Situated in the beautiful and tranquil secure gated resort of Palmyra, in Vila Sol, this spacious south-facing 1st floor apartment sleeps 4 people and provides great amenities and comfort from which you can enjoy your Algarve experience.

The apartment has a spacious lounge / dining room as well as a dining terrace overlooking the gardens which enjoys the sun all day long. You can also dine on the top sun-roof where you will find a BBQ and enjoy the stunning views. You can either relax in complete privacy on comfortable loungers on the large roof terrace which overlooks the pool and landscaped gardens or head to one of the resort's 3 beautiful pools.

The apartment is well equipped with kitchen utensils, has free WIFI and up to 58 different English TV channels, plus a range of games, books and DVDs. We also provide a child's cot, high-chair and booster seats if you have a little ones with you.

Vila Sol offers a small selection of bars and restaurants within walking distance, including Oscars bar / grill (who also offer a takeaway service) as well as traditional pub food. If you want something a bit special but still on the door step then head over to the Moon Restaurant and Cocktail Lounge and savour the international gastronomy delights its renowned for or the very pleasant Wine Bistro. All are located a 10 minute walk from Palmyra. There is also a small convenience store which has a nice cafe which serves breakfast, snacks and brunch.

Located approximately 25 minutes from Faro airport, and just a 7 minute drive from the Marina of Vilamoura with its trendy shops, restaurants & bars. You can walk if you prefer, this takes around 50 minutes, but is not recommended with children as there are parts without a pavement. We recommend that you hire a car to fully enjoy exploring the region. Underground parking sits beneath the apartment and the apartment has a dedicated parking space.

The resort is a short walk from the 5* Pestana Vila Sol Hotel Spa and golf course where you can enjoy a game of golf, or tennis followed by lunch on the terrace which overlooks the beautiful course. If you're a golf enthusiast, you're utterly spoilt for choice with an abundance of so many championship courses within easy reach.

If you're a beach lover, you are just a short drive from the long sandy beaches located either side of Vilamoura, equipped with sun beds, parasols with an abundance of cafes and restaurants to choose from for lunch. A drive further west takes you to the rocky smaller coves and spectacular caves that the Algarve is famous for. For families with children, a trip to the neighbouring water park is sure to be a highlight of their holiday.

If you love shopping, you must find time to visit the beautiful market town of Loule (approximately 20 minutes drive) with its famous indoor market (and outdoor market on Saturdays), selling local produce and beautiful arts and crafts. Faro old town also offers many charming shops and restaurants, located a short walk from the marina, and the Award winning Mar Shopping Centre with Designer Village might mean you need an extra suitcase. Quinta shopping in Quinta do Lago offers multiple designer fashion boutiques with Quinta price tags! Since Palmyra is in the area known as the 'golden triangle' you don't need to travel more than 20-25 minutes to access all of these amenities.

After doing any of these activities, you'll look forward to returning to the serenity of Palmyra where you can relax and enjoy watching the sun go down with a chilled glass of Portuguese rose! Simply perfect.
