About this property
River View - Cosy country cottage. Ideal for a family and pets welcome.
Overlooking the River Wear, this converted farm building is peacefully situated in Frosterley in Weardale with in an AONB.
The cottage makes a wonderful base to explore the surrounding area with its rugged upland, fertile valleys and historical landmarks. Weardale is very popular to both walkers and cyclists with its numerous paths and cycle ways.
The cottage sleeps four people comfortably and is ideal for families. The gardens and grounds are shared with other cottage users but there is ample space for everyone. The matured gardens have ponds (toddlers beware), decked patio areas, seating and a summerhouse ideal for a bit of quiet reading time. The gardens prove popular with children who often make use of the swings, trampoline, and games room which has a pool table, games, books, tv and wii console.
