Fantastic house, beautiful pool and so peaceful. The garden had wild orchids growing! Had a glorious 3 weeks exploring local villages, eating out and relaxing.
Lovely location for those looking for peace and quiet
Great spacious property, everything you need with a lovely pool. Ideal if you are looking to get away from it all and enjoy some peace and tranquility. Hugh, the property manager was very helpful and easily contactable if needed.
We have stayed at Las Brugues several times now. Fabulous accommodation, wonderful location. During our stay the temperature soared to 40c on several days so the ability to cool off in the large pool was a blessing. Cannot recommend this property enough.
Lovely rural France, nestled in amongst fields of sunflowers, sweet corn and with some charming little villages close at hand, Las Bruges was just what we expected, rural, rustic charm in a perfect location. The property itself is more than adequate, plenty of space, lovely pool area and stunning views across the beautiful rolling countryside; everything we needed to enjoy a relaxing stay… Hugo (who looks after the property for the owner) was on hand for anything we needed and was also very knowledgeable about the local area (restaurants, amenities etc.) and called by 3 or 4 times during our stay!

Know this area well as seasoned gite holidaymakers. Location super and property easy to find . Pool is a good size. We had everything we needed but the photos are old and in general for the size and price band the property and decor is in need of an update. Towels and linen clean but needed more for duration of stay, toilet paper and hand soap were basic. On site Property managers were so friendly.
We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful house and fantastic pool. The equipment at the pool is also fine (sunbeds and umbrellas). The gas barbecue by the pool is also in good condition and can be used for larger groups. If you are looking for peace and quiet, this accommodation is a great choice! If I may give a tip: A screen for the bedroom windows to keep the bugs out would be a good addition. Hugh, thanks for your interesting stories!
Converted farmhouse with scenic views over tye valley and hills. The view from the newly lined pool were great. There is a lovely terrace for sitting out and shady dining. There was no internet while we were tgere and tge phone connection only realky worked outside for some of us. Its a super area with the charming bastide towns aling the pilgrim route. Quite early in tge year and not all reataurants were open. Would come again !

The property is superb and the location is secluded which was perfect for us. The local towns and March Gourmonde were superb. We visited some of the larger towns Mosssaic snd Agen and were not impressed by these although Agen has the beautiful canal.
Hugh who looks after the property was amazing and gave so many brilliant tips and ideas. We did as many as we could and all were brilliant.
The only item I would ask to change is the electric BBQ for a bigger gas as it took a while to cook food and would not have been able to cope with more than 4 people
We spent two weeks in this quiet and rural location. The area is quintessentially old rural France. We drove to see some beautiful medieval villages, spent a long time playing in the large swimming pool, played cards and visited a water park in Agen (40 minutes away). We went to local markets and joined in with lovely local communal meals. The property had everything we needed, was very clean and the property manager was very helpful. This is a calm relaxing holiday away from the usual british holiday locations in france.
We had a really great stay at Las Brugues. The house was as lovely as expected from the description but the pool was amazing. The location is secluded and the surrounding countryside made for a relaxing holiday. Shops within a short drive. A big thank you to Hugh and Ailsa who were on hand when needed. I would thoroughly recommend Las Brugues if you are planning to Sat in the area.

We are glad you enjoyed your time at Las Brugues, and hope you visit again in the future.
Special thanks to Peter for his kindness and for allowing me to revise my english.

Beautiful property with a great sized pool.
We have just returned from a wonderful week. The weather was beautiful and sitting round the pool on the numerous sunbeds watching the kids play in the pool was wonderful, steps made easy access in and out the pool for the kids. The kitchen was a good size and we ate inside and on the covered terrace. Deer were spotted most mornings in fields nearby. The closest supermarket is only 5 mins drive away. No close by neighbours meant we did not have to worry about disturbing when the kids were in the pool.
