Hills, sunsets,great walks,pub which does pub grub...

Getting around.lots of interesting places in the area to drive to Ayr on the coast Dumfries and Drumlanrigg Castle.

Other things to note the sheep wander freely and cut the grass all year round!(sorry no pets)

Logs in log store outside to keep you warm.
During the winter(if there’s snow) the area is ideal for skiing and sledging....lots of down hills.....

Amazing remote location
Loved our stay here and visited the local inn for tea. It was a nice retreat from out travelling the SWC300 on our Harley. I would definitely advise a trip in the lead mines and museum

Perfect secluded break
Delightful cottage in a pretty village. Excellent location for touring the Dumfries and Galloway countryside, and lovely coming back each evening to this beautifully presented retreat.
