The house was lovely and clean and is really handy for buses out to Skegness or Mablethorpe as well as a short wander to the shops/ pub/ beach.The garden was a particular high spot and our dog loved it. We had everything we needed and didn't bother driving out to do a "big shop" as the co-op and spar are so close by.

We really enjoyed our stay at sunshine cottage good location for all Skegness activities. Good sized garden for the dog and house was spacious and clean inside. Anderby Creek beach only 10 minutes drive away with a great dog friendly beach for our dog and a dog friendly beach cafe that served nice food soft drinks and alchohol.

lovely location

The cottage was fine for a couple of nights with the grandchildren, everything is close by & an easy walk to shops & beach. The house could do with a bit of TLC and the upstairs loo seat was missing (apparently the previous guests had an accident) & it wasn't replaced during our stay but this didn't cause us a problem. Beds were comfortable & there is plenty of hot water.

A week away with family and 3 dogs. Very clean throughout and everything we needed was available. Fab enclosed garden with outdoor furniture - dogs loved it as did we. Really good location, area was lovely. Property does require some maintenance/repairs in a few areas. However, this did not affect our lovely week away and we would definitely stay here again. Also, communication with host was excellent, thank you 😊

We had a fantastic stay. The property is clean, warm and welcoming. Double bed was super comfy with excellent bedding. Kitchen well equipped and user friendly. Wonderful time in beautiful comfortable home

We are 3 elderly friends. Communicatin regarding accessing property was excellent as was information regarding places to visit and dog friendly places to drink and eat. On entering the house we were all pleasantly surprised kitchen come dinner is lovely with everything required to live like home from home. Lounge is also very comfortable with a cosy homley feel. We all had a bedroom each and all slept very well. It was very good to have toilet and wash basin upstairs and a bathroom downstairs which is very nice. Little dog with us enjoyed acessing garden through doors in lounge we all enjoyed ourselves too. The only negative was having to leave sunshine cottage all 3 of us hope to return again as does little dog too. Many thanks from the 3 of us plus Pippa (dog)

Great seaside cottage

Located in a quiet cul-de-sac this cottage is the perfect location to explore the surrounding villages and coastline. The garden is very spacious and was perfect for our dog. Overall standard of the house is very good but it does need a little bit of TLC to bring it up to excellent. Just a few minutes walk from the village centre where there are a good selection of shops and places to eat. Only criticism is that the volume on the TV has been pre set making it difficult to hear some programmes and the toilet seat upstairs does not fit correctly, however we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Lovely detached cottage near to beach and shops

This was the first time my husband and I have used owners direct and we found this lovely pet friendly cottage perfect for our needs, and perfect it was. We were amazed at the size of the garden, which is actually 4 times larger than our own, so you can imagine how our 2 border collies Felt! They absolutely loved it and being so close to the beach and shops, not to mention, just 10 minutes from Skegness.. We were in our element, so much so we have now booked for next year. It was clean, in fact Superb in everyway, can't wait to return next summer. Thank you

Why they chose this property

The entrance sign into Chapel St Leonards says "Village Life by the Seaside" and it really is exactly that. A sleepy, totally relaxed English village with a warm welcome to its visitors, everyone seems happy & relaxed with all the time in the world to chat about anything you want to talk about. The village has some of the best restaurants, Beaches and entertainment in the area, The Perfect place to enjoy a nice summer holiday or a Winter shortbreak.

At the time of purchase, the Property needed some TLC and has now been totally renovated throughout taking some 4 months bringing it up to standard to it's new happy life as a fabulous pet friendly holiday home with guests coming from all over the world to thoroughly enjoy it's wonderful charm with many returning year after year.

What makes this property unique

This wonderful home has space and lots of it inside and out, a beautiful large garden which is maintained by a retired florist, it has the benefit of 2 bathrooms, a large secure garden and a fenced fishpond, of which guests can enjoy feeding the 65 fish, it's peaceful location, a large patio for alfresco dining, a separate dining room for 6 persons and off road parking for 2 cars.

We would be delighted to have you as guests and a great deal of care has been taken to prepare the cottage for your arrival to ensure you and your family feel right at home to enjoy a wonderful holiday or winter shortbreak stay.
