Lovely place to stay, Arturo and Marcella were so welcoming and made us feel really at home. Well-stocked kitchen and lovely outdoor back yard area, perfect for sitting out for meals. Easy access to Trastevere and central Rome on regular buses (bus stop is 2 minutes walk away).
Hosts were very helpful during check-in and with any questions we had. Lovely apartment in quiet neighborhood close to some restaurants and supermarkets. Loved the outdoor area where a mating pair of turtle doves had a nest in a tree and would visit when you were outside. Overall great stay with great hosts.
Apartment was in a quieter area of Rome with some restaurants and cafes. Easy access to bus to get around Rome. The host were very helpful and quick in their replies. The apt was spacious enough for 4 adults to share.
We stayed three nights - Arturo and Marcella were exceptional hosts. Their apt is a little outside of town in a quiet area (which we loved), but quite accessible via public transportation.
Arturo welcomed us into his home and showed us around. While many hosts feel more like landlords, Arturo was a true host. When we left he made sure to wish us well and see us off. The apartment is well-kept, sparkling clean, and had everything we wanted. It was a little tricky figuring out how to get to the sites in Rome, but when we figured out the tram (many steps to climb I the way home!) and the bus (#75) everything was smooth. Lovely restaurants and gelaterias within a few blocks. Highly recommend!
The property is well equipped, clean and beautifully coolThe location is ideal for easy public transport routes to all the main sights and only a short walk from the vibrant TrastevereThe hosts Marcella & Arturo were so lovely and provided us with lots of information Highly recommend We will be back
we were met on arrival (early) by Arturo and Marcella. They could not have been more lovely. So helpful with absolutely everything. They took us in their car all around the neighborhood and pointed everything out to us. They dropped us off at a cafe where we had dinner and then pointed out where to get a taxi back. The next morning they dropped us off near St. Peter’s. They were both so gracious and hospitable. The apartment had everything we needed and was very clean. We loved spending time there.
This property was perfect for a trip to Rome. Located in a quiet neighborhood; a great escape from the hustle and bustle of sight seeing around the city. Arturo was an excellent host who communicated prior to, and during our stay with no problems at all. Would recommend to anyone looking to explore Rome.
Nice, friendly, and reliable hosts. We found everything as described. Great surroundings, easy access to the city center. We had an incident there and could have stayed longer at no extra cost. We met two great people, Marcella and Arturo. We can definitely recommend the accommodation. If we want to go to Rome again, we will stay there. Best wishes from Yovana, Sole, Gaby, and Giuli. Grazie mille e arrivederci
Great location in a residential area in Trastevere. Quiet and spacious with a beautiful garden. Arturo made us feel so at home, gave us great local recommendations when it rained and even drove us to the airport! The beds were very comfortable. Highly recommend!
Arturo and his wife have a beautiful apartment. The location is very good for getting to know Rome. Close to the center by bus and walking to visit Trastevere. The garden of the house is beautiful. I definitely recommend it.
We really enjoyed our stay with Marcella and Arturo. They were so kind, helpful and made sure we had all the info needed to get around easily. The 2 bedroom apartment was very clean and comfortable with a well equipped kitchen. The patio was a nice place to relax and enjoy the sounds of the neighborhood.
Arturo and his wife Marcella were absolutely charming. They personally welcomed us, and gave us a quick tour of the property. They had a map and provided us with useful information and tips on how to get around, on public transportation, and places to check out in the area. The apartment was spacious, and had everything we needed. Best part was that it was conveniently located near bus stops that took us directly to the Colosseum and Vatican City. Highly recommend staying here!
Nice stay with family of four. Host very accommodating of our late check in, which was much appreciated after a long journey with two small kids. Well equipped kitchen with staples making home cooking easy. A little walk to the cafes and shops. Just need to take care with food as ants quickly appear if left out. A great stay for us, thanks Marcella and Arturo!
Spacious, very clean and very well equipped apartment with a nice garden in a quieter area of the city but still with a good selection of shops, cafes, restaurants and a small market nearby. Main attractions can be reached on foot or via good local transport links with bus stops very close to the apartment. Great communication with Arturo and Marcella prior to and on arrival. They are welcoming, friendly hosts who provided lots of useful information about the local area and the city in general. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
Arturo was a great and friendly host! The apartment was just as described and Monteverde is a nice area of Rome away from the crowds but close enough to walk to Trastevere (if you can handle the steps/hill). Has everything you need, great for families. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again.
The apartment was well situated with lots of restaurants, supermarkets and public transport near by. It was very clean and all the facilities we could need. Marcella and Arturo had thought of everything to make our stay as easy and comfortable as possible. Hope to be back. Gratzie mille!
The appartment is as described with a good kitchen and nice outside area. It's situated in a quiet residential neigbourhood with everything nearby, café, restaurants, even a drinksbar with mocktails for the teenagers. Arturo and his wife are very helpful hosts and we had a very good stay.
The property was very charming, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The area is perfect- walking distance to all the main sites but quiet and we loved the courtyard garden (when it stopped raining). The hosts are very friendly and helpful. Couldn't have chosen a better place to stay for our 6 nights in Rome. Good local restaurants and a lovely park and plenty of amenities very nearby.
