    The Old Farm house In Denmark

    Come and stay in one of the oldest houses on Romo.

    Ample space for 6/8 adults and children in 5 bedrooms large living room and spacious kitchen with everything needed for your good dining experiences.

    Cozy garden with table / benches and gas grill.

    The apartment is located at the northern end of the island, where there is peace and quiet, yet short for shopping, beach and nature.

    The settlement in Juvre can be traced back to the 12-1300s when the first inhabitants came to the island and through the ages lived to farm and fishery, as well as for a period in the 1600s whaling which is seen by the nearby fence made low of homemade whale legs.

    The farm was built in the 16-1700s and has been carefully updated to contemporary standard with many visible details of the house's history.

    Here is plenty of space in and around the house, very short distance to the wild nature of Rømø, with walking distance to the Wadden Sea and the widespread beach meadows where sheep and cattle graze most of the year.

    The impressive sandy beach at Lakolk is reached in approx. 5 minutes by car. Shopping opportunities within a few kilometers.

    It is obvious to experience the wild nature of Rømø from the back of an Icelandic horse, we would like to refer to super good riding place. There are some great eateries that we would like to refer to.

    There are not many possibilities with public transport, it is possible to rent bicycles on the island, otherwise it is optimal that you bring a car.

    The rent is incl. Electricity and water.

    However, wood for the stove must be purchased.

    The tenant cleans the house himself on departure, in case of defective final cleaning the tenant is charged DKK 750.00/hrs..

    A few days a year the area is flown by fighter jets.

    Wonderful House in a peaceful environment

    The house was even more cosy and beautiful than expected. We had a very nice time. You definetely need a car to reach the house and nearby supermarkets.

    Exploring family roots

    We were on the island, me for the 3rd time, getting to know the land, people, and history- including our ancestors. The home was a great place to stay while doing all this because is itself historic, while also having modern comfort and conveniences.

    Kurz mal weg in die Entspannung

    Wir hatten einem wundervollen Aufenthalt. Für Groß und Klein. Gemütlich eingerichtet. Alles was man braucht und noch viel mehr, nämlich Entspannung, Land, Tiere direkt vor der Tür, liebe Gastgeber. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Dann auch gerne länger als nur für ein Wochenende. 🌞 🌤

    Das Haus liegt in einer ruhigen Gegend. Von der Ausstattung her passt es auch. Bis zum Strand sind es circa 10 Minuten mit dem Auto. Die Strandmeile bietet mehrere Essensmöglichkeiten, Einkaufs-/ und Shoppingmöglichkeiten. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt durch und durch genossen.

    Entspannter Urlaub

    Ein sehr schönes Haus in ruhiger und entspannter Lage! Wer Lust auf Radtouren, Wandern oder Strand hat ist hier genau richtig. Die sehr schöne kleine Stadt Ribe ist nicht weit entfernt und hat einiges zu bieten, wie eine bezaubernde Innenstadt, Museen und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten! Eine wirklich sehr schöne Gegend! Also wir würden wiederkommen 😀

    Ein wirklich toller Urlaub in einem absolut gemütlichen und charmanten Reetdachhaus, fast wie bei Rosamunde Pilcher. Wir haben es sehr genossen abends vorm Kamin ein Glas Wein zu trinken und den Tag ausklingen zu lassen....

    Gemütliches Reetdachhaus

    Wir haben den Aufenthalt in dem ruhig gelegenen Haus sehr genossen. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet und neben der Küche befindet sich eine kleine Speisekammer mit Kühl/Gefrierkombination. Das Wohnzimmer ist sehr gemütlich eingerichtet mit einer schönen Wohnlandschaft. Ein Kamin ist auch vorhanden. Es war sehr angenehm, dass das Haus schon warm war bei unserer Ankunft. Wir können das Haus sehr gut empfehlen!

    Sehr gemütliches Haus in ruhiger Umgebung, eingerichtet mit allem was man braucht, ausreichend Platz für 10 Personen mit vernünftigen richtigen Sitz und Schlafgelegenheiten, es steht ein guter Gasgrill mit Gasflasche zur Verfügung. Der Vermieter wohnt direkt im Haus daneben und ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir würden jederzeit gerne wieder kommen.

    Familienausflug

    Wir waren mit Kindern und Enkelkindern im Haus und haben ein sehr schönes Wochenende gehabt. Das Haus hat alles, was man benötigt und genug Platz für 8 Personen. Auch die Außenflächen bieten viele Möglichkeiten für Spiele. 1 Türklinke war leider lose, so daß die Kinder nur durch lautes Rufen erlöst wurden. Letztendlich hat es zur Heiterkeit beigetragen. Leider fanden wir verschmutztes Geschirr und Gläser vor. Habe ich schnell geregelt. Leider war der Gasgrill nicht nutzbar. Er hat auf alle Fälle bessere Zeiten gesehen, obwohl man nach Nachfrage einer neuen Gasflasche wirklich bemüht war sie zu ersetzen. Es sollte einem bewußt sein, daß das Meer nur mit einem Fahruntersatz erreichbar ist. Ansonsten empfehlen wir das Haus gern weiter.

    Familienurlaub

    Wir waren das 1. mal mit 4 Enkeln und deren Eltern im Urlaub. Das Ferienhaus bietet dafür genügend Platz, auch um sich gelegentlich vom Familientrubel zurück zu ziehen. Das Haus an sich ist etwas abgelegen vom Trubel der Insel, was wir sehr genossen haben. Vor dem Haus befindet sich eine Spielwiese, Sitzgelegenheiten und ein Grill. Die Kinder konnten dadurch wunderbar im Freien spielen. Im Haus gibt es genügend Zimmer zum Schlafen, einen großen Essbereich und eine gemütliche Sitzecke. Die Küche läßt von der Ausstattung keine Wünsche offen. Von Vorteil bei unserer Personenzahl - 4 Erwachsene, 4 Kinder - sind die 2 WCs mit integrierter Dusche. Mich haben die Duschvorhänge etwas gestört, aber das ist meiner Abneigung gegen solche Vorhänge zuzuschreiben. Ganz toll war auch die separate Waschküche mit Wadchmaschine und Zugang zu einer 2. Terasse. Da es sich bei dem Ferienhaus um ein altes, gut saniertes Bauernhaus handelt, sollten große Leute (ab 180cm) auf die niedrige Deckenhöhe achten. Da das Haus mit Selbstendreinugung ist sollten einige Putzmittel wie Scheuermilch und Glasreiniger nicht fehlen. Gut das wir diese dabei hatten. Alles in allem ist dieses Objekt sehr zu empfehlen.

    Sehr gemütliches altes Haus mit Stil.

    Das alte Bauernhaus hebt sich durch seinen urtümlichen Stil deutlich vom dänischen Standard-Ferienhaus ab. Absolut sauber und sehr schön eingerichtet. Die Decken sind niedrig, große Menschen müssen sich ducken, aber dafür ist es sehr gemütlich. Sehr sehr liebe Gastgeber, die nebenan wohnen. Sie halten sich zurück, wenn man selbst keine Fragen hat. Zum Strand benötigt man ein Fahrrad oder ein Auto. Der endlose Strand mit endlosen Dünenlandschaften ist ein Traum. Wir kommen wieder!!
