Newly renovated gite in a beautiful, tranquil setting next to the River Claie.
Separate private and self contained accommodation and garden with its own access and parking.
Access via several steps to a secluded gravelled garden, leading to an enclosed grassed area perfect for a BBQ
Well equipped kitchen, including; dishwasher, washing machine and expresso machine. Lovely views of the river from the dining area.
Double doors lead to the welcoming, comfortable lounge with log burning fire.
There is a separate ground floor toilet.
First floor two bedrooms one spacious double with views and one twin, both with en -suite bathrooms with underfloor heating
Bedding and towels supplied.
The property is well equipped it has satellite English and French TV, DVD player and WIFI.
Only five minutes drive to the medieval town of Malestroit. With its shops, restaurants ,bars,supermarkets
canal walks and Thursday morning market.
15 minutes to Ploërmel there is a local lake, perfect for swimming with its own beach, You can hire kayaks, boats and learn to sail.
Indoor swimming pool, cinema and bowling in the centre
House is located 2 minutes from the N166 so its easy to get around by car.
20 minutes to the beautiful city of Vannes and the gulf of Morbihan, or visit La Gacilly, Josselin and Rochefort en Terre
Many great beaches within easy reach including Carnac only 40 minutes .
A great base to discover and explore a beautiful region.

Beautiful, relaxing, peaceful

The views from the kitchen window over the river opposite are stunning. The gite is comfortable and cool in the summer and has everything that you need for a stay. We sat out in the courtyard most evenings and watched bats fluttering over our heads while the crickets chirped. There's a clean lake nearby for swimming, walking around and various watersports and the nearby town on Maelstroit is interesting to explore. Thank you so much for allowing us to stay in your beautiful gite, we would love to come back one day.

Tastefully furnished House in picturesque landscape

We spent three wonderful weeks in this spacey house and it felt too short. The house is very cosy and tastefully furnished; the kitchen is exceptionally fully equipped. It was a great pleasure to stay here as we immediately felt at home. The Village Bohal is small, pretty and has a good boulangerie (including specialties from the area) and a bar in walking distance of 10 minutes. A cheverie with goat cheeses is a nice walk. Pleucadeuc some minutes away by car has a very good restaurant „la maison de Puits“ and also a fantastic Boulangerie artisanal. Medieval Malestroit (5 minutes by car) has a big market on Thursday with all fresh food and specialties you could wish for, lots of bars, restaurants etc. and the canal Brest-Nantes. Also three supermarkets. The area is quiet and charming. We really could relax in this house with a charming terrace (and Barbecue) and a meadowy court where we played badminton. The seaside is 30 minutes by car. Vannes is the next bigger, very beautiful city, also with the harbour for ships to Belle Île and the Golfe de Morbihan.

Wunderschöne grüne Oase am Fluss

Tolles Haus mit allem, was man braucht drin enthalten, sogar Cidre boules, Schneckenganeln und Austernmesser. Sehr geschmackvoll und mit Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Schöner Garten zum pétanque Spielen, eine fantastische Aussicht auf die Mühle. Die Vermieter Paul ind Sarah sind sehr nett und wohnen nebenan, Sind aber sehr diskret. Ganz toll: wir bekamen eines Morgens sogar ein Kistchen Gemüse aus dem eigenen Garten vor die Tür gestellt! Eürden jederzeit wieder kommen, denn die Gegend ist sehr reizvoll und man kann viel in der Umgebung unternehmen.

A quiet place with a beautiful house and garden

We had a wonderful and relaxing time in this lovely house. It is spacious, comfortable and with the two bathrooms perfect for families. The hosts Paul and Sarah live next door and they are very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the garden, the delightful evironment and the silence, only disturbed by the gently sound of the river Claie. Highly recommended!

Charming house in the countryside.

We spent a week here with our two kids during spring vacation. Knowing that the weather is Bretagne can be capricious we chose a house where we would feel at home and comfortable and this house did not disappoint. We enjoyed the garden and fires at night. The location is great for visiting Vannes, La Trinité sur Mer, Carnac , Rochefort-en-Terre etc. À special thanks to Sarah and Paul for their hospitality. They live next door but are very discrete.

ein außerordentlicher Ort für die ganze Familie

Wir verbrachten eine Woche mit zwei Kindern (12/8) in ich dem liebevoll eingerichteten Haus und fühlten uns sehr wohl. Das Haus bietet alles , was man für einen Urlsub braucht. Uns hat dieser Urlaub ausserordentlich gut gefallen. Sarah und Paul sind sehr freundliche Vermieter, die direkt nebenan wohnen. Trotzdem ist man ganz für sich. Highlights: die Unterkunft, die Einrichtung, der Willkommensgruss,die Natur, die Ruhe, das Haus und der Garten, der Atlantik, eine Fahrradtour, Kanu fahren. Wir wären alle gerne länger geblieben.

a beautiful house and garden in beautiful peaceful rural surroundings

we had a fantastic week..not long enough...in a wonderful quiet area lots to see and do many lovely places to go visit. good for walking cycling driving if you wished to go further afield.some good nearby markets and small interesting towns of character. the house and gardens are beautiful.the owners are very friendly and helpful and only there if you need them., we had a very comfortable relaxing stay. views from the house are stunning.

A fantastic holiday in delightful surroundings and a beautiful gite

Our gite, which is part of a wonderful French home, was just as described in the details. It was furnished in true French style with the added bonus of having modern onsuite facilities and contained everything that you could wish for with a self-catering holiday. The owners were friendly and could not be more helpful to us. We do know Brittany quite well through previous holidays but enjoyed visiting a few new areas and having fantastic weather to boot, we had a really enjoyable holiday. We thoroughly recommend this enchanting place.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft, freundliche Vermieter, toller Urlaub

Die Unterkunft ist frisch renoviert und wunderschön, sie hat eine separate Terrasse mit Eingangsbereich, so dass man völlig für sich ist. Von Grill bis Kaminofen ist alles da, die Küche ist groß und vollständig ausgestattet, die Badezimmer top, die Wohnräume mit alten Möbeln sehr charmant eingerichtet. Die Vermieter Paul und Sarah wohnen nebenan und sind sehr freundlich, sprechen wenig deutsch, aber natürlich englisch und französisch (fließend). Die Gegend ist wunderbar, von toller Natur bis zu schönen Städten mit aufregender Geschichte ist alles dabei, und kulinarisch ist die Bretagne ohnehin sensationell. Wir hatten einen tollen Urlaub und sind nur schweren Herzens wieder weggefahren.

Had a lovely stay and visited some lovely places, whilst catching up with family that live nearby

A superbly presented and equipped holiday home, plenty of room for the 4 of us (2 adults and 2 teenagers). Our hosts were on hand if needed but left us to our own devices. Beautiful views of the river Clai from the kitchen and a lovely secluded private garden area. Really can't praise it enough and will definitely look to book again in the future

Spacious, well-equipped gite in lovely location.

The gite is very spacious, has all the equipment and facilities you could want and is really comfortable. The location is great too, with a lovely view over the river. Highly recommended.

Lovely cottage in the heart of the beautiful Morbihan region

Tastfully decorated cottage that feels like home ! Spacious livingroom, fully equiped kitchen, 2 adorable bedrooms with modern ensuite bathrooms, beautiful outdoor space. The very gentle hosts are very helpful but always discrete. Without further ado, this house is a place we definitely want to go back to !!! Cette maison est vraiment un pied-à-terre adorable pour ceux qui aiment le calme et la nature, mais elle se trouve quandmême tout près de differents beaux petits villages et à 25 km du magnifique Golfe du Morbihan.
