Casa Collina Verde is a 16th century Tuscan country farmhouse and holiday rental very close to the medieval walled town of Lucca. This villa is ideally positioned on a hillside with breath taking views of the planes of Lucca. The property is in a relaxed tranquil location surrounded by vineyards and olive groves, yet only a 10-15 drive from Lucca. Relax around the private pool and garden or explore Tuscany's local attractions with Florence, Pisa and the coast all within driving distance. Though a peaceful tranquil location, the house is not isolated with an abundance of restaurants and amenities in the local area. In summary: ideal for families, groups or couples, comfortably sleeps 8+. The fourth bedroom on the ground floor has its own kitchen, bathroom and living area. You will have exclusive use of large pool and garden. It's a traditional Tuscan house with chestnut beams, tranquil location, yet not isolated, close to Lucca with Florence, Pisa and coast all within 1 hr. drive, 40 minutes from Pisa airport, unlimited wireless Internet access, available for rent throughout the year. We are from and live in the UK, but have family in Lucca. After several years of searching for the right property we came across this country farmhouse. It had everything we were looking for, the fantastic views, tranquillity, great position, close to local amenities and Lucca. We fell in love with it instantly, though the house needed a little updating, so the renovations began.
Why they chose this property
We've spent as much time as we can over the past few years putting our own stamp on the house and have now become very attached to the property. Its now part of our soul and we like to spend as much time there as we can. We've attempted to make the house feel like a home from home.
