We had a fantastic week in this amazing property. Lots of room to spread out, very comfy bedrooms. Lovely walk to the coastline and Westward Ho! Only disappointment was the pool being not very inviting and garden furniture needs replacing. Otherwise a great place for a family holiday.
Very spacious comfortable home. Pool kept children happy even when raining. Easy access to coastal path for walks. Fantastic for a large group of friends or family
This is a really nice property in a beautiful area, with plenty to do within easy reach. We enjoyed our week's stay very much, and Howard couldn't have been more helpful in responding to queries. Many thanks!

A sprawling yet enticing property
The property, especially the pool is a fantastic venue for a family and friends retreat. The grounds and close proximity to the coastal path offer great walks and views. The family feel made it even more special as there were all the amenities that you would generally find in your own house.
What could be improved... a sun umbrella for the pool are and extra pillows for the bedrooms (we went out and bought 4 pillows)
Gorgeous house and gardens, beautiful setting, we had a great holiday at The Tower House.
However when paying over £5500 for 7 nights it was disappointing to see the pool was very green and had a leak ( maintenance guy was very good came out few times) but we only used it a couple of times - it did not look like the photo ! There were only 5/6 useable garden chairs for 12 adults, the sunshade umberella had rips and holes in it, cushions were coming apart, the shower tray in main bathroom overflowed as was blocked up, toilet handle in main bathroom was already broken - maintenance guy was excellent ! House was lovely with lots of character, however kitchen was not clean to high standard, flies in kitchen and conservatory , fridge needed cleaning when we arrived and 3 sets of oven gloves were very dirty - we washed them. Dyson was blocked, we unblocked it and washed the filter.
This said we all had a great holiday at The Tower House, thank you !
Truly lovely old house and for our family reunion with the children and grandkids it was perfect. The walk across the fields to the coastal route to Westward Hoe. from the house was beyond words truly breathtaking.
The big advantage of Tower House is the swimming pool which everyone enjoyed so much. The kids learning to dive whilst there.
Fabulous position. Highly recommended.
The property is beautiful and the grounds and location stunning. Perfect for a family holiday with so much space. The owner’s communication was brilliant throughout.
This was a special family holiday & the house proved to be a special property! Its looks, style, space, position and of course the swimming pool gave us everything that we needed to have a wonderful holiday
Great location in quiet peaceful area tucked away from the more crowded parts of the area. Spacious and really well equipped family home. Perfect for multi generational get togethers. Lovely pool and patio area and direct access to the coastal footpaths.
A truly beautiful country house with swimming pool. Spacious accommodation where you could all enjoy each others company or find a quiet corner to be on your own. A perfect family holiday and although you have local amenities and the sea on your doorstep we chose to very much base ourselves in or around the house. Surfing close at hand and beautiful walks along the SW coastal path. Very memorable!
Our holiday was exactly what we hoped it to be. The house is huge, in fact larger than we thought. There are 2 large receptions rooms, both with flat screen tvs, a large kitchen and conservatory which leads you out to a huge garden including a large pool. All the bedrooms are spacious and very comfortable.
From the garden you have direct access to the beach which is great for rock pooling at low rides and a lovely walk to Westward Ho! on the coastal path.
A couple of our family visited the local pub which I heard was lovely.
Overall a great place for families to holiday.... Loads of room, a great pool and a super location. Big Sheep was good for the little ones and definitely recommend the Glorious Oyster at Instow which does superb seafood. Its a few miles for Bideford but a nice leisurely ride on the bike.
Oh and communication with the owner was prompt and they had useful tips on local eateries and attractions. We all loved it.
We hope to be back next year!

Large comfortable family home, country setting in large garden with large pool, unique tower to view
We so enjoyed the house tower and pool there was almost no need to go out, the pool was a good size and the youngest in our party at last conquered his fear of water, we had wonderful evening meals around the large family table in the conservatory, the children's play room had every thing for children of all ages, not one child asked for their kindle! We serfed at Woolacomb and Westwood Ho visited Clevelly, walked the coast trail accessed from the bottom of the garden, I would love to stay in this house again it was perfect for all ages and although rural it was within easy reach of many amenities. Thank you for a wonderful week

great house, beautiful garden, great pool
Dear
We (family Redondo and Loetscher) stayed at the Towerhouse from July 14 to July 21. The house, all the rooms and the garden was wonderful, we really loved it! In our time at the Towerhouse we played often Siedler that‘s a social game or we went swimming in the pool. We visited a lot of wonderful places in fact beaches. Once we went to Ilfracome, wich was incredible. The view from the tower is breathtaking, we spent such a nice time at the house and we can highly recommend it.
Thank you very much to give us the opportunity to spend our holidays at your Place!

Great place for a large family holiday
This is the place to book if you want a great family holiday. Plenty of room for all, the property pictures are exactly as it is. .the bedrooms are spacious, with ample bathrooms and showers for everyone. The kitchen and conservatory perfect for cooking and dining all together (young and old) both well equipped. With the 2 spacious lounges as chill out areas. Outside areas again allowed , us all to gather as a family, with the benefit of a large swimming pool, loved by all. Evening walks through the grounds to the cliff paths and beach, with some amazing sunsets to see. Many happy memories were made on this fabulous family holiday, we would definitely recommend the Tower House for large family gatherings. Ideal as a base if you wanted to venture out to the sights of North Devon, or stay in and enjoy the open spacious facility's this property gives.

It feels like a home not a holiday let
A tasteful mix of modern and old, with well selected furniture and decor makes the house feel like a home and we were guests. The garden has a lovely mixture of plants and is well kept. The Orchard gives the feeling of never ending space and the field to the coast path completes it. There were 12 of us in three families and there was space to be together and apart. The kitchen was well equipped, the conservatory was delightful and the lovely pool kept children as well as adults busy.

Fantastic
The house and gardens were fantastic. There was plenty of space even though there were 14 people in our group. The house was clean and well equipped. We used the pool every day even though it wasn't the hottest of weeks. The location is good, with plenty to do in the local area. We had an amazing holiday.

Brilliant Family Holiday
I took my 3 children, their wives and 6 grandchildren aged 1 to 6 years. The house is the central part of a large manor house and is a family home. They generously left lots of things out for children to play with both in the house and outside. There are play houses and tree houses as well as the swimming pool; so everyone could easily entertain themselves. You can easily walk along the coastal path to sandy beaches at Westward Ho and some people are happy to swim off the rocks at the coast quite near the house. This house is ideal for families who have a relaxed attitude to life and enjoy the space both inside and outside. Brilliant!

Amazing house and great base for a wonderful week
Nine of us (two people in their 60s, four in their thirties, and three under 8s) had a wonderful week. The house is wonderfully decorated, well maintained and cleanse, and had lots of space and everything we needed.

Beautiful, spacious house & garden
We had a lovely holiday in this beautiful house. The location is wonderful - within 5 mins walk of the coastal path and close to Bideford and Westward Ho! (you can walk along the coast to the latter). The house is very spacious with large, sunny and beautifully decorated rooms. The pool is a good size and the garden is huge. It is a great house for kids, but also has a relaxing, peaceful feel for adults and plenty of space to spread out for an extended family. The views of sunsets from the tower are unforgettable.
