The National Park of Arrabida's flora is unique in the context of Europe. Some areas still have the 13th century vegetation type of Europe's medieval forests.It has been recently classified as UNESCO BIOSPHERE RESERVE.
There are hundreds of species of flora,fish,birds,mammals the bigest beeing the wild boar.You can watch birds and other species except the wild boar (although they show up in properties in late night searching for water you can only see them at some beaches getting food from tourists during day time).
There are hundreds of trails surveyed by forest guards; 5 beautiful nearby beaches (4km); three excellent golf courses (4-15km); another 3 golf courses (50km by motorway); horse riding (5km); dozens of excellent fish restaurants (4-15km - Azeitão, and Setúbal); wine cellars (Lancers and Matheus Rosé, at 4Km); fishing boats rental (Setúbal,15 km);guided walks through the National Park; bird watching; scuba diving; dolphins watch (4-10Km); 4x4 trips to discover hidden-away places in Arrabida, etc.
There are two old castles - Setúbal and Palmela - (15km) turned into Inns with excellent chef cuisine.
Vila Nogueira de Azeitao (4km) has supermarkets, coffee shops, restaurants, banks, pharmacy, medical services, wine cellars and shops, regional sweets shops, handicraft shops, tile factory shops, Azeitão Cheese Museum, Azeitão Wine Museum, etc.
Azeitão is especially famous for its cheese, regional sweets, sweet wines and muscatels. Most wine cellars are open to the public.
Excellent location for visiting Lisbon and surroundings (40 min by motorway). Sintra and Cascais resorts 1h15 by motorway.

Nous avons passé d’excellentes vacances dans cette magnifique maison. La vue est tout simplement splendide. La piscine est très grande et très agréable. Le terrain de foot a été un plus pour nos enfants ! La maison est confortable et la climatisation permet de mieux supporter la chaleur estivale.
