RENTAL POSSIBLE SEASON.
This apartment of 73 m2, fully renovated is ideally located in Chamonix: it is both very close to the center and a little behind to avoid the agitation and nuisance of the hypercentre. Therefore the car is not essential: it allows to walk to the central station, the Montenvers station (Mer de Glace), the cable car of the Aiguille du Midi, in the city center for shopping , the many restaurants and shopping, the sports complex (indoor pool, ice rink, tennis, stadium, ...) and the ski slopes Planards at 50 meters (beginners area for skiing in winter and summer toboggan ).
There are also many shuttles for the different ski areas, under the residence, or on the Place du Mont Blanc located 50 meters. It is also on this Place that the market takes place every Saturday.
The apartment has 2 bedrooms each with a large double bed (160 cm), and a 3rd smaller ("corner mountain", without window) with 2 X 2 bunk beds of 90 cm each (or 4 single beds).
2 bathrooms each with an Italian shower,
2 WC including 1 separated.
HOUSEHOLD LINEN CAN BE SUPPLIED ON REQUEST, IN ADDITION.
The living room / kitchen opens onto a south-facing balcony with a beautiful 180 ° view of Mont Blanc, the Aiguille du Midi, but also the city and the Brévent cable car.
The 2 bedrooms open on a 2nd balcony side Grands Montets / Argentiere with views of La Flégère and the slopes of Planards (because the apartment is through).
It is on the 6th floor, with elevator.
A private outdoor parking space is available for free, as well as a cellar / ski room.
Possibility of renting in the winter season.

Great stay, easy location

We really enjoyed our stay here! We had 3 adults and one child and the place had more than enough space. The check-in process was easy and the host was great with communication. We were just a short walk from the train station and had beautiful views from the 6th floor apartment. We would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic appartment, perfect location

We loved our stay here - an unusually spacious appartment for Chamonix (and we have stayed in several) with lovely views plus a nice little balcony to enjoy the spring weather. The flat is new and well equipped, very stylish and comfortable. The owner was very responsive and couldn't have been more helpful when we needed some extra linen. The location is ideal - walkable distance to the centre, to Les Planards (either for skiing or for endless luge rides), across the road from the bus and train stations. Nonetheless, a car is helpful but by no means essential. We made good use of Maison Carrier across the way, the fabulous swimming pool in the sports centre 5 mins away, the bakery and ski hire shop 3 minutes away and the easy stroll to the supermarket in town, plus drinks at MBC which is one of our favourite spots. The only thing to comment on is that the bunk room would be quite cosy if there were four adults in there (and there is no window which another guest noted - but the sofa beds in the lounge are very comfortable if the house is full). There is plenty of crockery, cutlery and particularly storage space for a full house (again, unusual for Chamonix) Highly recommended overall!

Great location and charming flat!

We came to Chamonix for the running race UTMB. The location of this flat was perfect because it was just far enough away we were out of the noise and commotion, but we walked into the main area of town every day (four kids under 11 included). The flat was a charming little place and work perfect for our little family. The only thing a little off was you have to put your own linens on the beds and the pillows were a bit flat. Overall we would recommend it and would definitely book it again if/when we go back!

Ein Stern Abzug weil 4er Zimmer leider kein Fenster hat. Wenn Kinder drin schlafen ist das ok aber mit Erwachsenen nicht komfortabel. 2 sind auf Couch ausgewichen. Die Couch war bequem genug. Sonst alles toll in der Wohnung 👍

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Valerie was a great host, very friendly, flexible and good at communicating. She has done a fantastic job of decorating and furnishing the apartment to include everything we could have possibly wanted . The apartment was clean and modern. We were especially pleased with the large bathrooms and great showers often hard to find in ski resorts! The apartment is situated in close proximity to the town city- so great to walk back to after a long day skiing or night out! Would highly recommend.

