Stunning Luxury Old Tuscan Villa With private 12 Mtr Fresh Water Pool

Alla Marginetta is a luxury Villa set on over 6 acres of land and forest, refurbished to the highest standards. Very private large grounds with a superb 12 metre fresh spring water, looking up to the mountains.

The pool is an oasis, with a good kids play area nearby and by the pool is a lovely Gazebo where you can enjoy lunch or dinner. It has a BBQ, large table, chairs, electricity and water. Outside the kitchen grounds is another gazebo which is great for breakfast, lunch or dinner or lust lounging about. But the best part of the upper kitchen grounds is the large stone fire where you sit with friends and family late into the night, its really special & unique. There is a chainsaw and axe to cut down (dead) trees on the ground, everyone seems to love this.

The Villa has 5 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms with a spacious comfortable living and dining rooms. The large totally fitted kitchen has an island bar for casual eating and relaxing. The lower level has a Tavern bar which leads onto the Villa grounds, plus washing machine & laundry area. The Tavern bar boasts a brand new billiard (pool) table, plus other games. It also has good seating and a well stocked bar.

Outside near the pool there is also a nice play area for Children, including bikes and games. We now have 5 bikes (children & adults) plus games like swing ball and many others. There is an extensive movie collect at the villa, plus new satellite TV and very good wireless (even to pool).

3 minutes drive from Alla Marginetta are the lovely villages of San Rocco in Turrite and Focchia. A further 5 mins on from San Rocco is the picturesque town of Pescaglia. Continuing from Focchia is the quaint town of Fabbriche di Vallico. There are many lovely local restaurants in close proximity of the Villa. The area is great for fishing and mountain/hill walking or just chilling. The garden is landscaped very tastefully and gives you total privacy.

This Villa is absolutely unique in the area, sitting on such large grounds give total privacy. Still within driving distance you can find so much to explore or do.

We have been 2 families and we have spent a wonderful time at this place. You must consider, this is a very remote place. Really quiet and calm, which we really enjoyed. But for day trips this is something you have to take into consideration. Everything was clean and in parts renewed ... nothing really to complain from our side. Especially the pool (just renewed) got huge attention from the kids ;)

Als wir angekommen sind das Haus mit Grundstück inspiziert haben, stellten wir einige Mängel fest. Ein Zimmer war voller Termiten, die nur durch eine dünne Folie an der Decke gehalten wurden. Diese war jedoch löchrig. Die Hollywood Schaukel am Pool war kaputt und die Gärtenmöbel schon sehr instabil. Es lagen überall Zigaretten kippen und altes und kaputtes Spielzeug herum.Als wir die Besitzerin über FeWo kontaktiert haben kam keine Antwort, bis heute hat sich sich nicht dazu geäußert . Das ist sehr schade, weil das Anwesen an sich wirklich schön ist und man es deutlich mehr wertschätzen sollte!!!!

Check In war okay. Schlüssel befand sich wie mitgeteilt am Ort. Alles in allem war es dort schön. Schöner Pool. Kids hatten Freude. Küche bräuchte dringend eine Grundreinigung. Abzugshaube eklig. Gegend sehr abgelegen und ziemlich weit weg zur Hauptstraße. Info über die Mülltrennung wäre noch gut gewesen. Müll von Vorgänger war bis zur unserer Abreise nicht abgeholt worden.

Es ist ein außerordentlich gut ausgestattetes, großzügig eingerichtetes Haus, das alles bietet, was man benötigt. Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und umsichtig und liefern eine genaue Anfahrtsbeschreibung und alle wichtigen Infos. Wenn man gern in einer touristisch eher ruhigen Gegend Urlaub macht, ist es ein Paradies.

Nur für Abenteurer

Der geplante Aufenthalt von 14 Nächten begrenzte sich auf eine. Es war nicht auszuhalten. In der Außenanlage war überall Müll, es war sehr ungepflegt, die Folie vom Pool kaputt. Der Pool war dreckig, nicht im Betrieb. Die eigentliche Rasenfläche war nur noch Unkraut. In der Villa ging es so weiter, die Heizung war aus, somit das ganze Haus feucht. Es roch modrig wo es ging, wenn es nicht vom Chlorgeruch der letzten schnellen Reinigung überboten wurde. Die Betten waren durch die feuchte Luft klamm. Ein Bett und ein Kleiderschrank waren total kaputt, ein weiterer Schrank abgeschlossen. Das Haus an sich ist total schön mit einem nicht einsehbaren Grundstück. Was daraus gemacht wurde bzw. was angeboten wird hat nicht mit einem FERIEN-Haus zu tun. Leider, nicht empfehlenswert.

