COZY HILLTOP APARTMENT WITH PRIVATE GARDEN BETWEEN SIENA AND VOLTERRA

Colloritto is an old farmhouse in a hill top position in the wonderful countryside west of Siena. It lies 12 Km far from Casole d’Elsa and 9 from Radicondoli, both typical medieval villages still retaining their charm and original character. Colloritto is a perfect jump off point to explore the enchanting Tuscany, including the Maremma seashore. City of art such as Siena, Florence, San Gimignano, Volterra, Monteriggioni, Massa Marittima are easily accessible on good roads. Colloritto was built over an Etruscan site. The place was inhabited since then. The nature lovers will enjoy walks on the nearby paths (there are no barriers or fences anywhere) and also the river reserves and the wildlife sanctuaries of the area.. Culinary specialities from land and sea await your discovery. The famous wine region “Chianti” is only 25 km away. Each of the two apartments has its own patio and garden, from which our guests can enjoy the panoramic views and peace.
A small pool is available.
Beside this, there are several rivers in the area (Merse, Pavone, farma and Cecina) with clean waters and good streams. The free and open thermal baths are in Petriolo, 30 km from Colloritto, where hot water flows in the river Farma, offering a hot-cold swimming option. Thermal baths with entrance fee also in Rapolano terme. A very nice public pool is in the town of Colle di Val d'Elsa.

Die Aussicht ist grossartig, einzigartig, unvergesslich - die Toscana liegt einem richtig zu Füssen. Wir waren total begeistert. Von Patrizia (Gabriele war einige Tage abwesend) haben wir einiges über das Haus und die Umgebung erfahren, sie hat auch für uns geschaut, indem sie Reservationen in guten Restaurants gemacht hat. Nach ein, zwei Tagen haben wir uns auch an die eher "holprige" Zufahrt gewöhnt. Wenn man Naturfan ist, ist das Granaio d i e Unterkunft.Katharina aus der Schweiz

Unser Aufenthalt war wundervoll, wie schon beim letzten Mal. Jetzt gibt es sogar noch einen kleinen extra Pool nur zu dieser Wohnung gehörend. Das Grundstück ist toll, die Ruhe und die Natur. Gabriele und Patrizia sind immer ansprechbar und sehr herzlich. In der Wohnung fühlt man sich auch sehr wohl, da sie stilvoll eingerichtet ist und super geschnitten ist. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Einfach Wunderschön

Wir waren 14 Tage in der Toskana und hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit. Die Gastgeber Patricia und Gabriele waren sehr herzlich und hilfsbereit. Die Wohnung ist perfekt ausgestattet und geschmackvoll eingerichtet, es war alles sauber und ordentlich. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt. Der Ausblick war einfach fantastisch. WUNDERBAR!

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Urlaub, und waren bei der Ankunft komplett geflasht von der wunderschönen Lage und der tollen Wohnung mit Garten. Ein Juwel auf FeWo! Die beiden Hosts Gabriele und Patricia waren supernett und man konnte immer auf sie zu kommen wenn man was gebraucht hat oder auch den ein oder anderen regionalen Tipp haben wollte. Auch haben sie einen liebevoll zusammengestellten Ordner in der Wohnung bereit liegen mit allem wichtigen rund um Einkaufen Essen, Sport und und und in der Region. Wir wollten garnicht mehr weg! Danke für dieses wunderbare Urlaubserlebnis!

Prachtig, een juweeltje op een heuvel in Toscane!

Prachtige plek, mooi huisje met gigantische privé tuin en heerlijk zwembad. Wij waren er een week, maar je kan hier prima 2 weken doorbrengen. Patrizia en Gabriele zijn super vriendelijke mensen! Er staat een heerlijke fles wijn klaar bij binnenkomst en het huisje is schoon. De airco is ook erg fijn. .

Toller Urlaub in der Toskana

Wir hatten die Ferienwohnung für zwei Wochen gebucht. Es ist ein guter Platz, um die Toskana zu erkunden. Gabriele und Patrizia sind fantastische Gastgeber und waren stets bemüht uns eine gute Zeit zu schenken. Für unseren Sohn gab es einen sehr sauberen Pool. Total empfehlenswert!

Super nette Inhaber / tolle und ruhige Ferienwohnung

Hatten einen sehr angenehmen und erholsamen Aufenthalt. Die Wohnung selbst war sauber, ordentlich und man hat alles da was man braucht. Die Besitzer hatten super Tipps was Restaurants in der Umgebung angeht und waren sogar so freundlich uns einen Tisch zu reservieren.

Mitten in der Natur

Wir waren 1 Woche dort und haben uns von Anfang an sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Städte Siena, San Gimignano, Colle Val d'Elsa sind mit dem Auto sehr gut erreichbar. Patrizia und Gabriele sind sehr nette Leute. Wer abschalten und sich erholen will, ist dort sehr gut aufgehoben.

Tout est parfait.

Nous avons séjourné dans un endroit merveilleux. Tout est super : nos hôtes, la maison, la vue.. Nous avons trouvé un vrai coin de paradis, les levés de soleil, les couchés de soleil. A most pleasant stay

Cozy hilltop private apartment in the hills 1/2 Hr from Siena. Best suited for an individual or a couple who prefers the solitude of the countryside. Suitable for preparing your own meals You will need your own car to get around. Interior is basic and small but adequate. The shower could use an upgrade and adding a microwave oven would be a nice feature. Gabriele and Patrizza are wonderful hosts. Gabriele’s suggestions for such aspects as local restaurants and best parking in Siena, etc go a long way in making your stay very comfortable. Location was perfect for touring Tuscany in all directions.

Petit endroit mignon et sympatique

Nous avons passé 5 jours agréable dans cette ferme restaurée . Gabriele et sa femme sont des hôtes sympathiques et merci de nous avoir accueillis avec une bonne bouteille de vin de la région. Nous regrettons toutefois le bruit de la route qui passe juste en dessous de la location et qui peut être gênant si on recherche vraiment un havre de paix.

I was born in the nearby town of Colle Val d'Elsa. Beside the rental Business I work as insurance and banking advisor. In the past I was employed in the BANK MPS and spent 3 years in Singapore where me and Patrizia got married.

Why they chose this property

My father rented this property in 1972. It was included in the much bigger property of the actual Castello di Casole, owned at that time by Edoardo Visconti, the brother of the famous italian movie director. All my family fell in love with this place, and in 1994 Patrizia and me decided to live permanently here.