Super appartement, emplacement pas forcément idéal

Nous avons bénéficié d'un superbe accueil de Mme Delaunay qui est venue nous chercher à la gare SNCF située à proximité immédiate du logement (250/300m). L'appartement est superbe. Bien agencé, réellement refait à neuf, agréable. Point intéressant, il ne manque pas non plus de prises. L'appartement est très bien chauffé, presque un peu trop. L'accès au lave-linge séchant nous a été donné pendant le séjour (à la base dans une armoire fermée). Nous avons pu caler un lit bébé dans la chambre avec les 4 lits superposés, ce qui était très positif. La chaudière pour l'eau chaude "à volonté" est un vrai plus. Côté literie, elle est de bonne qualité mais plutôt pour les personnes qui n'apprécient pas les matelas fermes. Par ailleurs, nous avons bénéficié d'un calme absolu durant le séjour, étant au 6ème étage. Seul point un peu moins positif : l'emplacement. Il faut 10/15 minutes à pied pour accéder au tout petit domaine des Planards (1 piste bleu, 1 piste rouge, 2 pistes vertes et ESF). A une altitude de 1000m, c'est surtout de la neige artificielle et surtout on a vite fait le tour. Pour skier vraiment, il faut prendre une navette aux Planards et donc ajouter 15 minutes pour accéder au domaine Brévent, de taille correcte. L'appartement est situé à 10 minutes à pied du centre-ville, ce qui est convenable même si sans voiture, les courses pèsent un peu. Pour conclure, la voiture est sans doute un gros plus vu l'emplacement, qui fait que l'appartement est sans doute plus adapté aux familles avec des enfants suffisamment grands pour être relativement autonomes. Notamment, si on ajoute le fait que les pistes de luge sont à 15 bonnes minutes à pied de l'appartement, donc il n'y a pas vraiment d'espace à proximité pour les touts petits. Néanmoins, nous avons passé un très bon séjour, et recommandons vivement ce logement qui nous a permis de passer d'excellentes vacances.

Je vous remercie pour votre commentaire, et suis ravie que votre séjour vous ait plus mais vous avez raison de le souligner, effectivement, avant de venir skier à Chamonix, il faut savoir que c'est avant tout une ville, qui vit toute l'année, avant d'être une station de ski (comme on en trouve plutôt en Savoie plus qu'en Haute-Savoie, où tout le village s'est développé autour des pistes). Il y a d'ailleurs plusieurs domaines skiables bien distincts (les Planards, Le Brévent, le Savoy, La Flégère, Les Grands Montets, Le Tour, ...) non reliés entre eux. La prise de navettes (ou la marche à pied pour les plus courageux) est malheureusement indispensable à Chamonix si l'on n'a pas de voiture et que l'on veut explorer tous les domaines skiables. Et pour ce qui est des 10 minutes à pied de l'hyper-centre, c'est ce qui nous garantit le calme absolu car Chamonix est aussi une ville qui vit beaucoup la nuit, avec une clientèle internationale relativement jeune, ce qui créé souvent des nuisances sonores importantes dans l'hyper-centre ...

Super appart pour un séjour très apprécié

La location est neuve et très propre, conforme aux précisions données sur le site. Déco superbe, très chaleureuse, très cocoon, ca fait du bien d'être à la montagne... La propriétaire nous a conseillé de belles balades, et de bons restos. Notamment la maison Carrier à 2 pas... Nous avons aussi testé le restaurant le cap Horn ! très bon ! Depuis le balcon de l'appartement, on a une belle vue sur Chamonix. et aussi sur la gare du petit train du Montenvers, qu'on a pris aussi ! Je recommande cet appart !

superbes vacances

nous avons passé une excellente semaine dans cet appartement confortable fraichement refait à neuf. La résidence est très calme et aussi très bien placée, à proximité de tout, on a quasiment tout fait à pied: restos, boutiques, marché le samedi matin (Place du MtBlanc à 2 pas), … Le balcon ensoleillé a une belle vue sur le Mt Blanc et sur la ville. Valérie, qui nous a accueillis, a été très sympathique et arrangeante, je recommande !!

Fabuleux séjour au calme dans un appartement renové avec beaucoup de charme et vue splendide

nous avons adoré rester à Chamonix dans cet appartement avec de beaux volumes, renové récemment avec beaucoup de gout! les chambres sont bien organisées, la literie super confortable et les salles de bains superbes. La résidence est parfaitement au calme et a une vue imprenable sur le Mont Blanc!! merci pour ce beau sejour!!

Super appartement idéalement situé à coté des commerces et de la gare du Montenevers avec une vue splendide sur le mont blanc depuis la terrasse du sejour. L'appartement est renové avec beaucoup de charme et les volumes sont très agréables; La literie est toute neuve est tres confortable. Nous recommandons vivement cet appt!
