About the host
Hosted by Jan Jacob de Groot
We are Jan Jacob and Jacqueline de Groot, living in the Netherlands. We have three children in their twenties.
We married at Les Essarts and we spend our holidays by maintaining and restoring this farm with its 300 year old farmhouse, new house, pool, garden and orchard and of course by enjoying the peaceful property and nature around us.

Why they chose this property
The property is family owned since 1968. The farm had been abandoned many years before and nature had taken over. We love to be here because it is a tranquil, remote place, but in the middle of touristic opportunities, sites and restaurants.
