This lovely property, with pool and tennis court, is within 12 minutes of great pastries and butchers but you can walk for miles in all directions without seeing another human. It’s a fabulous vase to explore both Dordogne and Lot et Garonne. We visited Sarlat, Beynac, Domme, Chateaux des Milandes, caves and went canoeing. The hosts and caretakers are lovely and full of great regional advice. We adored our two weeks of duck, foie gras, great markets, forest strolls and country drives. Magical, thanks!

Gite from Heaven
Tucked away in a wooded area close to Fumer and Cahors you will find this picturesque and sympathetically converted homestead that provides a base for a great holiday if you can tear the family away from the large pool and tennis court that is!!! Inside you will find everything that you will ever need. We packed lots of those little things that gites never have, well not this one, it had the lot including board games and toys for the children. A fantastic time was had by all and we barbequed on the patio every night watching the shooting stars and satellites passing overhead in the amazing night sky. Don't miss the night market in Luberjac just two miles down the road on Thursdays, take some plates and cups with you, everything else from wine, food and music is provided very cheaply.
A stunning place to stay and visit. Will definitely consider a return!
