Casa degli Ulivi, is the first among six farmhouse inside the farm holidays “Agricontura Paparoni” inside a valley almost intact, the heart of the best citrus production of Northern Sicily, three kilometers from the Tyrrhenian Sea, at the foot of the Nebrodi national park.

Casa degli Ulivi, accommodates up to 6 people, located on the ground floor of a two story house.
It overlooks a large terrace overlooking the citrus and the surrounding hills.
The house is composed as follow:

• large living room with kitchenette, dining table and a sofa bed for one and a half
• master bedroom with addition of a single bed
• double bedroom
• bathroom with shower

The farm holidays is only 2 miles from the seaside and 7 miles from Capo d’Orlando, a jumping off place for several excursions along the northern coast of Sicily, as well as the Aeolian islands and the mosto fascinating villages

Eine sehr entspannte Urlaubszeit

- Ideale Lage im Grünen zwischen Küste und Hügeln des "Parco dei Nebrodi". - Die Häuser und Aussenanlagen sind sehr gepflegt und haben eine ansprechende, ortstypische Erscheinung. - Die Wohnungen sind sehr durchdacht und gut eingerichtet: einzige wünschenswerte Verbesserung wäre eine grundliche Umgestaltung der Innenbeleuchtung (helleres Licht in allen Räumen, geziehltes Anstrahlen der Decken etc.) - Last but not least: ein grosses Dankeschön an Ciro, die seele der gesamten Anlage, für seinen fleissigen, fürsorglichen Umgang mit den Gästen.

Site exceptionnel, magique!!!!! Accueil charmant et personnel au petit soin!!!! Propreté irréprochable. Nous sommes parti en vacance en famille dans se site d exception au calme avec pour seul compagnie les cigales qui chantent toute la journée. Au beau milieu d'un verger de citronniers, d'oliviers et d'orangers. Très reposant et très sûre. Je le recommande vivement.

Fantastic Easter

Great place to stay if you are looking for the peace and quiet of the countryside. Accommodation was clean and comfortable, spacious and well maintained, the swimming pool area, wonderful!! Ciro, Giancarlo & Federico are great host who put on a BBQ and helped us for any informations. Great week.

We had a mixed group of 11 adult and this wonderful place with its quientness and views has been perfect for us. We rented 3 houses (Casa Ulivi, Casa Gelso and Casa Ciliegio), the houses has everything you need. Perfectly suited for larger groups but also families with small kids. Federico and Ciro are very nice and helpful, if wanted.

Nous avons passé un très agreable séjour dans ce petit coin de paradis. La maison est fonctionnelle et conforme à la description, l'exterieur est vraiment très agreable : grande terrasse et belle piscine au milieu d'une plantation de citrons, très jolie végétation, beaucoup de calme et beaux paysages. Nous avons beaucoup profité de l'extérieur donc et avons rayonné dans les alentours pour visiter et découvrir les charmes de la Sicile : taormine, cefalu, îles eoliennes... Le propriétaire est de très bon conseil et prend très vite en compte nos remarques, nous avons été bien accueilli, nous conseillons cette location

vacances siciliennes formidables

Nous avons particulièrement apprécié notre séjour en Sicile. Nous avons loué les 2 appartements de la même maison (une famille 2 adultes/2 adolescents à l’étage et une famille 2 adultes/3 enfants au rez-de-chaussée). Les appartements étaient agréables, climatisés. L’agencement de l’appartement du bas était particulièrement intéressant et adaptée pour une famille avec 3 enfants. Nous avons beaucoup aimé la terrasse, et les petits coins aménagés dans le jardin avec des tables et des chaises. Les enfants ont adoré la piscine qui était de bonne taille et où notre fille de 7 ans avait pied (même hauteur d’eau partout). La vue au milieu des oliviers et des citronniers sur les collines environnantes était magnifique. Nous avons aussi apprécié le barbecue, les parasols, le mobilier qui était de bonne qualité à l’intérieur comme à l’extérieur (un bémol peut-être si on a besoin d’utiliser les couchages des canapés dans l’appartement du 1er étage). L’accueil à notre arrivée (pourtant tardive dans la soirée) était chaleureux et à chaque fois que nous avons eu besoin de quelque-chose, le propriétaire ou le gardien a répondu à nos attentes rapidement. Enfin la localisation géographique permet de visiter le tiers Nord-Est de la Sicile : Etna, Taormina, Iles éoliennes (notamment Panarea, Stromboli et Vulcano), Palerme, Cefalu (superbe ville et plage de sable), Tindari, parc du Nebrodi… Région magnifique, vacances formidables ! Lovely rural hideaway

We had a lovely Sicilian spring surrounded by the lemon and olive trees. The accommodation and furnishings are basic but adequate. Some extra blankets for the couple of rainy nights would have been nice but otherwise we had everything we needed. Most of all the peace and tranquility was wonderful. Pasta, local fish and a bottle of wine watching the sun setting over the pool.

Relax in the Sun on a Lemon Farm in Sicily

Our family of two adults and 3 children (aged 6, 11 & 12) enjoyed two very relaxing weeks in the Sicilian sun. The apartment is set in a very well restored and simply decorated old farmhouse building. There were two other apartments on the site each with their own outdoor seating area. Sicily is hot during the summer so luckily the facilities include air-conditioning. Each window has shutters which were closed at different times of the day to shade the sun. Satellite TV kept us in touch with events in the world. There is a basic kitchen but it served us well enough. Large sun canopies are provided to give shelter for outside dining on the extensive raised decking area. The view of the lights of the hill towns on the range above the farm made for lovely evening views. The outdoor areas were very well lit for enjoying the cooler summer evenings. The pool area can be checked from the apartment. The children had a great time in the pool and exploring the farm. Each day they collected fresh lemons to make their own lemonade. The farm also supplied vegetables for meals. A local farm manager was on hand to help us with anything we needed. The area is quiet and peaceful and a short drive from the nearest town which has a good supermarket and of course a range of ice-cream and pizza shops. The resort town of Capo d'Orlando is very close and has a good beachfront with lots of amenities. Trips to attractions like Cefalu, Brolo, Tindari, Messina and Toarmina are very straight-forward on the excellent toll motorways. The mountain roads to Randazzo and Etna were a pleasure for the adults, if not the children. Communication with the owners for booking was very prompt, efficient and pleasant. The rates were excellent value. The photos on this website certainly don't do justice to the attractions of the apartment and it's farm. We would happily return with the family to this undiscovered gem in Sicily.
