No. 5 Searock is a 2nd floor, 2 bedroom apartment. It has an open plan kitchen, dining and living area, which is well equipped and includes a dishwasher. It has a South West facing balcony with table & seats to relax with a drink or snack while enjoying the stunning sea views and watching the world go by. Opposite the apartments is a beautifully maintained communal area, that has a 'Crazy Golf'’ course, an open ‘Green’, a promenade and a beach. It is a short walk from a lovely harbour, an historical street, cliff walks and dramatic scenery.

Stunning place and location
We went last easter and the kids and wife loved the place and location. It was clean, spacious and couldn't of asked for a better location with sea views as a bonus.
Perfect location to spend time with family.
Everything we needed. Spent 2 days with family before going on to London. Loved exploring the town. Only wish parking was easier, but not anyone’s fault. All in all would recommend this location to anyone looking for the perfect place for a few days vacation in Ilfracombe.
Fabulous apartment. Great location. Couldn't be happier.

Great apartment for short getaway.
Stayed here two nights in October 2016. Ideal location, fantastic views and brilliantly equipped kitchen. Everything you could need and more in this great apartment. Very clean and modern, right on the seafront in Ilfracombe with all the attractions within easy walking distance, just make sure you get the allocated parking space. Loved it and will be back.

Great location, lovely apartment, friendly management
Well presented, modern, clean apartment with everything you might need. Lots of storage space if you are staying a bit longer. Bedrooms a good size and bathroom has bath and shower. The real highlight is the sunset from the balcony area! Leanne and her team were friendly and accommodating. We are often down in the area regularly and have found our new favourite apartment to rent!

Excellent position. Close to everything. Spotless apartment with everything you ll need for self catering. There are loads of places close by to eat out including a Wetherspoons directly opposite only downfall is parking !! It s a nightmare. We had to park for our 3 days in 24 hr car park. Not cheap and not easy to get into either
The apartment is two floors above a restaurant. Late evening lots of noise from clattering plates, staff whistling, calling to one another in kitchen. Its right under the bedroom with its single glazed window. After midnight the Weatherspoons just across the way closes. Big fight o e night.
Door to apartment has coded handle. Anyone who knows code could come in as no lock or bolt on inside of door.
Nice view obscured by dirty windows. TV remote not working.
Kitchen ok. Small dishwasher useful. Tap loose. Super squeaky metal bedstead.
Situated in very tired mansion block. Would not return

Loving the View!!
We had a very relaxing time at 5 Searock Apartments. The property is well equipped, clean,tidy and utilises space extremely well. There is a fantastic view from the living room of the sea front with a window seat and balcony perfectly situated for people-watching and taking in fabulous sun sets. Easy walking distance from anything you need in Ilfracombe itself. Leanne the owner was very informative and welcoming prior to our visit. Pauline who met us on arrival, made sure we knew where everything was and provided outstanding information on the town, local area and convenient bus services. Detailed information pack provided by the owner to help you plan your days and evenings. An ideal base for touring round this lovely and picturesque area of Devon. The only downside for us was the light pollution and general sounds of traffic / people at night - it is not excessive but if like us you are used to isolated properties with no passing traffic or street lights, this may not be for you. I must stress this is very much our issue rather than a fault of the apartment, most people probably would not even notice. Our personal quirk aside, the property is lovely.

Seaside apartment
A lovely apartment with super view over the sea. Sunsets were incredible. It is very well equipped and spotlessly clean. It is very centrally placed for the town and the beaches. It sleeps four with 1 double and a twin bedroom. Lidl is within walking distance and there is aTesco further out on the approach to the town. There are several bakeries and butchers selling local meat and home made cakes and pasties. Loads of places to eat out reasonably as well. Weatherspoons opposite the apartment do a mean breakfast for £4.99!
On the first Saturday of the month there is an Artisans market in Fore St
The 2 flights of stairs are quite steep and parking can be an issue. We were lucky to get one of the 2 allocated spaces for the block. Parking permits are available from the tourist information office and cover several car parks in the area. Think the cost is £30 per week. There is a laundry room in the block and a wash will cost £4. We didn't need to use it as we were only there for 4 nights,
There is plenty to see and do in the town and surrounding area. Walking the SW Coastal path was one of our aims. Good local bus services as well.
Would recommend for either a short break or a longer holiday

Sehr schön zentral aber ruhig gelegene Unterkunft in Ifracombe. Typisch englisch eingerichtet, tolle Aussicht aus dem Wohnbereich auf Promenade und Meer/ Felsen. Der schöne Hafen liegt ganz nah sowie zahlreiche Bars, Cafes und Restaurants .w
This apartment has a very good size, lovely sea view from living room. Pub opposite. Italian restaurant downstairs. Close to town and seafront. Woolacombe and saunton sands close by. We also visited lynton and lynmouth which I recommend to visit.
The apartment was tidy and exactly what we needed. There was a small mix up with bed sheets but that was seen to very quickly by the landlord who responded almost instantly.
Good location, accommodation basic but clean. No welcome pack such as milk which would have been appreciated.

We are Darren and Leanne Weekes and we live in Newport Pagnell, Buckinghamshire with our 2 children. We fell in love with Ilfracombe and the rest of North Devon in 2007 when we came on holiday here with our 2 girls. We genuinely believe Ilfracombe is the nicest town in Devon and we are amazed every time we come here just how much one small seaside town has to offer. We also think that the restaurants offer some of the nicest food around and the people are so lovely and welcoming. We bought No. 5 Searock in March 2014 after we had been searching for our perfect holiday ‘bolt hole’ for over a year. The apartment needed a bit of refurbishment, which was completed in July 2014 and has been upgraded and modernized regularly since then.

Ilfracombe is a fantastic town to enjoy, in a picturesque setting and a perfect base from which to explore the fabulous surrounding coast and countryside. The apartment block could not be in a better location with an amazing view from the balcony that has the most beautiful sunsets.

Situated on the sea front and close to the harbour, beaches and town, our apartment has everything you need for a really enjoyable holiday or short break. Despite the amazing food the restaurants have to offer, our apartment is fully equipped for you to enjoy easy, 'home from home' living.