Schöne ältere Unterkunft mit einigen Mängel

Positiv: Riesiges Haus, wir waren 5 Erwachsene, 5 Kinder. Sehr schöner und grosser Pool. Gute Raumaufteilung Sehr gute Ausstattung in der Küche, Wohnzimmer, Waschküche. Jede Menge Spielzeug und Wasserspielzeug für Kinder (jedoch einiges kaputt oder unvollständig.. Negativ: die Realität weicht in vielen Punkten von den Bildern der Anzeige ab. D.h. Bilder sind schon einige Zeit her. Z.b. fehlender Pavillon über den Esstisch im freien. Grillstelle oder Poolanlage mit Liegen Betten nicht sehr bequem, alte Federkernmatratzen. An einigen Stellen verschmutzt, z.b. unapettitlicher Dunstabzug in der Küche. Beide Kühlschränke müssten wir erstmal abtauen. Poolfolie kaputt. Lage: oben am Berg. Sehr ruhig, aber auch sehr abgelegen. Keine Nachbarn, man kann hier laut sein. Es waren einige Kleinigkeiten, die nicht passten. Wir hatten trotzdem eine schöne Woche! Alles in allem: tolle Villa mit sehr viel Potential, welche allerdings nicht ausgeschöpft wird

Sehr schönes Haus in den Bergen der Toskana. Leider ohne Auto schwer zu erreichen, kein Lokaler Bus. Man hat total seine Ruhe und kann auch laute Musik spielen. Sehr großer Wohnraum. Toller Grill und Lagerfeuerstelle. Pool Area sehr sauber und erfrischend! Liegen in top Zustand mit abstellbrett für Drinks. Sehr geeignet für junge Gruppen

Das Ferienhaus mit Umgebung und Pool ist sehr schön. Der Sitzplatz mit Feuerstelle ist wunderbar. Im ganzen Haus, inkl. der Zimmer war es relativ feucht. Mangelhaft war die Sauberkeit des Geschirrs und sonstigem Küchenequipment. Vorallem das Besteck war nicht sauber gewaschen. Vor Gebrauch musste alles nochmals gespühlt werden.

Hi, we are the Lafferty family and the proud owners of Villa Alla Marginetta. The Villa has been a project of love as it took so long to get the Villa exactly the way we wanted. But now we have a home away from home. We live in Moscow with our 2 children, Meghan & David. The eldest Keelin lives in Miami. Irina is the CFO a large Russian company while I am semi-retired. Previously i was managing partner of operations for a large multinational. As I am multiple amputee I decided to lighten the work load. Irina and I have a love of travel so we do get to Italy as often as possible, along with other places. We got into properties many years ago and now have places in Russia, Thailand, Bulgaria, USA and Italy. Irina is from Russia while I originally come from Ireland.

Why they chose this property

We have been coming to Italy on so many holidays and in the last 10 years always seem to gravitate to Pescaglia & Lucca area. Tuscany is such a beautiful hospitable place with some fine food. Alla Marginetta was our attempt at building a home away from home. While at times it can be frustrating the rewards at the end make it well worth it. Alla Marginetta has been a real project of love and care, we would do it all again in a heartbeat. We picked the area as particularly like Lucca and Pescaglia it is not overrun by tourists as other parts can be and the locals are very friendly. We picked this spot because it is nice and remote, very private yet you are quiet close to so many places. We wanted a villa that you could sit in for a week without the need to leave, Alla Marginetta is that and a lot more. Also, the weather is really good, it is hot but not too hot. When we stay we have so much to see and do while not driving too far, plus when we want silence this is the best place to hideaway. It is a great place for Mountain walking or fishing. There are so many nice restaurants nearby.

What makes this property unique

The villa is very secluded and private yet you are still close enough to everywhere. With 2 Gazebo's and an large open Stone fire you have good places to relax and enjoy yourself. The 12 Metre pool is beautful, has a very large Gazebo and is totally private. All you can hear is the river below.
