About this property

Super equipped Studio Apartment with high speed internet

The apartment block is situated only a few strides from the local bars, shops and restaurants where the charm of this lovely French village can be warmly felt. The studio is well equipped for 4 people. There is ample private off street parking and a ski locker by the entrance. The mountains are superb for walking, biking etc in the summer and the area for skiing in the winter is vast with easy access to mountains. The village has not lost its charm over the years and offers a great place to eat, try the local wine and practise your French. There is a weekly market selling good food etc. Lots for children to do with a large outdoor swimming pool situated in the park. Its even got a golf driving range! Canoeing, white water rafting, biking, walking, rock climbing and many more activities for the summer and of course the winter skiing, crosscountry skiing, ice skating and husky sledge riding add up to a great area for an adventure family holiday. We love it, we have no doubt you will too.

Ski trip in Samoens

Booked the apartment for a ski trip to Samoens. The owner Tanguy got in touch via telephone around 1 week before our visit and chatted through all of the information with regards to the apartment but also the town in general, ski area etc. This was incredibly helpfu. Tanguy also sent through a comprehensive information sheets which was very helpful. The apartment itself is well presented clean and has everything required for a pleasant stay. It is ideally placed for shops, restaurants and bars and is only around 100m from the nearest ski bus stop. Cannot recommend enough! We will be back.

Résidence idéalement située, à 2 pas du centre du village, mais calme malgré tout. Pas besoin de voiture. Appartement très fonctionnel, suffisant pour 2 adultes et 2 ados malgré sa surface restreinte d'autant qu'on ne passe généralement pas la journée à l'intérieur (canapé-lit + 2 lits superposés, espaces de rangement, lave-vaisselle, four micro-onde et grill, table pour 4 personnes, terrasse...). Orienté à l'Est, l'appartement ne chauffe pas trop durant la journée malgré la canicule (séjour en août). La propreté du logement dépend du locataire précédent mais tous les produits et accessoires sont disponibles pour le ménage. Propriétaire très sympathique et très réactif. Documentation sur les activités à faire dans la région. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour estival.

Logement idéalement placé

Le logement est juste a côté du centre du village. On peut tout faire a pieds. La navette pour le ski est a 50m au dessus de l'immeuble. Le logement est très bien équipé et très propre. Le systeme de boite a clé est vraiment pratique. Logement un peu juste pour une famille avec 2 ados mais pour une semaine ça le fait on s'adapte. Tanguy est bienveillant et franchement top la fiche info transmise avant le séjour. Je recommande vivement.

We're a French couple in their late forties. We love this valley and got married in Morillon in June 2012, that's a 5-minute drive from Samoëns.

Why they chose this property

Because it's very well located, calm, charming, and it enjoys a nice view on the Criou.
We just love this valley and especially the charming village of Samoëns.
It's a typical Savoie village, which is quiet and lively at the same time. The ski domain is quite big, and the summer activities are numerous.

What makes this property unique

Our studio's best feature is most probably it's location. It's a 3-minute walk from the center of the village where bars and restaurants are, yet it's very peaceful and quiet.
It's also 3 minutes from the free ski bus stop.
It enjoys very high speed internet (300 hundred meters from the telecom building)!
