The Anastasio apartment is located a few steps from the Vatican walls (300 meters from the Metro stop Line A Cyprus - Vatican Museums). Recently renovated, it is located on the top floor (accessible by elevator) of a quiet building. It has two bedrooms (one with a double bed and the other with two single beds that can become a double), a lounge, kitchenette and two bathrooms (one complete with a shower and another with a service). The bedrooms are air conditioned and each has a comfortable sofa bed. The apartment is fully furnished and equipped with all comforts (free Wi-Fi internet, dishes, microwave oven, dishes, glasses, sheets, towels, TV, washing machine, iron).
The apartment can accommodate a maximum of 4 adults plus 2 minors.
Near the apartment there are bars, pharmacies, pizzerias, restaurants, supermarkets, beauty salons, private garages, banks.

The property is nicely located in an area that has many unique restaurants and several markets and bakeries all within walking distance. It is a 25 minute walk to the Vatican and more unique places to eat and shop. Max is an exceptional host taking us on a short walking tour to learn the neighborhood and area. The apartment has a balcony we can sit on, was big enough for 4 adults and has all the amenities you need for your stay.

Loved the area

Great location, close to metro. Lots of great shopping and restaurants in the area. Short walk to the Vatican museums entrance. Max is a caring host with lots of good recommendations. Would stay here again!

Excellent apt - highly recommend

Great apt within easy walk to Vatican and metro. Max was a great owner who responded quickly to my many email inquiries. Kitchen has everything you need and wifi was great. Restaurants nearby were excellent and small coffee shops were perfect for quick breakfasts or for takeout. Would definitely stay here again!

Relaxing Stay

Max was so helpful to us during our vacation. He met us at the Metro station and walked us around the neighborhood. It was our anniversary, so he made recommendations for a romantic restaurant and left a bottle in the fridge for us. The apartment was close to the metro station and Vatican. We enjoyed our stay and Max even took our luggage to metro station, lift was broken. Couldn’t have asked for a better host!

A clean and conveniently situated property

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Rome despite some mixed weather. Max thoughtfully provided all we needed, including a list of things to do and good places to eat, and was extremely accommodating. The living/dining area is compact but comfortable and adequately equipped; the bedrooms on the other hand are large.

Decent accommodation

The condo is nice, unfortunately was on the 7 floor and the elevator didn’t work for 3 of our 4 days stay. The owner is very friendly and help us bring the luggage down. Overall it’s a nice budget condo to stay and it’s close to the subway and the Vatican.

Loved the Neighborhood

This was a great apartment, very clean, well equipt and so convenient. The neighborhood, right near the Vatican, is away from the tourist crowds and so close to groceries, pastries, cafe, metro and taxis. Our family of four was very comfortable and the extra half bathroom was really a plus. Max was great, he met us and showed us how everything worked in the apartment, then he gave us a walking tour of the neighborhood and showed us the best pizza and canoli places. Max even provided even some things, like milk, in the refrigerator to get us started. Apartment is on 7th floor, easily accessed by elevator, so it is above the noise and secure to leave the balcony doors open for the breeze which we enjoyed. Loved this place, I would recommend it to anyone and would stay here again.

Great host, clean & spacious apartment.

Max is a great host. He met us at Cipro Metro station and walked us to the apartment. His communication was excellent before & during our stay. The apartment is on the 7th/top floor of a 60/70s style block in a pleasant area with plenty of restaurants & cafes. A 24 hour Carrefour is nearby with another supermarket opposite. The apartment is very clean and the pictures are accurate. The aircon is good and Max kindly provided welcome beers , water, iced tea & orange juice. The walk to the metro is 3 minutes. Overall a really good stay. We came for the Ryder Cup, so with early starts and late finishes we didn’t spend a lot of time in the apartment. It suited our needs perfectly. Thanks Max , regards Andy

We liked it very much.

We stayed in the apartment for 5 nights and we loved it. The apartment is very clean, the beds are good and there is air-condition in the bedrooms. The bathrooms are very nice and there is everything you need in the kitchen. The contact with Max was great; he even sent me a photo of the inside of the elevator, because our handicapped son uses a special - needs buggy. We found something to drink in the fridge and Max explained everything, including the shops and the neighbourhood and how to get to the Vatican. When we had to leave Max called us a taxi. We could walk to the metro station which has an elevator. Unfortunately the weather was bad with lots of heavy rain – bad luck. It is much nicer to stay in an apartment than in a hotel. Thank you Max for your help with everything.

Roomy apartment close to the Vatican

The other reviews are completely accurate. Max is extremely responsive and helpful- the introductory tour of the neighbourhood helps to understand the area and see his recommended food places. The pizza place was amazing and we ate there (or got takeout) multiple times. The cafe was also handy. It would be great if the common area was larger to allow more people to sit comfortably- there is just a love seat for relaxing together. As others noted the shower was a bit small but based on the rest of our travels in Italy the small corner shower seems to be the standard and it was completely manageable. But those are small things compared to all the positives. As a family of four with three females it was extremely helpful to have a second half bath. It was also wonderful to have a washer and a covered balcony to hang to dry. We personally appreciated being in a neighbourhood away from the busy tourist areas. We were able to easily walk to the Vatican, Borghese, Spanish Steps. Thank you Max for all of your help, a great stay, and we look forward to trying your other restaurant recommendations.

Clean, close to metro and a helpful host!

We liked the location of the apartment. It was close to the metro, a short walk to the Vatican, and there was a supermarket and several delicious gelaterias close by. It was quiet and we felt like we were in a community. The Italians who lived in the building would smile and say, "Buon giorno." This apartment was very spacious and comfortable. Our two teenage daughters appreciated the two bathrooms, the nice shower, the large bedroom with twin beds and extra space, and the WIFI! My husband and I liked the 2nd bedroom with the large wardrobe to store our suitcase and hang clothes. We used the washing machine and utilized the balcony for quickly drying clothes. The kitchen was well stocked and had quite a large refrigerator. The dining area opened to the living area which made it feel more spacious. Max was a very helpful host. We communicated via email and he was quick to answer questions, give directions, and suggestions for restaurants and even great places to watch sunsets :-). He met us at the metro station and walked us to the apartment. We appreciated his thoughtfulness... providing a cell phone to text him questions about anything during our stay (and he responded very quickly), bringing an umbrella since there were rainstorms in the forecast, and stocking the refrigerator with milk, water, and soda for our arrival. Max speaks English very well and was friendly, warm, and easy to talk to. :-) We started our trip in Rome (and it was our first time to Italy), so we greatly appreciated his help and we felt from like we had a friend in Rome. Thank you, Max, for a wonderful Roman holiday!

Wonderful stay

This is a clean, comfortable place to stay, very close to the Vatican. It is also close to the Cipro train station, which is convenient. Use the train, not the bus! Max is a superb host, very helpful and kind.

An exceptional stay?

Our host could not have been better! Met us at the metro, walked us to the rental while telling us about the area, the world award winning pizza shop (verified), transportation, gricery store, bakery and the BEST gelato in the area.Host exceeded expectations by helping us the day AFTER our stay, as we had challenges that he was able to help us with, which he did with pleasure.Everything about the rental was great and the host exceptional! A great apartment in a great location!

The property and the neighborhood were clean and quiet. The beds are very comfortable. It was nice to have 2 bathrooms. We really enjoyed our stay. Max was a dream host. Everything was communicated well and clearly. Its easy to catch a cab right outside the door. The neighborhood is very walkable with lots of great restaurants close by.
