This superb villa has sea views and is the perfect location for a family beach holiday, with Marbesa beach, restaurants on your doorstep. There are a selection of restaurants and bars within a few minutes walk, and a 24-hour supermarket less than 1km away. The lovely Marina of Cabopino is just a few minutes drive or a 15-minute walk along the beach, and Elviria with the famous Nikki Beach Resort is also just a few minutes drive or 15 minutes walk in the other direction. There are several golf courses within the area. The airport is just a 30-minute drive away, with Marbella and Puerto Banus both well within 15 minutes drive.

The house looks better advertised than in reality

The house is rather run down with broken front door and gate door which makes it impossible to lock or enter in case electricity falls out (the only working entry is via the sliding gate which need electricity). At the property itself there are many broken tiles, missing toilet lock, broken chairs, exposed wires which might be hazardous if one is not careful. The cleanness of the house could also be improved, especially in the garden and upper balcony. Owner is very responsive, so contact is good, however no action was undertaken after our complaint. Not a good value for the money.

Lovely villa

The villa was lovely. Outside space and pool area were great. Not a lot around the villa if you don’t have a car. A couple of nice restaurants. It’s a bit hilly going up and down to the restaurants and beach.

Perfect family holiday

I searched a lot of different properties ahead of booking Casa Mara and the research paid dividends. It was perfect all round, location, size, pool, facilities, neighbouring restaurants, local takeaways and communication with the owner. This is the ultimate home from home allowing a complete rest and relaxation package. We will most definitely be booking again and can’t wait for the next time.
