Gwel Enys is one of only 5 properties in Trelissick Court, an attractive building hung with traditional Cornish slate tiles. There are 2 private dedicated parking spaces for each property and its position overlooking St Ives Bay gives stunning sea and harbour views. Set in beautiful and well maintained gardens and lawn, it is ideal for both families and couples, having safe areas for children to play, and sunny spots for adults to relax. This ground floor apartment has been fully refurbished and tastefully decorated to a high standard in fresh coastal colours. There is a bright, open plan lounge with kitchen and dining area, and patio doors leading directly out onto the large terrace, perfect for eating al fresco. The master bedroom has a king size bed and en-suite with large shower, and the second bedroom has twin beds. The family bathroom has a bath with overhead shower. There is free super fast fibre Broadband and smart TV available at the apartment.

If this Apartment is already booked, our family also have another Apartment in the same building, “Atlantic Aspect” Flat 4 is on the First floor (Property No 10182541). For larger family groups who wish to book 2 apartments, both apartments can be booked together (subject to availability)

Both apartments are ideally situated, being in the peaceful and more exclusive "Belyars" area of St Ives, yet still only a short stroll down to the town. The harbour and all the stunning beaches of St Ives are within easy walking distance.

Lovely views
Couldn’t take my eyes off the views from the apartment. Had a little trouble on arrival as hadn’t received the key box code and property owner number went straight to voicemail. Apartment was a little sparse in cooking equipment but everything was clean. Beds were comfy and water was strong and hot out of the shower (very important). Great to have parking and bus to and from St Ives town centre easy.

This is one of our all time favorite Vrbo locations. We stay in 8 to 10 a year. This apartment was very clean, well located, and comfortable. Awesome view. We would be very happy to spend a couple of months there.

Toller Ausblick auf St Ives
Die Wohnung war sehr schön, großzügig und sauber. Man hat einen tollen Ausblick und die Gegend ist ruhig. Der Küchenbereich ist sehr gut und es ist alles da um was zuzubereiten. Die Terrasse ist großzügig aber es gehen andere Bewohner dort drüber um in ihr App. zu gelangen. Alle waren immer sehr freundlich und es hat uns nicht gestört. Wenn die Wohnung darüber bewohnt ist, hört man schon jeden Gang. Unterhalb des Hauses geht eine Treppe hinunter in die Stadt. Hier sollte man mobil sein! Um die Ecke ist auch ein Bus Stop. Es war ein schöner Aufenthalt und alles perfekt vom Gastgeber organisiert. Wir würden wieder kommen. Vielen Dank 😀

Beautiful unit with spectacular views
Loved this charming ground-floor unit (we were grateful for no stairs!) Ample parking. Very clean and well appointed. Lots of sunny windows and views. Easy walk down to the village, but wish we took the bus back to the Leisure Center, which is just down the road. Use of communal clothes washer and dryer was convenient, though the wash cycle seemed a bit long. Would recommend and gladly return.

We are a family of four from Worcestershire, and we have been drawn to the beauty of St Ives for many years. Its combination of fabulous beaches, traditional Cornish harbour, beautiful scenery and great food makes the perfect place for a family holiday and it holds a special place in our hearts.

Why they chose this property

When we were finally able to realise our dream of buying a holiday home in St Ives, we were delighted to discover that there was a flat for sale, where we had actually stayed ourselves, during a wonderful week's holiday in 2006. Another visit confirmed that it had everything we were hoping for: light spacious rooms, fabulous views and patio, and the all important (and rare) parking spaces. What's more, it was in the quieter, sought-after Belyars area of St Ives, yet still only a few minutes' walk into the heart of the town.
We have loved creating our Cornish home from home, and have named it "Gwel Enys," which means "Island View," to reflect the beautiful view of the Island which can be seen from the living room and terrace.

What makes this property unique

What we love most about Gwel Enys, is being able to throw open the patio doors and enjoy the terrace as an outdoor room, with the large gardens as a safe place for children to play. Having fast fibre Broadband and a second bathroom is extremely useful now that we have two teenagers! The two parking spaces also mean that different branches of the family can come and go as they please.
