Chalet Sonnailles is in one of the most beautiful parts of the Swiss Alps, at the eastern end of the world famous Les 4 Vallées. The views from the chalet are breathtaking, and awe inspiring. In summer drift off to sleep to the gentle sound of cow bells in the mountain pastures below. In winter the snow conditions are some of the most relaible in Europe. Ski in Ski out, straight on to Les Masses (30) piste. Snow canons ensure you are always able to ski back to Chalet Sonnailles. The modern, recently completed (2014), spacious chalet sleeps eight adults in four individually designed bedrooms. With a contemporary Alpine feel it is finished with a combination of luxurious soft furnishings and practical modern accessories, including a steam room and large Jacuzzi. The comfortable well equipped Chalet Sonnailles is easily accessible, less than two hours from Geneva airport by car, or three hours from Milan and Zurich. And just twenty minutes from Sion the capital of the Valais canton.

Great winter holidays

The chalet is very nice and cosy. Our family (5 Adults, 2 children) has enough space to relaxe after the ski day. The kitchen is fully equipped and we had much fun to cook our meals and enjoy it. The snow was fine and we had lots of sunny hours during the day.

Sehr schönes Chalet

Wir haben schöne Ferien in diesem sehr schön eingerichteten Chalet erlebt. Wir würden gerne Wiederkommen! Einzig die Zimmergrössen und Ablageflächen sind eher knapp bemessen ausser im Hauptschlafzimmer. Ansonsten Top!

Schönes aber mangelhaftes Chalet

Sehr schönes Chalet, sehr ruhig, top Aussicht. Freundlicher Empfang, im voraus gute Anleitung und Information. Leider war das Haus nicht sauber, Stoffmöbel leider schmuddelig. Schade auch, dass der Zugang draussen zur Sauna und Jacuzzi schlecht gelöst ist (Erde, Steine, Wiese). Innenbereich total überladen mit Dekor (Hörner und Jagdtrophäen). Küchenausrüstung mangelhaft (kein Fondu Rechaud und kein Raclettöffeli, keine Abfallsäcke, etc.). Reinigungskosten viel zu teuer, für dass es dann doch nicht sauber ist.

Chalet in ruhiger Umgebung

Wir suchten Ruhe,genug Platz für fünf Erwachsene,Whirlpool,Badewanne und eine schöne Terrasse! Wir bekamen alles und jederzeit,sogar eine Dampfsauna dazu!!! Wir waren auch außerhalb des Chalet ungestört. Auch der Chaletbetreuer war tadellos und gab uns Infos für Sehenswürdigkeiten! Wir sind sehr zufrieden!

Ski-in Ski-out Super-Chalet

Wir haben schöne Ferien in diesem Super-Chalet genossen. Unmittelbar an der Piste zum Les Masses Skilift gelegen konnten wir unmittelbar vor der Türe losfahren und am Abend mit den Ski wieder bis vor das Haus fahren. Danach gab es jeweils ein Bad im Jacuzzi oder einen Gang in die Sauna. Nach dem Essen genossen wir jeweils die wohlige Wärme des Schwedenofens.

We enjoyed our stay in the chalet in February very much. Apart from some minor improvements, e.g. pool water needed to be replaced and towels were not provided for all people, the stay was just perfect. The chalet has everything you need and is in a great location. We are definitely coming back for this winter season!

Ideal Christmas Retreat

We loved our Christmas break at Chalet Sonnailles, thank you so much. The chalet has everything you could possible need, the Sauna was especially popular. It is situated in such a great location, we could ski to Verbier in just over an hour and you are lucky to have Le Bois Sauvage (great restaurant) just below the Chalet. We look forward to coming back soon.

Stylish Chalet in a Stunning Setting

The impeccable contemporary design of this beautiful chalet creates a wonderfully luxurious atmosphere, which is only heightened by the superb views towards the Dent Blanche and the coyly peeping Matterhorn. The open plan living accommodation is stylish yet comfortable, and the master bedrooms are deliciously opulent. The skiing is, of course, excellent, with the new Les Masses chair an easy short run down in the morning (no queues guaranteed!). This makes available the whole 4 Vallees area, and an undemanding ski out down Les Masses can take you right to the chalet (and its enviable hot tub and sauna combination - again, breathtaking views as your aches and pains magically disappear!) The chalet is magnificent and thoroughly recommended!

Amazing Chalet in a superb locatiom

The chalet was immaculate, had a homely welcoming feel & you could tell that a lot of love & thought had been put into the interior design including very high quality furnishings. Olivier met us on arrival to show us around the chalet/advised us on a couple of walks/left us his number if any problems(not needed) & then turned up on the morning of departure to check all ok - excellent service. The views from the Chalet are amazing including the day we woke up to find we were above the clouds. Le Bois Savage restaurant in the village was excellent for either an early evening drink or a meal. We would also recommend the La Luge in Les Collons for a Pizza with the locals. We spent most of our time walking in the area including a long hike to the dam but the best time spent by all was after a long day hiking, relaxing in hot tub watching the sun go down. We would highly recommend this Chalet & will hopefully return one day.

Wonderful accomodation in exquisite countryside

The chalet is in immaculate condition with all the mod cons. The manager Olivier was always available to assist with any requests (not that he was needed). There are some amazing walks right from the front door and enough bars and resaurants in the surrounding villages to suit all needs. We would most definately return and bring friends and family.

A truly exquisite chalet in a superb location.

This chalet was all that one could hope for, and more! Beautifully decorated throughout with every last detail carefully thought out. Superb bedrooms and fabulous communal living area. The views are absolutely breathtaking and the position of the chalet makes it ideal for getting on to the slopes in no time. A wonderful steam room and hot tub ease any aches away. Excellent restaurants in the area and a very good ski shop with new equipment if rental is needed. I would have no hesitation in recommending this chalet and very much hope to stay there again.

Glorious week in the 4 valleys

We spent a glorious week in Chalet Sonnailles; it catered for our every need; warm and comfy beds, a spacious sitting room, a well equipped kitchen and lots of hot water – both inside and out, thanks to the relaxing hot tub which, with a glass of wine in hand and a view to die for, reinvigorated our ski-weary bones! A truly great chalet to which we so look forward to returning.

The chalet has four double bedrooms and is a perfect retreat; suited for two families or up to 8 adults. Arranged over three floors it has been designed to offer guests a relaxing break in an idyllic mountain retreat.
Furnished in a contemporary style with a combination of luxurious as well as unusual pieces reflecting both European and African design. Throughout the chalet the decor and furnishings reflect a warm and welcoming alpine home.
All of the rooms are beautifully individually designed and each of the bedrooms has it’s own Smart TV with satellite, Apple TV and hair-dryer.
Facilities and equipment include: Jacuzzi, Steam Room, Barbecue, Outdoor Sofa, Chairs and Loungers, WiFi, Apple TV Films, Blu-Ray Player, Selection of DVDs, Board Games, AV System and a Tennis Court (5 minutes away)
