Lovely family villa with good sized bedrooms with queen beds, plenty of space, great garden and outside area. Well equipped with everything needed for a holiday. Brilliant setting in a rural village but close to the sea and beaches, with shops and restaurants within a five minute drive. Pool and hammock were fab and fun to have the table tennis and football table too. The owner and host was so friendly and helpful, she could not have helped more, even allowing us extra time on both arrival and departure. Thank you Eugenia.

Nice House in a beatiful Landscape

We had a nice and relaxing stay in the House, Eugénia answered all our questions and was there whenever we needed help. The House is near to several beaches, where you can also Surf well. :)

The perfect family getaway

Just one word for this property.... WOW! Booked this villa for a large family holiday, ages ranging from 8 month old to us oldies in our 50's. From day 1 of booking the villa we had great communication with Eugenia, I had many questions but nothing was too much trouble, the help she gave us was priceless. And due to our late flight in a food package was arranged for our arrival until we could get our hire cars arranged for a trip to the supermarket. The villa itself was stunning and very practical, plenty of activities to suit all age ranges, a super large well equipped kitchen, large lounge area, plenty of bedroom storage and a super large bath!!! We arranged with Eugenia for bedding to be changed during our stay, which was done very discreetly with no inconvenience to ourselves. The pool was regularly checked for chlorine levels etc. The area itself is not over commercialised, which is what we wanted with plenty of shops and restaraunts. Although unless you're a very keen walker I would suggest hiring transport to get about. All in all a truly magical place which I would recommend to anyone 100%. A few of our friends have already asked for contact information after seeing our holiday photos. Thank you Eugenia, you're very lucky owning such a beautiful villa in stunning surroundings and providing such a 1st class service. Lorraine & Family xx

Casa Maravilhosa em Âncora

Foi uma estadia maravilhosa. A casa está muito bem equipada e é muito grande e está muito bem dividida. Levamos os nossos filhos e eles também se divertiram imenso pois a casa tem montes de jogos (tabuleiro, ping-pong, matraquilhos,...) que eles e nós (adultos) adoramos jogar. A piscina é muito boa e está num local onde não corre muito vento que em dia normalmente ventosos do minho, tinha uma exposição excelente. A gestora da moradia é super atenciosa, simpática e agradável. Uma pessoa muito acessivel e comunicadora.

Family holiday in northern Portugal

A great base to explore the local area. Lovely beaches very close and some foggy days sent us inland where we discovered some beautiful towns and fantastic waterfalls and river swimming locations. Eugenia was extremely helpful and the perfect host. Highly recommended.

A great place to do a lot of things!

We very much liked the house itself, but also the surrounding area. The house is as described and pictured, in very good shape and very spacious, so everyone will find his favorite place. The area around Ancora offers a lot of different activities, from various beaches to swimming in river lagoons, with historic places, larger cities to small villages, and great routes for cycling and hiking. Eugénia is a great, caring host and has a lot of knowledge about the area, things to do, etc. Thanks a lot, Eugénia, for letting us stay at your house, and we hope to be back one day – best wishes!

In dem Haus fehlt es an nichts. Die Vermieter sind extrem sympatisch. Tolle Aussicht, wundervolle Lage. Supermarkt 1 Km entfernt. Strand 2 km. Café, wo es morgens Brötchen gibt, direkt um die Ecke. Einfach perfekt.
