If you would like to enjoy seeing the sights of Rome and then relax in a quiet place far from traffic noise, you can choose Casa Fratocchi apartment. Located just a few underground stops away from the most important sights in Rome, the apartment is the annex of a one family house in Rome that lies in a quiet neighbourhood far from the traffic noise of big cities but very near to the metro station of Arco di Travertino with which is very easy to reach the centre of the town. The apartment has 2 bedrooms, 1 with double bed (on request we can add another bed) and the other with 2 single beds, one bath with shower and a well-equipped kitchen (microwave, mixer). TV, free WI-FI and air conditioning are available. A table and four chairs under a garden umbrella let you have lunch or dinner outside when the weather is good and let you relax after a long sightseeing of Rome. On request you can park in the courtyard(for a small extra charge).


To respect our environment we have solar panels to produce warm water

In the neighbourhood: Parco della Caffarella (Appia Antica Park): from here you can take a pleasant and long walk or ride to the Appia Antica. You can rent bicycles near the park. Parco dell' Antica via Latina contains the tombs of the ancient Roman time with very important stucco and fresco decorations.

Connections: Connection to the centre: Underground A (red line) - Bus 85. Appia Antica (Tomb of Cecilia Metella - St. Sebastian catacombs): Bus 660 - By bicycle. A sanctuary in the city

The apartment was very clean, had everything you needed and the host does an excellent job of assisting with anything and makes great offers for local places. The house is secure and even though it is in the center of the city you can’t hear it. After the chaos of Rome it was great to retreat back to this place. I can’t recommend this place enough.

Martina was a great host, welcomed us in person and the house had a manual for meeting our needs
 from using the AC, to where the closest grocery stores were. Their dog Lucy was a lovely addition, she welcomed us cheerfully every time we came home. Transportation is within walking distance and it was a nice quiet street. I would definitely stay there again.

Available, very nice, and welcoming host. Also enjoyed seeing their quiet and gentle dog every day. The house was charming, with a nice private yard,and all the conveniences. Few minute walk to the metro A line. Nice local and non-touristy neighborhood, including with archaeological sites to visit. Good restaurants, and nearby grocery store. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you, Martina and Leonardo!

Ruhig gelegene Unterkunft

Die Unterkunft ist ruhig gelegen, auch wenn man ab und an ein Flugzeug hört, was aber nicht weiter stört. Die Betten sind bequem, die KĂŒche gut ausgestattet. Einzig eine Kanne o.Ă€. fehlte uns etwas. Martina ist sehr freundlich und war immer gut erreichbar, wenn man eine Frage hat. Zur VerfĂŒgung steht auch eine schöner Gartenbereich. Aufgrund der GartennĂ€he sind Ameisen mit von der Partie, was uns aber nicht störte.

Super Wohnung - der Abschied fiel schwer

Wir hatten eine tolle Kurzwoche in Rom. Die Wohnung ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man benötigt. Uns waren die zwei getrennten Schlafzimmer wichtig - TOP! Der Supermarkt in der direkten NĂ€he machte ein schnelles FrĂŒhstĂŒck ebenso einfach, wie ein schnelles Abendessen nach einem langen Touri-Tag. Die Metro-Anbindung ist super - somit ist man in 15 Minuten mitten im Zentrum. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefĂŒhlt-Martina stand immer mit Rat und Tat zur Seite.Der von ihr organisierte Taxi-Transfer zum Flughafen lief ebenfalls super. Wenn wir Rom erneut besuchen, wissen wir wo wir wohnen wollen!

Tolle Unterkunft fĂŒr Urlaub in Rom

Es ist alles vorhanden, was man fĂŒr einen Aufenthalt in Rom benötigt. KĂŒhlschrank mit Eisfach, Herd mit Backofen, Kaffee, SpĂŒlmitel usw. Man kann einfach einchecken und sich wohlfĂŒhlen. Die Betreiberin ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit und jederzeit erreichbar. Mit dieser sind die SehenswĂŒrdigkeiten in Rom in 15-20 Min. zu erreichen. Man konnte sein Auto sogar in der Unterkunft abstellen und musste nicht auf der Straße parken, was uns auch sehr wichtig war. In unmittelbarer NĂ€he befindet sich ein Supermarkt welcher von 08.00 - 20.00 Uhr geöffnet ist. Auch die Metro ist zu Fuß in 5 Min. zu erreichen. Einziger Nachteil war die Klimaanlage, welche am ersten Tag nur im Elternschlafzimmer ging und im Kinderzimmer nicht so richtig. Am zweiten Tag ging die Klima im Elternschlafzimmer aus und nicht mehr an, was bei 37 C (im Schatten) fast unertrĂ€glich war.

