Beautiful house with splendid views. Older children ( and adults) enjoyed table tennis and other games. Everything we needed in the house. Lots of room for the 12 of us. Comfortable beds, plenty of bathrooms, well equipped kitchen and lovely garden.
Well equipped very spacious house with games room and pool room. Heating very effective and wood burners incredibly effective. All really important as one of the wettest weeks with widespread flooding

Thanks Mary, really pleased you enjoyed the House. Thanks for leaving it all so tidy. Best wishes to you and your family Elaine and Mark
As a group of 11 active over-60s, we loved the combination of comfort and practicality. The dining room doors opening directly to the garden were much-used. We hardly used the sitting room, because we spent most of our time sitting around the lovely big dining table or in the garden, which is a real suntrap. The large kitchen in a central location is also a great communal space.
And I don't have words to justify the views and walks in the Shropshire countryside!

Thankyou Moira, it was a pleasure to host you and I'm pleased you enjoyed the House and location so much. Best wishes to you and your family Elaine
The house that just keeps giving, not too perfect that you are frightened to kick back relax and enjoy, but spotlessly clean, everything you could possibly need in the kitchen, kids loved the games room and the rolling hills are just a wonder. Thank you for a perfect friends and family get together.
The property is spacious, clean, has everything you need and more, and situated in a quiet spot, with stunning views of the surrounding countryside, but easy reach of local villages and towns (car mostly needed, but Clun is walkable if you don't have small children). This gives plenty of options to either stay put, or explore the area.
The owners are very helpful and accessible, kind and friendly.
We would love to make a return visit.
A really lovely home set in beautiful classic rolling hills countryside. Very homely feel with character and well laid out. Great facilities to keep everyone entertained if you are unlucky with the weather too.
Elaine was really responsive and helpful in all my queries before and after booking. Friendly and very accommodating for any minor tweaks too!
One of the best properties we've stayed in for a large group. This house is very spacious. Loads of room downstairs to spread out. The two Games Rooms were well used each evening. Kitchen had everything we needed. We really enjoyed the gardens, which have stunning views, and are very well maintained. The location is off the beaten track, with walks right from the house. Most of the bedrooms were large and well-fitted out. Twin room has no cupboard/wardrobe to hang clothes. Ground-floor bedroom is rather dark. Would not hesitate to recommend this property.
We stayed with a group of friends with children and had a fantastic time with childproof gardens and plenty of lovely equipment to keep them busy
Thank you

Perfect for a relaxed family friendly holiday
We visited for a reunion with friends and our families. The space is great for our needs, particularly the games room! Elaine was great at keeping us informed and left lots of welcoming touches when we arrived. There is not great phone reception in the house but free wifi is available. Thanks again for a lovely stay, we will be back!

Perfect for family reunion
This was a perfect house for a family reunion of 7 adults and 6 young children. It's set in the beautiful countryside and is a great house with plenty to keep adults and children entertained - pool table, ping pong and a shed with toys/ games for the garden. Homely and sociable kitchen with sofa. We did a nice walk from the house down country lanes and public footpath to nearby village with pubs and castle. Would definitely stay again, thankyou.

About the host
Hosted by Elaine Lynch
I'm Elaine and together with my husband Mark we adapted, what was once my family home, into a House that was going to be perfect for large groups to get together under one roof.
Whilst off on maternity leave and at home with my two small children I opened Llanhedric House as Self Catering Accommodation in December 2012.
Part of what I love about having Llanhedric House is that I get to meet so many different people from all over the country and beyond. I try to be as accommodating as I can so that organising and booking it is easy, the House has everything you might need and that you have a great time and leave with some very special memories.
Why they chose this property
Llanhedric House overlooks the stunning Clun Valley. With curvaceous fields, meandering streams and castle ruins all in one eye shot, it doesn't get any better.
When the sun is shining and the only sounds are the sheep in the nearby fields or children laughing and running around the gardens you'll understand why this is such a special place
Whether you enjoy good food and great walks, visiting local markets and ancient castles or hang-gliding and paint balling there's something for everyone in this wonderfully unspoilt county.
What makes this property unique
At Llanhedric House you can all sleep under one roof. Inside of this magnificent 17th century house is feeling a space and enormity, yet it manages to maintain a homely and cosy ambience. There's plenty of social areas for you all to enjoy time together, yet room for grownups to enjoy time alone and kids to have the best ever game of 'hide and seek'.
