kitchen and main living area are on the 2nd floor with a HUGE wrap around deck with spectacular views. There are two 3rd floor Master suites with huge bathrooms and their own 3rd floor deck. Sunset viewing and fires on the beach a must!

Our house has the best of both worlds...private lakefront get away from the hustle and bustle, but it is only 5 miles north of downtown St. Joseph. St. Joe is a GREAT harbor town with nice restaurants, adorable shops, and an old-fashioned dime store. Very family friendly with a indoor merry-go-round and hands-on kid's museum steps from the beach. World class golf, vineyards/wine tasting, and u-pick apples and peaches. Come check it out!!

Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Make sure to return inflatable paddle boards and paddles to the basement. Do NOT leave at the beach.
Please clean up the beach. Store chairs, tables, umbrellas on retaining wall.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Check in and check out times are strict for summer week long rentals. They are often flexible for weekend rentals.

The house was the perfect home base for our family during our daughter's wedding weekend. Plenty of space for our multi-generational family group who were in town for the festivities. There were a lot of stairs for the older folks to navigate, but overall the multi-level living space gave everyone in our big group privacy and space to spread out. The views of Lake Michigan are stunning from all of the floor to ceiling windows, and were the perfect backdrop for family photos! We did brave the 200 steps down to the beach and back up (quite a workout), but were rewarded with a beautiful stretch of beach to walk along during out stay.

Outstanding property with all the amenities. Plenty of beach toys, chairs, towels, umbrellas and the like. The house was spectacular with sleeping spaces and bathrooms for everyone. Very impressed with the utensils and dishes in the kitchen (they had everything one could need). Very clean, well-appointed with backup linens, bath towels and supplies. Allowed 3 family's plenty of together and alone space. Only drawback was the steps to the beach for the little ones.

Amazing stay with a beautiful view

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful property. The house was well-equipped and even better than it looked in the photos. The view can't be beat, and we especially loved paddle boarding and beach time during the day and bonfires looking out over the water in the evening. Tienne was a wonderful host - thank you so much for your flexibility and communication during planning. We had a wonderful time and can't wait to return!
