The house is located on the 4th floor of a late nineteenth century building, between via Vitt. Emanuele and the historic Piazza Duomo. Two elevations: downstairs living room, bedroom, small kitchen and bathroom; upstairs laundry room, living room and terrace overlooking the Duomo, Badia di Sant’Agata, via Crociferi, Etna and the sea. In the vicinity the fish market, via Etnea and all the main places of tourist and cultural interest in the city. Easily accessible sea, port, station and airport.
What makes this accommodation unique, in addition of course to its central location, is certainly the terrace overlooking the magnificent Piazza del Duomo in Catania. From this privileged position, moreover, you can enjoy a unique view of Etna, of the churches of via Crociferi of the ancient roofs of the historic center and of the sea.
In the morning, from the nearby fish shop, full of Mediterranean colors and flavors, you hear the famous and characteristic "vanniate" of merchants, a legacy of the ancient Arab domination, who promote their goods. Even on very hot days, at sunset, on the terrace you can enjoy the breeze coming from the sea and its incomparable scent.
The interiors of the apartment, while being contained, are treated in detail. The project, in fact, is by a well-known Sicilian architect, who with taste and skill has been able to make the best use of the available spaces.
