Spacious fully refurbished character flat in the heart of historical centre

This is a beautiful spacious apartment of 100 square meters, situated in the historical centre of Posada, in the Sardinian Province of Nuoro. The apartment offers a double room ensuite with sea viewsand 1 twin room with an adjacent bathroom. A large living area includes a fully functioning kitchen (including microwave, kettle and coffee machine), separate eating and seating areas double sofa bed (with sleeping option for 2 more people), a balcony with sea and mountain views, a log burner for the chilly winter evenings. There is a free satellite TV with Chrome Cast (allows yu to watch Netflix directly from app) and excellent Wifi. Parking is available in a large parking lot 100 metres below the house or 300 metres away in the central square. A city bike service is also available.
Posada's stunning beach Su Tiriarzu is at walking distance; on this beach there are a couple of small kiosks for coffee and drinks, and a windsurf, paddle boarding and canoeing rental and school place. Posada sea water always come out at the top of Italian beaches for cleanliness and nature preservation. The town has top quality restaurants in all price range (all at walking distance), wine bars and shops and in the summer hosts one of the most renown entertainment programme, with live theatre and music in the central square that opens into the valley. There are also many other beautiful beaches to explore in the vicinities. There are summer festivals in Posada and other towns along the coast, with traditional music, dance and food; visitors and locals together can enjoy this fascinating celebrations of the everlasting Sardinian traditions.
Posada is approx 40 Kms south of Olbia, 35 Mins by car or 1 hour by bus from the Airport.

Lovely property

Nucely managed pproperty. Has everything what you need in the kitchen. Beach patasol and chairs which can be used as well. Good wifi and airconditioning. Be aware, the different recycling rubbish is collected almost every morning. We were left a schedule so we can keep up with it. Excellent communication with the owner,Alessandra and the manager of the property, Sandro.

Alles in allem ganz gut

Die Wohnung ist groß und geräumig. In dem Dorf Posada gibt es nicht wirklich ein Nachtleben ( Flaniermeile bzw. Märkte). Sandro hat uns sehr lieb und sofort bei Ankunft empfangen und uns die Wohnung gezeigt und alles super erklärt. An dieser Stelle vielen Dank an Sandro

Clean property with amazing services from manager

We stayed in Posada for 5 days at the end of July and had a great time. The property was clean and tidy. Only thing that would suggest is for the owner to have at least toilet papers for the first few night, as we arrived late in the evening (22:00) and found out that there was no toilet paper. We had a few small issues with appliances, all of which were addressed on a timely basis by the property’s manager. Property is closed to everything near the Olbia/ costa Smeralda region. Highly recommended.

Schönes Ambiente im Herzen Posadas

Große Wohnung mit tollen Ausblick. Wunderschöne Strände, nur 5 Minuten mit dem Auto entfernt. Restaurants sind zu Fuß und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten nur mit dem Auto erreichbar. Bei der Ankunft kann zum Entladen der Koffer fast bis zum Haus gefahren werden. Parkplätze vorhanden ca. 3 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt. Problemloser Check-in mit persönlicher Begrüßung und Schlüsselübergabe. Danke an Sandro für die gute Betreuung.

Appartamento situato in un Borgo caratteristico.

Appartamento ristrutturato di recente e tenuto con cura ,ottima pulizia tutto rispecchia quanto indicato nel sito.l proprietari anche se non li abbiamo visti mai perché non risiedono nell'uovo sono molto gentili e corretti . L'unico aspetto negativo per noi è che essendo l'appartamento situato in un borgo storico non c'è possibilità di parcheggio nelle immediate vicinanze, il parcheggio comunque si trova a 100 150 metri percorrendo una ripida salita.

We are a couple living in Portsmouth, UK; Alessandra is Italian and Pete is English. We have explored Sardinia's length and breadth and decided we liked Posada the most. The apartment is a project we keep developing for our guests; we think it is uniquely placed to enjoy the plentiful cultural and natural beauties of the area. We love going there off season, meet the friends we have made in these years and enjoy a landscape that is great at all times of the year. The rivers populate with flamingoes in winter, and the view from the flat with snowy mountain tops is unbeatable. We find it idea also to spend time here to work in peace and quiet, like when we have some writing or other project to finish.

Why they chose this property

This apartment's unique position makes it for the perfect holiday location. It is right in the middle of the charming old centre while close to all services and commercial activities; nothing blocks the view from our window straight to the sea and there are no other noises but bird chirping. The living area has been restructured to include an all-facilities kitchen and eating area, and to separate it from the bedrooms. Family ad friends can be together cooking, chatting and reading in this wide space full of sunlight. There are two bathrooms, one ensuite and the other in common. Including the comfy living room sofa bed the apartment can sleep up to 6 people easily.

What makes this property unique

We offer full service of bedding and towel change every week, which is unusual for holiday homes in the area. Everything in the house is shared with our hosts; beside the kitchen and TV facilities listed above, the flat includes bluetooth sound system, iron and ironing board, washing machine and clothes racks, beach umbrella and mats, two hairdryers . There is a large wardrobe and chest of drawers and hanging space in every room. Maps and tourism guides of the area are available; the house manager Sandro speaks English and is very knowleadgeable about the area, is available at all times and rapidly can solve any problem you migh have during your stay (just check the reviews!)
From the property you can walk up to the old fortress through lovely cobbles streets, or down the steps for the roads that take you to the sea, or through the centre to reach shops and places to eat. Take an aperitivo to the bar under the stone arch, or go to eat to the restaurant just a few metres up the hill with a stunning view and revisited Sardinian cuisine. Take a walk to the ice cream parlour or hang out the locals at the wine bar before going to sleep. When you are at home, you only hear bird songs and cattle bells, and can relax in the balcony overlooking the green plain and the sea beyond. If you are lucky, in the small chapek less than 30 metres away from the house , you will hear local singers (tenores) rehearse the unique Sardinian folk repertoire.
