The whole family found the stay comfortable and relaxing. Everything was supplied for a carefree stay. The location was vey good. Would certainly recommend and hope to return in the future. Thanks for a wonderful break.
I picked Criccieth because I knew it a little and have friends that live in the area, but was very pleasantly surprised with what it had to offer, (great fish and chip shop, coffee and ice cream places)
My son wanted to cycle in the Llyn peninsula and I wanted to sight see such things as Portmeirion, so an excellent location. The house itself very well situated next to the castle overlooking Cardigan Bay. Very well appointed house with everything you need. If we get a chance we will be back.
When we arrived, we were wowed by the views from the front of the property. There is an amazing view of both the sea and the castle. Then we went inside of the property and insrantly felt at home. The house and back garden have so many quirky and individual touches that made it feel special; we loved all of the different artwork throughout the property. Everything that we could possibly need was right there for us. We had the best weekend and will definitely book for a return visit.

About the host
Hosted by Jane Pinnington
I live in Cheshire with my husband Mark. We have 8 children between us and a scruffy little dog called kitty. Mark works as a lecturer at Liverpool university and I am a support worker for the elderly with Dementia. Mark and I are big Harley Davidson fans and when we are not enjoying our house in Criccieth we are enjoying ride outs with our pals on the bike.
Why they chose this property
Our families have always holidayed in Criccieth; our parents, and us as parents with our children. Mark & I married here in Criccieth, and when Ardro came up for sale, we knew it was the home for us. Mark's parents honeymooned 3 doors away from Ardro in 1947. Criccieth and it's way of life is in our blood. If your still in any doubt please check out our reviews.
What makes this property unique
We benefit from the peace & tranquillity that comes with being by the sea in a town that has essentially remained unchanged for decades. Walking (or just sitting) on the beach replenishes the soul. Fishing from the beach or just net fishing from the rock pools while dolphin watching cannot be beaten.
