Expensive for the standard of property
The process of getting into the flat was complicated with having to try and navigate through 2 electric gates/doors with suitcases and off a main street. Once in the flat, we were disappointed in it's standard. It wasn't the cleanest, all fixtures amd furnishings are very dated and not a true reflection of the online listing. We arrived late so pretty much went straight to bed. Our host messaged and asked to meet at 8am so an early rise (for being on holiday). She arrived after another message to her at 8.30am. We were instructed to ensure all ac units were off when we were out, all lights were switched off and to keep the noise to a minimum when we were on the balcony at night. A neighbour complained about noise of the outdoor ac unit over night whilst we were speaking to our host so in an indirect way, it was intimated that the ac unit in the bedroom should be off at night. It was fixed the following day. She also asked for the 3.50 euros per person per day tax which we were unaware needed paid. Both shower temperatures were intimitant and nedded to be run for 5 minutes plus before they remained hot. When I raised this i was told to turn the water on in the kitchen and only 1 shower should be used at a time; this obviously never worked. All rooms have sensors on the lights, so when you are in the middle of a shower the light goes off. On the last morning we had no power and told we probably had too many items on. On a positive - the outside space is excellent.