We had a lovely stay at this property. The owner was flexible with our arrival times and greeted us on our way in with some tips for navigating the area. The area across the road is a little run down looking, but we never felt unsafe. The house was beautiful, with a nice little patio to sit on in the mornings. There is also a metro station just down the road for easy transportation to and from the city and she also offered to set up our cab to the airport on the day of our departure. I will definitely be keeping this property in mind if we visit again!

Sehr gut gelegene Wohnung

Die Unterkunft ist sehr gut gelegen, hat alles was man braucht sowie einen zubuchbaren Stellplatz im Hof. Die Metro, der Bus, ein Supermarkt und weiteres sind schnell zu Fuß erreichbar. Die Vermieterin ist auch sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Roma - Reise in die Vergangenheit

Die Casa von Martina und Ihrer Familie mit der tollen WachhĂŒndin war uns ein entspanntes Kleinod im Herzen Roms, was dank seiner ruhigen Lage in unmittelbarer NĂ€he zur U-Bahn genau der richtige Ausgleich nach dem Tag in einer lauten und historisch vollgepackten Stadt wie Rom war. Der nĂ€chste Supermarkt war auch super fußlĂ€ufig zu erreichen. Alles in allem ein toller Trip zurĂŒck in die Vergangenheit.👍

Ruhige Wohnung, die ĂŒber die Metro idealen Zugang nach Rom zulĂ€sst.

Das wichtigste zunĂ€chst, Martina ist eine wunderbare Gastgeberin, die um das wohl Ihrer GĂ€ste Ă€ußerst bemĂŒht ist. Die Wohnung selbst ist fĂŒr zwei Personen ausreichend groß und gut ausgestattet. Die Lage ist ruhig. Ein angeschlossener Garten, erlaubt abendliche Entspannung. FĂŒr den tĂ€glichen Bedarf sind GeschĂ€fte in der NĂ€he. Der Weg zu den SehenswĂŒrdigkeiten Roms ist mit der ebenfalls in FussnĂ€he gelegenen Metrostation sehr schnell und bequem. Danke fĂŒr die Gastfreundschaft.

Tolle Basis fĂŒr AusflĂŒge nach Rom

Die tolle Wohnung liegt ideal. Dank der U-Bahn ist man in nur 20 Minuten im Zentrum. Direkt in der Nachbarschaft ist ein klasse Supermarkt und auch ein CafĂ© fĂŒr das FrĂŒhstĂŒck. Martina und ihre Familie wohnen auf dem gleichen GrundstĂŒck und sind fĂŒr Fragen eine wertvolle Hilfe. Alles ist sehr sauber und wir bekamen sogar nach 2 Tagen frische HandtĂŒcher. Wenn wir nochmal nach Rom fahren werden wir wieder diese Wohnung buchen.

Un havre de paix prĂšs de Rome

La location est trÚs agréable et fonctionnelle avec un jardin qui est un véritable havre de paix. Elle est située à quelques kilomÚtres des principaux sites historiques. Martina vous accueille chaleureusement et sera vous conseiller. Nous recommandons vivement cette location pour ceux qui recherche un logement au calme à quelques encablures de l'effervescence de Rome.

We would highly recommend this fantastic apartment, it is clean, very well kept and equipped and met all our needs for our four night stay in Rome. Great access to the metro, easy to leave the busy Rome central in just a few stops and have such a peaceful place.

Unterkunft wie beschrieben

Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit der Unterkunft und die Lage ist gĂŒnstig, um Rom anzuschauen. Der Garten ist sehr schön und ruhig. Die Unterkunft ist grĂ¶ĂŸer gewesen, als wir gedacht haben. ParkgebĂŒhren kommen noch zusĂ€tzlich hinzu, wenn man den Stellplatz im Hof nutzen möchte.

Einfach perfekt

Das Haus liegt mitten in Rom 3 Minuten zur Metro. Absolut ruhig. 10Minuten per Rad zur Via Appia Antica. Es ist alles was man fĂŒr eine StĂ€dtereise benötigt in der Unterkunft und man kann im Garten sitzen. MĂŒckenschutz an allen Fenstern. Super sauber! Und die Vermieterin ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit.

Gite confortable au calme proche ligne métro pour aller au centre

Nous avons beaucoup apprĂ©ciĂ© de nous retrouver au calme dans ce logement avec un jardin aprĂšs de longues marches pour visiter Rome qui Ă©tait Ă  15 mn en mĂ©tro sur la ligne principale A. Rien ne manquait dans le logement et la literie trĂšs confortable. Nous n'Ă©tions pas loin de l'ancienne voie romain (via appia) qui est dans un trĂšs grand parc trĂšs agrĂ©able. Martina, notre hĂŽtesse a toujours Ă©tĂ© trĂšs agrĂ©able et prĂȘte Ă  nous aider quand nous en avions besoin. Nous n'hĂ©siterons pas Ă  revenir loger ici si nous revenons dans cette ville maqique.
