Property has everything needed for a great stay
Immaculately clean throughout. Secure back yard for dog
Would definitely recommend and would happily stay again.
Only negative was the pub across
the road did not allow dogs but that has nothing to do with the property.
We had been here before so knew what to expect. It exceeded our previous stay. Everything you needed was there, and the place was so clean and tidy. We were met at the flat and everything explained clearly. Super location with shops pub and golf all close. Visited Fettercairn distillery and House of Dun and an hour trip to St Andrews and Anstruther. The flat has the best Wi-Fi I have experienced. Definitely worth a stay.
The property is a lovely end of village immaculately presented, comfortable home and was a real home from home experience, everything provided that you could possibly need.
Edzell village is delightful, it has a hotel, restaurant pub, supermarket, artisan shop with cafe, 10 min stroll to the river North Esk and the property is directly next to the village park. Numerous walks and local places of interest to visit, we packed in as much as we could but will certainly be returning to investigate more.

About the host
Hosted by David & Emily MacSporran
We have lived in Edzell for the last 15 years. I recently retired from the Builders Merchanting Industry and now spend my time golfing, walking, gardening, diy and being a member of the Community Council.
Emily is a retired accountant and she also enjoys the country pursuits.
We both take an active interest in the village and the surrounding countryside and glens.
Why they chose this property
It is not often that properties come on the market for sale in Edzell. When Edgemuir, 97 High Street and the apartment above it did come onto the market at the same time we thought this was a great opportunity to invest in one of the original houses that was build around 1860.
Edgemuir was in dire need of repair and we took time and care renovating it to a high standard. The property now offers very comfortable and freindly accommodation and has been awarded Scottish Tourist Board 4 star rating.
